Summary:

The Assistant Manager partners with the Retail Manager to drive the success of the store. Assistant Managers partner with the Retail Manager in the management of talent, operations, and the brand. What you'll do:
- Provide leadership and direction to team members
- Manage store opening/closing procedures. Holds keys to the store and maintains high level of responsibility for store security and standards
- Assist with the guiding, directing, and motivating team members. Monitor sales and motivate the team to hit forecasted goals.
- Serve as Manager on Duty when needed
- Assist with the recruiting, hiring, and training of team members
- Help build product-knowledge driven sales culture, sharing your knowledge of our industry, eco-initiatives, and high-quality product to Store Team and Customers
- Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directives
- Ensure manager directives are being properly executed
- Coach and train retail associates as needed
- Complete and delegate tasks assigned by the retail manager accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate daily activities with the team
- Receive shipment, process transfers, and markdowns. Responsible for product counts and inventory monitoring.
- Complete price and promotion changes and signage
- Participate in analysis of inventory and sales reports and contribute to high level business review.
- Assists with banking, cash handling, and correctly depositing funds.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Represent Volcom brand with actions and knowledge of product
- Promote a fun, organized, efficient environment and lead by example
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- High school education or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a retail/apparel setting, including 1+ years as an Assistant Manager
- 1+ years' visual merchandising experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Volcom brand and action sports industry
- Interpersonal, customer service, and basic math & reporting skills
- Be an effective team player
- Strong people management skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong ethical behavior
- Strong computer and POS system experience
- Strong sales knowledge and ability to train

We are looking for a Mail Room Clerk to join our Volcom Costa Mesa team!
This is a full-time position with the following schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Receive, sort, deliver and ship all incoming and outgoing mail
Handle all shipping needs for FedEx and USPS including: determine best method for shipping, calculating and applying postage and maintaining proper documentation
Insure that all paperwork is properly filled out before shipping including, assigning proper GL's for each shipment, ensuring proper authorization signature is attachment to shipments when required, and creating commercial invoices for international shipments
Deliver all packages to employees and departments
Manage all shipping records
Manage inventory and ordering of mail room supplies including office supplies company wide
Receive FedEx invoices, match with correct GL and distribute for payment
Manage employee orders
Assist VSM with shipping including: ensuring proper methods for shipping are applied, informing team with any changes in shipping methods for possible savings
Assist with facilities related duties as requested or needed
Special Projects as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to lift and move more than 50 pounds as needed
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 100lbs
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time
Full circle expense a plus
Prior Mail Room experience a plus but not required
Excellent computer skills in the MS Office suite
Excellent communication skills a must
Must be able to work in a team environment
All hours are required to be worked from our Costa Mesa location

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Work under the Men's Global Design Director and learn about the complete design process from start to finish. Assisting in CAD design, tech packs, organizing samples and catalog descriptions.
Experience the on-site daily life of an apparel designer working with many cross-functional teams within the brand towards the ultimate goal of building industry leading product.
Work with the Global Art Manager to create seasonal color cards as directed
Expand on existing skills of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and how it is used in the field.
Sit in on department meetings, such as Style Out, CAD Review, etc. to observe how a season develops throughout the semester
Learn the basic of Centric PLM to add and update catalog descriptions
Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead a team in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts (Detailed P&Ls for all cost centers); support the planning and analysis of working capital (Capital Expenditures, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow); analyze variances & business trends; and perform ad-hoc financial analysis as necessary.
Support all Americas profit centers with recurring duties:
Build, review and validate the Americas rolling sales forecast
Forecast and review actuals for all sales and margin items and direct operating expenses
Maintain forecasting models to support the budget vs actuals review and provide rolling forecasts to support business decisions
Lead in the preparation and presentation of all business review schedules to the management team including commentary for MD&A
Additional supporting tasks include (but not limited to):

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or closely related field. Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
5+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial planning & analysis, or related finance field.
Experience with financial forecasting (revenue, full P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Knowledge of accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting principles and practices.
Planful (a.k.a. Host Analytics), HFM or other EPM experience required.
Full Circle ERP experience a plus.
Power BI or other business intelligence software experience a plus.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Strong data-mining capabilities.

We are looking for a Global Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! This position will report to the Director of Global FP&A; lead in the preparation of consolidated annual budgets and financial forecasts; analyze variances & business trends; and perform ad-hoc financial analysis as necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist in the global development of annual budgets, forecasts and three-year plans
Coordinate the development of annual budgets worldwide.
Ensure that all information provided by subsidiaries is compiled appropriately and accurately into the consolidated Annual Budget/Financial Forecast/Three Year Plan.
Manage budgets in company's EPM system.
Partner with the Global department owners and help them manage their expenses within company guidelines

Summary:

The Visual Merchandising Supervisor partners with the Store Manager and District Manager to drive the success of the store through execution of visual merchandising. What you'll do:
- Execute and maintain merchandising standards for men's, women's, and kid's clothing and accessories
- Travel to and support new store openings by executing brand visual standards
- Maintain floor appearance by receiving, checking, and shelving merchandise
- Maintain store cleanliness by keeping areas organized and uncluttered
- Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and corporate directives
- Partners with Store and District Manager on key visual merchandising decisions that have an impact on store workload and sales.
- Execute store opening and closing procedures and be highly responsible for the store keys and security measures
- Give basic coaching to Retail Associates as needed
- Help build product-knowledge driven sales culture, sharing your knowledge of our industry, eco-initiatives, and high-quality product to Associates and Customers
- Represent Volcom brand with actions and knowledge of product
- Inform customers of current sales and promotions
- Collaborate with your team and delegate as needed to complete assigned tasks
- Contribute to a fun, organized, efficient environment and lead by example
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1-2 year(s) experience with visual merchandising in an apparel store
- Strong visual merchandising skills and excellent eye for detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and interpret visual merchandising tools and direction
- Ability to offer solutions to store specific visual and merchandising challenges using brand standards and HQ direction as a guideline
- Ability to identify potential Visual Merchandising opportunities and provide creative solutions.
- Familiarity with the Volcom brand and action sports industry
- Be an effective team player
- Strong ethical behavior

Job Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Flexible schedule; ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to transport and position a maximum of 50 lbs
- Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
- Ability to stand (or remain in a stationary position) for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with customers, store team, and corporate
