Position Description
Serco is Hiring Coastal Engineering Site Inspectors to support of the Federal Emergency Management AgencyPublic Assistance recovery initiatives in Zone 2 across the Midwest. The position will consist of professional and non-professional personnel to provide support to state, tribal, territorial local governments, and some private non-profits.Serco strives to providesupport quickly and efficiently to FEMA's mission by helping those effected by man-made and natural disasters
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DHS Clearance.
This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.
In this role, you will:
Review and analyze professional architectural/engineering reports and designs or as-built plans
Thoroughly document analysis in writing
Develop scopes of work, to included related code and standard requirements
Validate applicant-provided scopes of work to include related code and standard requirements
Develop and review cost estimates
Advise FEMA staff on the technical validity of claims presented under FEMA's arbitration process.
Should arbitration hearings occur, you will testify as an expert witness on FEMA's behalf
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 5 years of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) experience.
A BS in Engineering or higher
1-2 years of experience in site inspections of Large Commercial Construction infrastructures
1-2 years of experience in site Inspections in any of the following eligible types of work:
Restoration of Roads, Bridges, Water control Facilities, Buildings, Equipment, Utilities, Debris Removal, Schools, Churches, Parks, and recreation centers.
The ability to obtain and maintain FEMA Public Trust.
A United States Citizenship
The ability to maintain FEMA specific trainings
Strong Microsoft Office Skills,excellent written and oral communication skills.
The ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 24-48-hour notice after Task Order Award.
Zone 2 includes Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
The ability to go on 6-12-month deployments at a minimum.
Experience and comfortability using a Smart Phone
The ability to work independently, in a team environment and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines.
Additional desired experience and skills:
PE, CIH or comparable
Experience managing Site Inspectors
FEMA Public Assistance experience preferred
Knowledge of the FEMA Public Assistance Program/Policy
Trained in the new Public Assistance delivery model is preferred
Active FEMA badge

Position Description
Serco supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the DHA Strategic Communications Directorate which integrates, research, planning, execution, and evaluation of all Military Health System (MHS) public affairs, communications programs, and disciplines to a wide variety of key audiences at the national and global level. This includes, all military hospitals and clinical facilities, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, the Joint Staff, the Veterans Administration, and the Congress.
You will join more than 40 communications professionals whowork closely with our DOD customer, Serco teammates and other partners to deliver effective communications content for the military health community. This is an existing opportunity to work acrossmultiple communications channels and disciplines to provide a variety of media and products to decision makers and stakeholders at the operational and strategic levels.
As a Content Management Developer, you will be responsible for curating and maintaining content of pages managed by the STRATCOM Office, as well as ensuring other Military Health System (MHS) component pages have consistent look and feel as part of the MHS brand.
In Content Management Developmer role, you will:
Coordinate with DHA Health Information Technology (IT) office and other DHA-designated web masters to ensure integration of DHA and MHS messaging
Support development and promotion of an MHS comprehensive web strategy, which includes ensuring a consistent look and feel for consolidated, public-facing DHA web sites
Ensure content accuracy, adherence to style guides and submission guidelines, and functionality of navigation and links
Create new design mock-ups and final draft templates that shall be shared with the technical team under Health Information Technology for engineering and development
Work with subject matter experts (SME's) who may have little or no website experience to coordinate Web projects across departments
Collaborate across all levels of the agency to ensure new and existing content follows the site architecture and takes advantage of the content management system capabilities
Monitor and keep all web content - including multiple topic pages, reference center items, training events, calendars, and other web tools on the existing external site, and developing internal site
Respond expeditiously to requests within the content management system workflow to review content for appropriateness for external audience
Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will have:
Must be able to obtain and/or maintain a public trust clearance
A Bachelor's degree or degree with relevant experience will commensurate
2+ years relevant work experience
Relevant work experience in content management, web design, web development, writing and editing content for the web
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
Effective time management skills necessary to work on multiple projects. Must be able to meet deadlines and established timetables
Demonstrated experience and proven ability to work collegially and collaboratively with people of diverse backgrounds

This position supports a broad portfolio of Autonomous Maritime System (AMS) programs in the San Diego, CA/NIWC PAC geographic region onboard a fast-growing local team.
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance. This position is also contingent upon award of contract.
The Navigational Systems Specialist will support unmanned surface vessel operations alongside NIWC-PAC customers and team using their experiences to ensure operational success during program testing. You will Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reports to a Program Manager or head of a unit/department under limited to no supervision. This position will support onsite NIWC customer facilities in San Diego, CA.
In this role, you will:
Use experience to assist operations team with the charting, and vessel navigation through various exercises during Navy testing CONUS and OCONUS.
Provide sound and seasoned technical judgement that follows company policies and procedures in meeting customer obligations.
Assist with electrical, mechanical and network payload integration.
Develop maintenance plans and procedures.
Assist with at-sea testing of USVs and associated payload, including test plan development, test execution, and post-test analysis.
Ability to problem solve during high stress environments such as field testing in austere conditions.
Travel and at-sea watch standing will be required.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you will need:
High School Dipolma with 5+ years of technical experience with Electronic Charts Display and Information Systems (ECDIS)
Ability to obtain a DoD Secrelt level clearance post-employment is required.
A current valid U.S. passport is required.
Qualified US Navy Navigation experience
Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work with minimum supervision under a variety of conditions.
Minimum 25% travel CONUS/OCONUS
Preferred Job Requirements:
Experience in maritime operations to include unmanned surface vessels, and unmanned underwater vehicles.
Logistics experience in military and maritime maneuvers is preferred.

This SATCOM Field Service Engineer will provide On the Job Training instruction on SATCOM operations, maintenance, and repair of systems. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. In this role, you will:
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the following: AN/WSC-9(V) NMT and/or Legacy and FOT AN/USC-38 EHF (all variants) and/or GBS and/or C-12509 TDMA TIP (all variants) and/or ATIP and/or AN/WSC-6(V) SHF Communication System (all variants); and all supporting patching, cryptographic, and baseband equipment.
Provide OJT instruction on SATCOM operations, maintenance, and repair.
Develop, plan, coordinate, and conduct SOVT.
Report design, reliability, and maintenance problems to program management.
Support new system installations, integrations, and upgrades.
Install, troubleshoot, maintains and repair products/equipment.
Establish testing protocols and standards, providing training and guidance to engineers and technicians.
Test interoperability of systems, measures transmission/outputs, troubleshoots and resolves issues, and maintains detailed evaluation and repair reports.
Provide innovative solutions to complex functional problems that impact function's success.
Lead tasks, including planning, execution, staff oversight, and status reporting for significant initiatives.
Lead and direct the work of others.

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma and 9 years of experience in the field.

5 years of satellite communication (SATCOM) systems operations, maintenance, and repair in shipboard, submarine, and shore-based environments.

In this role you will:
The selected individual will be expected to perform and direct the following:Collaborate effectively with the Group finance team at Serco plc (parent) to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, including agreeing and setting up of account mappings for consolidation purposes.
Research, analyze, and provide explanations for key balance sheet and P&L account movements quarterly, and coordinate to address other queries from Serco Group Finance.Assist in the preparation of formal and well-supported accounting position papers.
Evaluate organizational strategies, transaction streams and accounting processes and implement proper accounting treatment and effective internal controls in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, Serco Accounting Policy and Compliance Requirements. Review and approve monthly key account reconciliations

Document processes, develop corresponding narratives and risk control matrices, test operating effectiveness, perform remediation as needed, and monitor overall compliance.
Collaborate effectively with affiliated corporate departments, including FP&A, IT, Facility, Human Resources,

Provide 5-year projection of key expenses to FP&A
Provide oversight and coordination for the successful completion of internal and external audits.
Be the POC for Finance and work closely with the Corporate Compliance and Legal team to ensure successful completion of ISO recertification and annual ISO audits.
Manage and coordinate all Accounting Compliance activities including annual risk assessment, internal control evaluation, design and testing.
Position will assist the controller organization in directing the organization's accounting functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining an organization's accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Oversees the preparation and evaluation of monthly account reconciliations and other financial operating reports, and presents findings and recommendations to top management.
Position manages at least one (1) other accounting professional.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:

Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting/Finance
A minimum of 7 years accounting experience
CPA is required.
Financial statements consolidation experience required.

In this role, you will:
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, and mentor other team members.
Do hands-on programming in specific technologies.
Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
Design, plan, and coordinate work teams.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of C#, ASP.NET development experience in building enterprise class web applications
Excellent knowledge of MS-SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSL, SOAP and REST APIs is a must
Strong communication and problem analysis skills to work directly with clients and business units.
US Citizenship is required
Additional desired skills and experience:
Experience working in a fast paced or agile development environment is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in computer science engineering is highly desired

CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate processes or improve transparency for analytics and decision making. In support of this effort the CNIC N6 Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Administrator will be responsible for the below listed activities. This position is based in Silverdale, WA.
As the CNIC N6 GIS Administrator you will provide GIS support services to the Regional Dispatch Center (RDC) enclave. You will be responsible for the integration, implementation, administration, patching, reporting and local cyber security implementation for all systems within the RDC. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain an enterprise spatial database, and operate associated application services to support regional CAD operations for Navy fire and police emergency responders
Collaborate with system support staff, RDC Systems Administrator, and ROC GIS staff personnel to ensure coordinated efforts between RDC and ROC mapping and GIS administration
Maintain hardware configuration files and monitor system status and performance, investigate system malfunctions to determine cause, define problems and initiate corrective action
Provide, coordinate and document hardware and software maintenance, install and provide maintenance related components
Maintain accurate records of all warranty, license and registration information
Perform image processing and data processing operations and workflows within a geospatial domain
Provide technical expertise in conjunction with NAVFAC GRC as necessary to support installation standardized addressing initiatives

Position Description

The Operations Specialist has the ability to select their home facility/location to be based out of. Serco and the Aviation Operations Specialist will coordinate selection of the home facility based on geographic location, traffic, and complexity.
Serco Inc. is a federal government contractor that provides air traffic control services at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Contract Towers (FCTs), Non-Federal Contract Towers (NFCT), Remote Air Traffic Control Towers and Ramp Control Services in 12 western states.
The Operations Specialist travels to any one of Serco's towers, many times on short notice, obtains a quick certification and then fills in as an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) or Air Traffic Manager (ATM) as needed. Extensive travel is required. Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Needs to have the ability to lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to an executive or a manager.
As an ATCS, the Operations Specialist will control air traffic on and within the vicinity of the airport according to established procedures and policies to prevent collisions and minimize delays arising from traffic congestion. They are responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious movement of air traffic through the nation's airspace. ATCS duties include:
Answering radio calls from arriving and departing aircraft
Issuing landing/takeoff instructions
Issuing information such as runway to use, wind velocity and direction, visibility, taxiing instructions, and pertinent data on other aircraft operating in vicinity
Issuing air traffic clearances
Providing advice based on their own observations and information from the National Weather - Service, IFR control facilities, flight service stations, pilots, and other sources
Taking and disseminating weather observations at Limited Aviation Weather Reporting Station (LAWRS) or Supplemental Aviation Weather Reporting Station (SAWRS) facilities
Transferring control to receiving facilities when aircraft leave their airspace and receiving control of aircraft coming into their airspace
Operating various types of equipment such as: radios, telephones, interphones, computer systems, radar, recording systems, weather equipment, light guns, airport/runway lighting systems, and backup equipment
Alerting airport emergency crews and other designated personnel when aircraft are having flight difficulties
Coordinating with and issuing instructions to airport vehicles and personnel
Maintaining and disseminating records of daily operations
Other duties as assigned

In this role, you will:
Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.
Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.
Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.
Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.
Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.
Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.
Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.
Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NOSCs throughout the region.
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role:
Must successfully undergo a background investigation (National Agency Check) and a ble to obtain a Security clearance.

This internship is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to how IT directly impacts program performance within a business through experience working within the IT service delivery model as well as the technology and processes used within the enterprise. As the IT Service Delivery Intern you will support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals, which includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
You will troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via work order) and provide end-user assistance where needed.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels.
Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's desktop computing environment.
Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or work orders regarding desktop problems.
Ensure that desktop connections, ie. network jacks are in proper working order.

As theGEODSS & Alternate JWICS Information System Security Officer (ISSO)at Socorro, New Mexico, Serco-NA, in conjunction with the newly formed United States Space Force (USSF) you will be responsible for tracking all man-made objects in orbit and responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ground-based Electro Optical Deep Space Surveillance (GEODSS) System.
This mission is vital to keeping existing satellites safe and to provide critical information to organizations launching new satellites in the future. One of the assets USSF uses to accomplish this mission is the GEODSS System.You will help operate and maintain three (3), one-meter telescopes equipped with highly sensitive digital cameras. You'll respond to Government tasking to obtain metric observations of specific objects daily and help maintain the sensors, support equipment, and the facility that houses it at Detachment 1, 21 st Operations Group (21OG), Stallion Range Center, Socorro, New Mexico.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Security Clearance.
In this role, you will:
Perform computer security assessments and implement required countermeasures, implement and maintain a site mission system, and network Cybersecurity program.
Execute cybersecurity responsibilities protecting and defending information systems by ensuring the availability, integrity, confidentiality, authentication, and non-repudiation of data through the application of cybersecurity measures.
Protect ISs and their operating system, peripherals (media and devices), applications, and the information it contains against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, or modification.
Ensure all users and ISSOs receive COMPUSEC training.
Provide information to update system Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.
Review TEMPEST packages and provide documentation for TEMPEST package updates.

Qualifications

Must have an Active DoD TS/SCI Security clearance.

In this role, you will:
Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.
Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.
Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.
Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.
Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.
Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.
Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.
Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NOSCs throughout the region.

Qualifications

Position Description

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.
Serco supports the US Government customer on a long-term contract providing broad expertise in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management. Our team provides business support and expertise to include tracking program status, monitoring cost, schedule and contract performance. You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer to deliver business expertise with an emphasis on contracts, finance, and customer service. Our managers on this team are seasoned Serco personnel who are available and responsive to ensure your success!
In this role, you will:
Assist in the execution of the Program's Budget through the creation/maintenance of spend plans, requisitions, and their supporting documents.
Coordinate financial data with appropriate Government officials such as Business Financial Managers, Program Managers, Contract Managers, Contracting Officers and Contracting Specialists.
Contribute to the maintenance of current resources to support the day-to-day mission activities.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
U.S. citizenship.
Eight (8) years of DoD, IC, or ten (10) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience in purchasing or finance.
A Bachelor's degree with a business focus OR
In lieu of a degree, Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA Level I in Business/Financial Management and three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eleven (11) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or thirteen (13) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial purchasing/finance experience may be substituted OR
In lieu of certification, an additional two (2) years of directly related experience for a total of thirteen (13) years of DoD/IC purchasing/finance experience or fifteen (15) years of combined DoD, IC and commercial experience may be substituted.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to include creating formulas and pivot tables.
Experience in the preparation of reports that reflect programs/project status in areas of cost, schedule, and performance.
Experience in budget planning, budget preparation and budget execution for acquisition programs.
Proficiency with PowerPoint to include importing Excel data into presentations.
