Data Center Facility Operator
JOB SUMMARY:
The Data Center Facility Operator is responsible for the ongoing operation, maintenance, and repair of critical infrastructure systems at Southern Company's facilities. This encompasses a variety of tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of all critical systems that are necessary for the safe and efficient operation of company's facilities, which will include data centers, or other mission critical environments. The primary goal is to maintain high availability and reliability of the facility infrastructure to prevent any potential interruptions to business operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Qualifications:
Associate degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or a related engineering field are preferred.
Industry certifications such as CMCO, BICSI, IFMA, or other relevant industry associations.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data center operations or a related mission critical role.
Experience with Building Management Systems and automation controls.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and procedures.
Understanding of data center cabling standards and practices.
Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and firewalls.
Familiarity with server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
Proficiency with monitoring systems and diagnostic tools.
Understanding of backup systems, disaster recovery, and data replication processes.
Knowledge of physical IT security best practices.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and backup power systems.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work in both a team setting and independently with minimum supervision.
Ability to occasionally work various shifts, nights, weekends, and be on call for emergencies.
Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting (50 lbs max), bendng, and standing for extended periods.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor data center infrastructure, environment, and performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Perform regular system backups and routine audits of systems and software.
Respond to and resolve help desk requests related to data center operations.
Maintain accurate documentation and operational logs.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment servicing and repairs.
Participate in disaster recovery tests and actual events as necessary.
Assist with capacity planning and the implementation of new solutions.
Provide training and support to junior staff.

Market Sales Executive
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for the direct acquisition and retention of subscriber accounts in a defined market area. They will participate as a member of the sales team and qualify and sell new and existing accounts in all customer segments. The Market Sales Executive is also responsible for maintaining and growing the existing customer base as well as maintain, prospecting and recruiting new Authorized Dealers and Territory Account Executives in their specific geographic territory. This sales executive will act as the primary contact between Southern Linc and Dealer principals, TAE's and our customers. The primary duties of the Electrician are to ensure the safe and efficient installation of the EES equipment within the specifications of the project. Our projects require an experienced Electrician who is comfortable working on three phase systems at 480V. Summary
The primary duties of the Electrician are to ensure the safe and efficient installation of the EES equipment within the specifications of the project. Our projects require an experienced Electrician who is comfortable working on three phase systems at 480V. Our current project portfolio requires background experience with jobs related to transformers, VFDs, Pumps, or HVAC Equipment connections (this is not a complete list, and all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply).
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma.
Minimum five years' experience as an electrician in a construction setting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to read construction drawings / blueprints highly preferred.
Ability to read and communicate in English.
Valid Driver's License.

Southwest TMC Transmission Lines Engineer
NOTE: This position will be filled at an exempt 3, 4, 5 or 6 depending on the skills & experience level of the successful candidate .
This position exists to provide support to the Southwest TMC Transmission Line Maintenance workgroup. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include supporting the TMC Supervisor, Foreman, and Line Crew by providing line design support, preparing and closing capital and maintenance work orders, coordinating material needs, overseeing maintenance and inspection contractors, entering and reviewing data, coordinating work activities with other departments, patrolling transmission lines, coordinating repairs on transmission lines and associated equipment, performing environmental inspections, etc. This position is located in Monroeville, AL. Job Experience
BS Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university required

We are seeking an experienced, independent and reliable Generator Field Service Technician. Great earnings potential. Candidate must have 6+ years of commercial experience working on generators, engines, switchgear and controllers. Volvo engine experience a plus.
Responsibilities
Repair and service all makes and models of Generator Sets.
Repair and troubleshoot engines such as Volvo, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere and MTU.
Troubleshoot, repair and program switchgear.
Inspect, repair, service and start-up load bank test requirements on equipment.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Thorough and timely completion of job documentation.
Provide on call services as required.
Pay Range $28/Hr- $40/Hr
Job Requirements
6+ years of commercial/industrial experience working on generators, engines, switchgear and controllers. Volvo engine experience a plus.
20% overnight travel.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screen
