PenFed is hiring an Network Engineer II. The primary purpose of this job is to perform engineering and implementation specific tasks on enterprise infrastructure systems, services and applications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, system design; standards based implementation, capacity planning, systems integration, process / procedure development and refinement, and technical support.

  • Provide escalation support to troubleshoot and maintain production infrastructure and to resolve production issues and outages.

  • Maintain proper documentation including configuration specifics and procedures, for implementation and ongoing operation/maintenance of infrastructure solutions.

  • Provide technical support for enterprise systems. Troubleshoot, repair and recover from hardware or software failures in accordance with standard operating procedures.

  • Perform routine operational tasks, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, resources, systems, and key processes. Review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs.

  • Perform systems related maintenance such as systems rebooting, patching, backups, snapshots, health monitoring, hardware/software asset management, software distribution and systems decommissioning.

  • Install, configure, test and maintain systems, application software and infrastructure tools.

  • Serve as a key team member using existing technical knowledge and have the skills to perform specific projects independently.

  • Maintain the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

  • Interact with senior engineers and management to identify areas of improvement for operational efficiency.

  • Work closely with technical and non-technical personnel within and across PenFed departments and vendors.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.

  • In lieu of a degree, combination of education and a minimum of six (6) years of related work experience is required that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform all the essential job functions.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Network, Compute, Storage, Cloud and End-User technologies.

  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and multi-tasking skills desired.

  • Must be able to present system designs for user approval at formal reviews.

  • Must be capable to provide solutions to identified systems issues.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Gigamon, Infoblox, NetBrain and Silver Peak.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Cisco and F5

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will not supervise employees.

Licenses and Certifications

There are no additional licenses and/or certifications required.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

PenFed is hiring a (Remote) Agent Mortgage Loan Officer at our Jacksonville, Florida location. The primary purpose of this job is to respond to mortgage inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from other PenFed's business channels. The Agent MLO will conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine member-financing objectives, advice members of product and pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information.

  • Ensure exceptional member service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and state compliance policies and adhering to Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HDMA) guidelines.

  • Learn and utilize assigned programs and technology to maintain regulatory loan documentation requirements. Ensure all conditions and closing dates are met.

  • Initiate and maintain contact with realtors and members throughout the processing period. Ensure that all related parties are kept informed of loan status, conveying the appropriate level of urgency and professionalism so that all expectations are exceeded.

  • Identify any issues, which may affect ability to meet previously established conditions and dates in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of four (4) year of college degree preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of residential mortgage lending experience with a focus on generating self-sourced business is preferred.

  • Demonstrated understanding of mortgage processing, underwriting and closing procedures.

  • Knowledge of Conventional, FHA and or VA lending guidelines.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing or a related field is required.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years' of experience in Mortgage Sales/Operations with a minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience is required.

  • Advanced knowledge of mortgage originations; including product, underwriting, investor and compliance guidelines required.

  • Coordinate with department heads and accounting to ensure appropriate accruals and tracking of significant one-time items.

  • Provide subject-matter expertise on related budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, maintain policies and requirements in support of functional area process design, testing and implementation. Maintain a good working knowledge of relevant accounting standards and policies for financial budgets are prepared and maintained in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Other Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with other team members to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product.

  • Lead projects as requested by Senior Management and perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Assist with maintaining PenFed's compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances by abiding by PenFed compliance program and all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications
