Leidos is hiring a Test Engineer to work with a Government-Contractor team providing a near real-time, geospatially accurate Common Operating Picture (COP) to support mission requirements. This COP enables sharing and reuse of geospatial intelligence across multiple function areas in support of military operations. The Test Engineer will support systems responsible for processing, exploitation, and dissemination of multi- discipline and multi-sensor intelligence, mapping, and weather information to weapon system platforms and Warfighters.
Primary Responsibilities
List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.
Responsible for software verification and validation, including test planning, development, execution, analysis and associated documentation.
Assists in the development of the test strategy in order to meet the release schedule.
Coordinates testing activities, supports bug reporting and tracking and software test processes.
Responsible for writing tests, executing those tests, and reporting the results.
Initiates and analyzes problem reports and change proposals.
Develops strong cooperative relationships with engineering and management teammates to achieve end-to-end product quality.
Ensures that hardware/software under test implements the functionality specified in all approved requirement documents and that it performs as expected from the customers perspective.
Must have knowledge of Government security policies and familiarity with security-related technologies and auditing tools. - Designs, constructs and implements manual and automated tests that thoroughly exercise the product from the perspective of the customer. - Assesses system and software level requirement specifications, software design, interface design, test, and other development related documentation as needed. - Assists with implementation of the enhancements, including documentation, instruction and hands-on- training of others.

What You'll Be Doing
Provide administrative or executive assistance support for select senior staff.
Provide task management assistance and workflow assistance.

Provide travel coordination and logistics. Support the preparation of reviews, briefings (includes preparing and revising briefing slides), and presentations to senior department leadership and interdepartmental committees, as well as other government and non-government officials.
Provide quick reaction support to include associated papers, briefings, and slides.
Manage the development of documents and maintain configuration control using DoD CIO standard templates, while coordinating inputs from multiple subject matter experts.
Support the correspondence management process to include all aspects of mail operations and electronic workflow tools (e.g., Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS)). Draft plans, reports, presentations directives, correspondence, and other documents.
Support senior executive and directorate level calendar management and ensure that background/readahead materials are prepared in support of upcoming meetings and activities. Such assistance will also include providing routine security and administrative support such as access control to DoD CIO classified spaces, greeting office visitors, according to priority.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of relevant DoD, operations and/or business experience.

Job Summary
The selected individual will track and help with the management of equipment and software license information for a large, complex hardware/software system consisting of multiple geographically distributed nodes and diverse configurations within a multifaceted network environment. Leidos is looking for a System Integration Engineer to join a high performing agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology to provide support for adding new capabilities to a complex system with exacting interface, performance, and security requirements. Program execution follows DEVOPS best practices and employs robust development, test, and production environments. We are using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools alongside a full suite of team collaboration tools. Leidos is the prime contractor providing system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support. This fast-paced program is focused on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities while continuing to support an on-going mission and operational system.
Job Description:
The selected individual will provide full lifecycle support including high-level requirements gathering, systems design input, and end-to-end system integration and deployment. The candidate will develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve internal functionality, enhance performance with internal and external systems, protect critical data sets, and provide assessments of system and network vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong system administration background and excellent communication skills and be well versed in current automation technologies to reduce manual intervention. The candidate will be responsible for technical planning, system design and integration decisions, and risk evaluation, and will perform minimal amounts of racking and cabling, manually configuring devices, and deployment of developed software, vendor firmware, COTS, and FOSS installations and updates, when needed.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will provide guidance and support for system integration engineering of large-scale systems, major system elements, and interfacing systems that are part of a large complex network environment with geographically distributed components. The candidate will interface with program management, system and software integration engineers, test engineers, information assurance engineers, and other project team members in an Agile environment. The selected candidate will support Linux and Windows-based components within a large, high-performance computing system. The candidate will provide substantial diagnostics and troubleshooting which involves working with other System Integrators to determine system behavior errors (may be software or hardware-related), including examining packet captures at a low level and analyzing event/audit logs to identify errors and determine root causes. The selected candidate will provide support for development and production systems; perform ad-hoc tasking which may include applying software builds, updating application versions, applying security patches, and changing configuration settings; and will also provide support for deployment activities, COTS software evaluation and installation, and external site hardware and software installation.

Responsibilities:
Successfully utilize respources for completion to the development and production environments of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline.
