This candidate will have experience in the use of scheduling tools especially MS Project (2010+) and solid knowledge of MS Office tools. Demonstrable knowledge of critical path processes. Specific Duties include:

• With limited supervision after training, conduct review of monthly schedule submittals from contractors to the government (schedule analyses) Identify schedule drivers and changes from month to month

Qualifications

• Develop process improvements as a result of lessons learned from administration record compilation for litigation.

The contractor will attend appropriate planning and development forums and technical interchange meetings to further understand the background and basis for developing technical analyses. This position may include work in the vault, and knowledge of SAP/STO operations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze and assess Command and Control, SDA, SSA sharing and space control concepts, architectures, plans, policies, doctrine, and requirements.

• Provide analytical and administrative support to, and/or products and documents for combined/joint space operations planning consistent with Joint Publication 5-0, Joint Planning.

• Analyze technical capabilities, mission objectives, and available resources to develop strategies, policy and guidance, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), alternatives and recommended solutions to achieve and/or optimize specific desired space operations goals and objectives to ensure assigned operations are positioned to support and anticipate end user needs.

• Identify and manage system CONOPS and requirements based on SME stakeholder inputs

• Communicate requirements to vendors and assess designs against requirements

• Directly report to multiple customer stakeholders project status, risks, and opportunities

• Monitor integrated project schedules

• Assist in the development of project review briefings ahead of critical milestones for presentation at an executive level

• Provide timely and precise communication to customer and contractor stakeholders towards effective collaboration in the execution of the project

• Act as a self starter who identifies problems and seeks out solutions without detailed guidance

• Represent the customer during witnessing of key test events

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field

• Minimum of nine years of relevant engineering experience

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills

• Experience writing requirements document, test plans, standard operating procedures and other common engineering documents

Desired:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or experience as a Mechanical Engineer
