Our Service Coordinators coordinate the delivery of onsite and remote service activities for our customers from the initial demand creation through delivery and close-out . Why is this so important? As a Service Coordinator, you ensure customer expectations and commitments are met for all services by scheduling and dispatching resources.

As a Service Coordinator, you will:

  • Support, inform, prioritize, and coordinate activities and resources across branch offices and the Digital Service Center

  • Act as primary point of contact for service customers to ensure expectations are met

  • Handle incoming service requests via phone or email, resulting in a service work order and scheduled or dispatched personnel

  • Schedule resources to support standard service agreements

  • Handle decisions regarding the scheduling and movement of resources and material based on the nature of service calls, urgency, contractual obligation, and availability

  • Order and track parts and subcontractors in support of maintenance plans and service calls using the service platform

  • Evaluate time-and-material (T&M) service orders for completed costs and scope of work; process invoices in accordance with standard billing practices

  • Proactively follow up with customers after completion of service to ensure a high level of satisfaction with the quality of work

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diplomaor state-recognized GED

  • Must have the ability to demonstrate:

  • Organizational and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to read and understand customer service contracts

  • Experience with Microsoft Officeand business software systems (e.g., SAP)

  • Verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree

  • Experience dispatching/scheduling field personnel/technicians

  • Familiarity or experience with Fire Alarms/Sprinklers, Security Systems, HVAC, or a similar industry is a plus

Field Technician/Specialist

The Technician/Specialist is the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money and create a more sustainable future for our environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet with the customers (for Service) to diagnose their HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security electronic control system malfunctions and use your expertise to maintain, repair, or (for Solutions) install new equipment; commissioning if needed.

  • Consult with our internal engineering and management team for discrepancies in our drawings or as problems arise.

  • Interface with the customers: complete the service work documentation, assist them with training instructions needed for future ease-of-use, and (most importantly) recommend system enhancements providing a value-added partner relationship

Qualifications:

U.S. Military experience as an E4 or above (Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, Reserves)

  • Only active military personnel will be considered for this role. Acceptance into the position requires military approval. Those selected will continue to be paid under their current wage/benefits with the military and will not be paid by Siemens.

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • (Automation specific) Experience in demand-side energy services or Certified Energy Manager preferred

  • (Fire specific) NICET Level 1 certification preferred

  • (Security specific) Physical Security Professional ASIS certification preferred

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Familiarity or experience with engineering HVAC, Building Automation, Fire Alarm, or Security systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business software systems

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English

The Service Sales Executive is committed to supporting our Service Agreements business within our commercial Smart Buildings Total Fire Alarm & Life Safety Service team. Our Sales team supports our Operations team whose focus is to perform fire/life safety service and maintenance in large commercial buildings such as hospitals, universities, and industrial facilities. As a Service Sales Executive, you will:

  • Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on your assigned quota.

  • Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake. Deliver on forecasted results consistently.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region, segments, and verticals within the region. Keep current on automation, electrical, fire, mechanical, and IoT market business and product trends.

  • Develop a vertical market and account management plan that focuses on strategic growth. Identify new business opportunities to grow in new markets or adjacent segments and develop -go to market- strategies to drive business to the end user customer and the standard construction channel.

  • Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer's organization by understanding their challenges and recommending services to ensure their building systems perform as required to achieve business goals.

  • Attend industry-specific networking events; actively participate in professional organizations such as NFPA, NFSA, ASHE, NBFAA, AFAA, IFMA, SAME, 7x24, etc. to build a network of contacts and to represent Siemens in the market.

  • Consult with the customer and determine budgeting and investment requirements.

  • Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers, leveraging Siemens world-class digital service delivery as a key differentiator.

  • Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

  • Work with your internal sales support to enable you to spend more time with your customers.

  • Collaborate with sales estimators to prepare cost estimates and customer bid packages.

  • Partner with other sales business teams to plan, target, and acquire new projects and accounts.

  • Set pricing based on identified value of the services offered to the customer.

  • Estimating and selling technical solutions and servicing offerings effectively and independently

We are looking for a Smart Buildings Project Management Intern. This position will be based out of our Omaha, Nebraska area branch.

Internship Program Start Dates: May 19, June 2 and June 9, 2025.

What you will do as a Siemens Smart Buildings Project Management Intern

  • During this 10-week internship program, you will rotate through various departments at the local branch office, focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure

  • 80% of your time will be spent on project management-related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.)

  • 10% of your time with be spent with the sales department learning how we go-to-market and sell our solutions and services

  • 10% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service related tasks needed to deliver world-class service to Siemens customers

  • You may get experience rotating through our core business segments, which include HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability Systems

  • The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation.

Responsibilities working alongside current Project Managers/ Associate Project Manager, you will:

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents to establish a project delivery plan

  • Develop and maintain a project schedule, as well as coordinate needs with the project team, identifying time-sensitive installation needs

  • Manage the procurement of supplies and materials to complete projects

  • Participate in project cost reviews

  • Track labor resources and project progress

  • Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities

  • Complete project-specific close-out documentation

  • Rotate through other departments within the branch office to learn about how our branch organization operates as a whole

  • Attend virtual executive discussions and events with other interns to develop a sense of what a career at Siemens is all about

To apply for the Project Management Internship Program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Majors: Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy/Sustainability and Built Environment, Computer Science, Business Administration

Electrical Service Specialists perform complex startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage electrical power systems. As an Electrical Service Specialist, you will:

  • Lead basic to complex installation and checkout of electric and electronic components for systems and service installed jobs and service agreements. Responsible for vibration analysis and metering, battery maintenance and testing, power monitoring, power quality, and protective relay maintenance.

  • Install wiring and connect to the power source. Perform emergency troubleshooting of power distribution products and third-party equipment. Perform complex service upgrades, reconditioning, retrofits, etc. for low-voltage power distribution products and systems.

  • Perform onsite technical and operational support in the design, development, installation, and maintenance of equipment and systems of a complex nature. Perform complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.

  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operation and routine inspections. Train customers to maintain and adjust complex equipment. Provide expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff and train lower-level employees. Complete and submit reports covering all job activity. Responsible for maintaining complex tools, test equipment, calibration items, etc.

  • Plan and estimate labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, and transportation expenses to complete complex proposals. Perform review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics; provide continual guidance throughout the project duration.

  • Must be available to respond to emergency and relief assignments.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED

  • 8+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical control circuits and ability to obtain thermography certification

  • 8+ years of experience with electrical testing, including but not limited to primary current injection testing, resistance testing, dielectric testing, and thermal scans on medium and low-voltage electrical systems

  • 8+ years of experience using electrical test sets to perform AC and DC high potential testing, transformer turns ratio testing, transformer power factor testing, and other power system test practices and procedures

  • On-the-job or educational experience with:

  • Interpreting protective coordination studies and testing and configuring protective relays

  • Reading bills of material, electrical blueprints, and power system study reports

  • The arc flash and shock hazards of 13.8 kV and the following electrical equipment: Siemens GIS, AIS, WL, RL, and SB breakers and switchgear

  • ANSI, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA codes and standards

As an Engineering Coordinator , you will:

  • Support Project Engineers to coordinate project deliverables with Project Engineer and Operations Center resources

  • Attend Project Manager to Engineering Service Turnover as requested/required by PE for individual projects to gather requested delivery dates and project details to ensure accurate detailed planning

  • Support PE to ensure engineering services budgets are set/in-scope, create OCWR for required services

  • Complete setup in Engineering Collaboration Tool (ECT) - Including but not limited to: Initiate project, create project structure, set milestones, tasks, dates, assignments

  • Monitor booking of agile projects for timely assignment of designated resources

  • Ensure deliverables are on-track according to set milestones and task due dates; includes monitoring and tracking of issues & opportunities as well as unresolved RFI's

  • Ensure information exchange takes place between project team and Operations Center

  • Create additional tasks in ECT to support additional engineering deliverable due to change orders

  • Ensure project assignments to the correct Operations Center

  • Ensure project SharePoint and Bluebeam folders have been created

  • Maintain alignment with restricted project requirements when applicable

  • Ensure project archive & closeout task has been completed

Field Technician/Specialist

The Technician/Specialist is the face of Siemens, and your expertise and regular interaction with the customer will help them save energy and money and create a more sustainable future for our environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet with the customers (for Service) to diagnose their HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security electronic control system malfunctions and use your expertise to maintain, repair, or (for Solutions) install new equipment; commissioning if needed.

  • Consult with our internal engineering and management team for discrepancies in our drawings or as problems arise.

Qualifications:

U.S. Military experience as an E4 or above (Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, Reserves)

  • Support Project Engineers to coordinate project deliverables with Project Engineer and Operations Center resources

  • Attend Project Manager to Engineering Service Turnover as requested/required by PE for individual projects to gather requested delivery dates and project details to ensure accurate detailed planning

  • Support PE to ensure engineering services budgets are set/in-scope, create OCWR for required services

  • Complete setup in Engineering Collaboration Tool (ECT) - Including but not limited to: Initiate project, create project structure, set milestones, tasks, dates, assignments

  • Monitor booking of agile projects for timely assignment of designated resources

  • Ensure deliverables are on-track according to set milestones and task due dates; includes monitoring and tracking of issues & opportunities as well as unresolved RFI's

  • Ensure information exchange takes place between project team and Operations Center

  • Create additional tasks in ECT to support additional engineering deliverable due to change orders

  • Ensure project assignments to the correct Operations Center

  • Ensure project SharePoint and Bluebeam folders have been created

  • Maintain alignment with restricted project requirements when applicable

  • Ensure project archive & closeout task has been completed

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or state-recognized GED

  • 2+ years of administrative experience and organizational skills

  • 2+ years of experience in queue management and collaborating with cross functional teams

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and PC skills

  • Qualified candidates must be able to work in a hybrid (onsite/remote) work environment in the Greater Dallas/Ft. Worth Metro area

  • Must be 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree

Basic Qualifications:

Siemens Industry is looking for a Customer Events Engagement Spring Intern for our Electrification and Automation division to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. This position is based in Wendell, NC.

As we expand our operations with the opening of our new Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Wendell, NC, we are excited to bring new opportunities and value to our employees and customers.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Greeting and Welcoming: Support our CEC Lead by covering the front desk and greeting visitors, clients, and employees, offering a professional and friendly welcome.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional assistance and information to all guests and employees, ensuring responsiveness and professionalism in all interactions.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

  • Reception Management: Help ensure the reception and conference center remain clean, organized, and stocked with beverages, snacks, and company swag.

  • Social Marketing: Creating, editing, and proofing CEC marketing content for internal and external channels in collaboration with marketing and Power Academy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Foundational knowledge of customer service best practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products with proficiency in MS Works, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Located in or around Wendell, NC, and able and able to report in-person onsite for work.

  • Work authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or projects planning and implementing events and marketing campaigns.

What You Can Expect:

The Sales Development Representative is Brightly's "front line" in increasing demand on the sales team. You will be tasked with qualifying new prospective clients and collaborating with other members of the sales team to achieve a smooth handoff of each opportunity. The pay range for this position is $40,000-45,000 and the annual commission target is $15,000- 25,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

This is a hybrid workplace opportunity that does require you to work onsite a minimum of 3 days each work week. While our offices are currently located in Cary, NC, we are moving to the North Hills area of Raleigh in Fall of 2024.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, or related field of study OR 1+ year of prior sales experience in lieu of degree

  • Applicants with 6 + months of previous Sales Development Representative experience can be considered at a Senior SDR level
