THE ROLE : The Field Service Representative will be responsible for providing consultation and advisory services at project jobsites regarding the installation, testing, and commissioning of all Leopold products and systems. In this role, the incumbent will also provide investigative findings (via a daily report) for all phases of installation and perform diagnosis or troubleshooting of older installations while working with the internal Xylem team to develop a corrective plan of action for the Customer. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Obtains the appropriate drawings/ design information required to supervise or test the Underdrain/DAF/Eliminite/ Membrane system in the field, obtained from the job file in the -R- drive vault or by consulting the appropriate Project Manager or Project Engineer.
Comes prepared with the necessary drawing & design information required to serve as Leopold technical -expert- in the field (prior to reaching the jobsite)
Possess superb customer relation skills and must be able to handle service calls that require more attention and care without becoming frustrated and rushing to conclusions
Carries appropriate certificates within their possession to be provided if requested on the job site.
Stays current with required training for admittance to jobsites (PPE, Confined Space, etc.) and all required training required by ES&H
Provides advice and consultation to contractors during the installation of Leopold equipment and systems for mechanical and structural related equipment
Observes and verifies that the contractor's installation is correct in accordance with Leopold's standard specifications and Installation, Operation, & Maintenance manual.
Verifies that contractor's installations are in accordance with Leopold requirements by performing inspections and testing activities as required by standard Leopold -Testing & Inspection Requirements-
Trains and instructs contractors and operators on mechanical start-up services for all process related equipment; including all necessary adjustments to mechanical and structural components and equipment
Conducts Leopold standard and customized job-site training including proper system operation and maintenance training according to the site specific -Training Plan-
Inspects malfunctioning mechanical and structural equipment to analyze problems and diagnose corrective actions. Documents and recommends corrective measures to the Project Manager for new equipment needed or modifications needed to the existing equipment for improved performance.
Documents changes and modifications to equipment required for proper function in weekly Service Report and delivers to appropriate parties.
Prepares and submits fully completed and timely reports via ServiceMax describing installation activities, conditions, or problems.
Support other non-field service-related activities on an as-needed basis. This may include filter and media installation support, filter startup testing & training, and other activities needed to support other functions. Coordinate with service coordinators, engineering,
procurement, & project management to ensure site readiness
Other essential duties as assigned by Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS :
Associate or technical degree in mechanical curriculum or ten (10) years of equivalent experience in related field
Mechanical experience with demonstrated on-site experience
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet functions
Must possess excellent communication and personal interaction skills (written and oral)
Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings & specifications
Must be able to acquire and maintain a US or Canadian driver's license and passport
Effectively document conditions and communicate through electronic devices including cell phones, laptop computers, and photography
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong mechanical background
Ability to evaluate & troubleshoot mechanical systems
Familiarity and experience with construction trades involving masonry, pipefitting, carpentry, and surveying layout techniques
Ability to deliver training to operators and site personnel
DAY IN THE LIFE :
In this role, the working environment will be on-site at Municipal or Industrial constructions sites involving water and wastewater process equipment and potential exposure to electrical, mechanical, and chemical hazards as well as a standard office environment. This position requires occasional heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds, extended standing/walking, and wearing of Personal Protective Safety Equipment. This role requires 100% travel.

Develop electrical control panel designs, write PLC/HMI code, and reviews designs by others
Drive and lead continuous improvement activities
Analyze new technology trends and establish plans to incorporate new technology benefits into Xylem projects
Proactively identify and mitigate technical risk
Provide detailed instruction and design guidance to E&C team
Provide expert level customer support & establish team actions to deliver on our commitments

Working in the office performing design and administrative functions, in the panel shop performing simulation and testing of

The Role: Unloads incoming material from carrier and places material in designated area or delivers to appropriate cost center. Receives, checks, identifies and issues incoming or outgoing material and oversees assigned area of responsibility. Operates various types of gas, electric or manual material handling vehicles and overhead crane.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Unloads incoming material from carrier checking material for identity and quantity. Signs freight bills and all related receipts and provides clerk with necessary records such as: bill of lading, packing slip, invoice etc. Places material in storage area or delivers to appropriate cost center.
Receives, checks, identifies, stores and issues raw and in process material. Delivers material to designated areas or cost center.
Oversees assigned area of responsibility making sure all stock is identified and kept in a neat and orderly manner and is obtainable at all times.
Operates all forms of gas, electric or manual material handling vehicles and equipment such as but not limited to forklift trucks, aisle stackers, dollies and yard crane.
Operates overhead crane from booth or by remote control from the floor. Loads, unloads and moves heavy material, parts and equipment to designated areas or cost centers. Hooks up material as required.
Visually and/or dimensionally checks material, supplies, parts sub-assemblies and finished product for shortages, defects and non-standard conditions. Upon discovery notifies supervision of all shortages, defects, non-standard conditions and malfunctioning machinery and equipment.
Maintains related records, cleans machinery, equipment and work area on a daily basis and
Performs preventative maintenance as assigned. Performs all related miscellaneous duties as directed by supervision.

Manage Global Travel program operations from outside service providers
Maintain and develop travel systems and resources, including internal travel page, Xylem Now Social platform, and associated collateral
Drive excellent experience for all travelers including travel arrangers (EAs), meeting planners, senior executives, Relocations team, etc.
Cultivate traveler-centric culture. Reduce frictions across all stages of the travel cycle: pre-trip approvals, while on the road, and post trip expense (travel expense reimbursement)
Oversee and provide direction to the agency dedicated account representative assigned to Xylem
Collaborate and partner with cross functional business partners and external vendors and stakeholders to identify and implement options to improve the quality of service delivery and pursue opportunities for global process delivery in line with best practice
Provide metrics and reports on travel compliance, spend, and KPIs.
Accountable for service delivery against agreed and evolving KPI's and service partnership agreement
Schedule quarterly reviews with travel vendors
Recommend key process improvements leveraging fact-based analysis
Drive cost saving opportunities where feasible
Resolve issues and escalations efficiently and effectively
Provide training & communications to internal and external stakeholders
Administer and Report on Traveler Surveys
OBT - ensure that travel policy rules are programed correctly, test various rules for different levels and countries (POS), verify that OBT's messages and -pop-ups- for travelers are accurate and reflects latest travel policies

3+ years recent experience in global Corporate Travel, Meeting & Event Management environments or on Travel Supplier side (TMC, airline, hotel, Travel Technology).

Technology savvy with extensive knowledge and skill in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
