The role.
R&D Manager of the Product Development department reporting to the Head of R&D. The Product Development Manager is a vital role at Innomotics LLC. Strategically this person is responsible for the future of the medium voltage drive product platform as well as supporting the global organization in Asia, Europe and the Americas. Tactically this person is the day-to-day manager of the department and is responsible in owning the planning and the development of all project work.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of a 10-15 person product development team that includes electrical and mechanical engineers.
Monitors and proactively mitigates risks and issues through all phases of the product development lifecycle to ensure quality and on-time delivery state-of-the-art systems.
Collaborates with Product Management to define a product roadmap that enables achievement of business goals in a cost-effective and low risk manner.
Globally executes an architecture strategy to create a new generation of the product platform for Innomotics medium voltage drives.
Enjoys working on challenging and complex projects while balancing deadlines, budget, and scope requirements.
Driving constant improvement based on KPIs tied to business performance levers.
Interacting with staff in their professional development.
Interface with cross functional groups that include (but not limited to) power electronics, SW development, product compliance, applications engineering, manufacturing, type testing, and drafting.
Develop new design methods, processes or changes in design to improve manufacturing efficiency at factories or sub-vendors.
Strong technical leadership, documentation, project management, and writing skills.
Your profile.
Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of related work experience. Advanced degree may be substituted for years of experience.
3+ years of people management experience.
Strong grasp on fundamentals of electrical engineering (or) power electronics concepts, theories and practical applications.
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of sophisticated assignments.
Experience in control theory for the design, analysis, and testing of power electronics-based converters required.
Development experience on the Innomotics Perfect Harmony GH180 product.
Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
Required travel 5%.
The pay range for this position is $109,200 - $187,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.

Our Systems & Service Speci alists perform assigned tasks on automation systems. As a Systems & Service Specialist, you will:
Execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies
Work with multiple internal service team members including Service Sales, Client Service Managers, Service Coordinators, and RAM Digital Service Center personnel
Follow safety requirements as outlined by Siemens and customers and successfully complete assigned training as outlined in the training path
Follow mandatory policies, procedures, and standards, may coordinate with contractors on job sites, maintains tools and test equipment
Support after hours during on-call rotation, responds to service calls (emergency and on-site) as assigned. Perform repairs as directed on all automation system types. Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures. Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers.
Be responsible for completing service ticket documentation per the policy, follow and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of services performed and generates reports within Siemens tools
Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper system operations and assists with training
Identify and report system discrepancies, suggest system upgrade opportunities, and may assist in pricing of repairs and upgrades to existing agreement and performs system checkout and startup on projects
Participate in job site final walk and/or final completion for systems-to-service turnover on assigned jobs performs other duties as assigned
Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines. Document commissioning details; communicate deficiencies and progress. Plan work with Lead Technician, and Team Leader.
Network technologies: Assist with data back-up from data servers and the creation of automated back-up procedures. Support troubleshooting and resolution of inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations. Assist with the set-up and configuration of PC workstations and user interfaces.
Support the confirmation of proper network performance.
Operational testing, verification, and acceptance: Run routine reports to review system operation. Participate in final inspection and testing. Support customer acceptance. Assist with customer training on system operations.
Complete and submit routine written reports. Provide plans and control system documents to engineering for as-built drawings.
Work overtime when needed (Compressed schedule performance can be a factor and will require extended hours to meet commitments)
Work rotational on-call and/or minimal overnight travel
Project site communication and coordination: May support others in the scheduling of trade contractors to coordinate startup services. Submit accurate time and expense reports.

Basic Qualifications:
Electro-mechanical experience (either in a previous role or through education) and user PC/software skill
On-the-job experience reading, understanding, and interpreting design and construction documents
Ability and willingness to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in various conditions
Must be able and willing to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet as well as able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate or Bachelor's degree in
electronics, mechanical engineering, or related
1+ years' experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment
Specialized skill training/certification
Knowledge of building automation systems, PLCs, HVAC, electrical concepts, and building operations
Engineering and programming (PLC or BMS) background
Knowledge of building system communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP)

This Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) places you in the center of our Siemens Large Drives - Motor Factory in Norwood, OH. You will be exposed to SCM and learn the application of LEAN & Six Sigma tools and apply these skills to improve the business strategy for manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, order management and procurement - and so become part of the Norwood Motor Family
The OLDP track provides you with the skills needed to become a Supervisor in Production, Process Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing/Quality Engineer, Order/Project Manager, Tactical Buyer, Production/Resource Planner, or a Strategic Procurement Expert
The program is a 2-year program consisting of three 8-month rotations. Each rotation will be in a different role to quickly give a wider knowledge base about the business, processes, people, and products of Innomotics.
OLDP program participants are full-time employees with full benefits. This program is designed to help you create a successful career path within Innomotics.

The individual in the role will perform any assigned warehouse and office task as determined by daily requirements for the day-to-day material operation. - Perform Cycle counts using SAP and project specific inventory systems.

- Create and process SAP Service orders.
- Pack, process, and ship material using SAP and carrier specific web sites / requirements.
- Issue material to customer using SAP and/ or Project specific inventory systems and instructions.
- Physically and virtually receive, inspect, and stock inbound material.
- Receive and process routable parts (cores) returned by customer in accordance with Siemens and Customer requirements.

Overview:
The Utility Systems & Solutions business is looking for a Program Manager (PgM) to join our Partner Programs and Project management team. As a PgM, you will be responsible for laying out the structure for successful execution of multiple projects on long term programs for our strategic utility customers. Responsibilities will include overseeing projects managed by other project managers while also managing the successful execution of few projects on the program, from project initiation through final closeout. You will work in a matrix style organization requiring excellent coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver customer success that helps generate more business. Headquartered in Wendell, NC, the Utility Systems & Solutions segment executes a diverse portfolio of projects, and this position will be focused on medium voltage switchgear (AIS & GIS) including medium-voltage power distribution equipment packaging and services. Direct all phases of projects on a program from inception through completion.

This Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) places you in the center of our Siemens Large Drives - Motor Factory in Norwood, OH. You will be exposed to SCM and learn the application of LEAN & Six Sigma tools and apply these skills to improve the business strategy for manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, order management and procurement - and so become part of the Norwood Motor Family
The OLDP track provides you with the skills needed to become a Supervisor in Production, Process Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing/Quality Engineer, Order/Project Manager, Tactical Buyer, Production/Resource Planner, or a Strategic Procurement Expert

Overview:
The Utility Systems & Solutions business is looking for a Program Manager (PgM) to join our Partner Programs and Project management team. As a PgM, you will be responsible for laying out the structure for successful execution of multiple projects on long term programs for our strategic utility customers. Responsibilities will include overseeing projects managed by other project managers while also managing the successful execution of few projects on the program, from project initiation through final closeout. The program is a 2-year program consisting of three 8-month rotations. Each rotation will be in a different role to quickly give a wider knowledge base about the business, processes, people, and products of Innomotics.

The Energy Performance Services Account Executive manages and grows the EPS business. Short Overall Summary of Position In this role, you will be responsible for all projects activities for large performance contracting guaranteed energy savings projects within your area of responsibility. This position can be based out of any of our branch locations.
As a Senior Project Manager -Energy Performance Solution, you will:
Participates in pre-bid reviews and sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of the sales estimate and job layout. Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements. Follows up with appropriate management to assure understanding and satisfaction of job scope.
Manages the development of project plans in advance of project activity assuring effective execution by the Project Team. Monitors progress to assure compliance with the pre-determined execution plan.
Prepares or oversees preparation of engineering re-estimate reports. Utilizes financial and monthly forecasting to manage and contain costs. Utilizes financial and monthly forecasting tools and works with other team members to monitor, manage and control costs. Prepares or oversees preparation of progress billings, pursues timely payments from the customer and authorizes payments to material suppliers and subcontractors.
Obtains bids and utilizes procurement to select subcontractors to provide wiring, device installation, special construction or other services.
Participates in job site final walk-thru and manages the completion of all close-out documentation such as As-Built drawings and system operating instructions; transfers or excess materials; billings, collections and payments; and all project records.
Drives project development to hit OI target and schedule.

Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Project or Primavera and Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Business Development:

We are looking for a Digital Transformation Architect (DTA) with a strong Solution Architecture background. This position will be remote for candidates in the continental US. Hybrid capabilities available for candidates local to Greater Detroit or Atlanta areas.
You'll make an impact through:
Business Development:
Work with DI Sales to develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate and expand Siemens solutions within Major Accounts/Opportunities and communicate these plans to, and develop support from, critical stake holders in the Siemens organization.
Serve as a critical lead (-Technical Orchestrator-) in the development of successful sales strategies aligned to Campaigns and Digital Threads for competitive displacement and broadening the overall Siemens portfolio usage within the customer.
Leverage Siemens Digital Thread foundation tools - eXplorer, SolutionLink, Digital Experience Centers - to support the end to end selling engagement model with the customer and be able to lead level 1 and level 2 discussions of said digital threads along with supporting resources.
Drives relationship management with CXO-Level, buying center and major decision-makers at the customer to add value and position Siemens as a trusted advisor for their digital transformation.
Knowledge Sharing and Mentoring:
Oversee knowledge sharing within PreSales, including directing and leading activities and resources based on our established Digital Threads and supporting solutions.
Provide guidance and mentoring to internal team members and external partners on best practices for one or more DI solution domains across one or more industries, and the capabilities and business value of DI solutions.
Coach, guide, build, and improve relationships with other presales employees, and partners.
As needed, support Digital Business Development team in the development of sales campaigns to help drive new business and create new sales opportunities, by leveraging previous wins and re-using unique differentiators.
Solution Consulting:
Design and document the High-level Solution Architecture and Roadmap including Requirements and derived User Stories and/or Use Cases, Data model, EAI Technology, IT/OT infrastructure (incl. Cloud technology) developed in partnership with the extended Presales team (Business Unit specific resources - Applications Engineers, Sales Specialists, and Customer Services).
Lead short term (1-2) day -workshops- or assessments with customers in conducting scoping workshops, maturity assessments, road mapping, etc in support of the discovery and selling process. Offer guidance and support to the customer in understanding the options and recommendations for the high-level architecture.
Work in partnership with the Customer Services Architect and Business Development Manager during the transition phase from PreSales to Customer Services while supporting SOW and Implementation Phase Plan development.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of manufacturing methods and processes, production operations, automation experience.
Working knowledge of complex manufacturing solutions and some experience in automation architectures involving multiple products and technologies both hardware and software.
5+ years of technical consulting, or support experience which includes performing proof of concepts, defining requirements and scope deployment, drafting solution architectures, as well as being part of the selection process.
8+ years of overall professional experience within related technologies.
High school diploma or equivilent is required
Proven record of ability to present technology solutions and defend business value justification in front of groups while incorporating specific selling techniques i.e. Challenger Mindset.
Experience and comfortable with executive level engagements.
Experience leading and managing teams of technical and business consultants from within, and outside of their formal organization. Ability to positively influence them with a common understanding of what success looks like.
Excellent verbal group presentation and written communications skills. Comfortable with the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, proposals, as well as conduct business, technology, and status reviews.
Excellent organizational skills.
Self-starter, motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
Must be open to an average of 25% travel, almost exclusively domestic.

Preferred Qualifications:
BS/BA in an engineering or manufacturing-related discipline.

The pay range for this position is $88,340 - $151,440 and the annual incentive target is 25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
