About the Role
In this role, you will engage and connect with our customers by providing excellent customer service. You will be an expert in product and use this expertise to educate, inform, inspire and outfit the customer. You will offer information to the customer on current merchandise assortment, store promotions and events, and execute operational processes effectively and efficiently. Your goal is to bring our brand to life for our customers while building brand loyalty and delivering with productivity.
What You'll Do
Acknowledge and assist customers; locate merchandise efficiently using various methods; answer questions quickly and accurately
Offer style and outfit suggestions to the customer, utilizing mannequins and displays for inspiration
Promote loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs
Leverage omni channel offerings to deliver a frictionless customer experience
Support sales floor, fitting room, check out, and back of house processes, as required
Courteous and responsive to internal/external request
Exchange and verifies job related information to provide support

About the Role
The Corporate Controller's Group is the central finance organization within Gap Inc. that is responsible for the several functions related to the financial reporting and close process, including Technical Accounting. Through research and analysis, critical thinking, and partnership with the business, we support key financial decisions and the issuance of the financial statements for our company. The Technical Accounting team reports to the Corporate Controller.
As a Manager on the Technical Accounting team, you will be responsible for researching technical accounting issues and providing guidance and support to business partners across all Gap Inc. brands (Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta) and support functions, as well as working with Treasury on the accounting related to our hedging programs. Track and document significant accounting issues in a clear and concise manner.
Responsible for the journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses related to our hedging programs (ASC 815).
Communicate with business partners across all brands and functions to ensure technical accounting issues are identified and resolved.
Assist in developing streamlined processes and serve as a liaison with business partners outside of the Corporate Controller's Group to promote teamwork and collaboration across the organization.
Liaise with business partners and auditors during quarterly and annual reporting to ensure accounting issues are accurately reported in financial statements
As part of Gap Inc.'s Power Plan, participate in special projects related to significant transactions and other financial reporting matters as needed
Assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements and collaborate with business partners to drive their company-wide implementation.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA required

The successful candidate will be required to understand the larger business strategy while overseeing the implementation details of new imagery standards, technologies and equipment. In this role the qualified candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a team of photographers working in a high-volume, fast-paced photo studio. Based in our San Francisco, CA corporate office, the Junior Marketing Production Artist for Digital reports to the Manager of Digital Graphic Production. In this role, the Marketing Production Artist is responsible for the accuracy and quality of digital design files before their publication. About the Role
In this position, you will support a continuous improvement culture that will maximize capabilities and efficiencies in our distribution centers. You will Try Fast, Learn Fast and Think Big as you develop, implement, maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and property maintenance. You will identify and effectively troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems while making sound decisions to effectively eliminate downtime.
What You'll Do
Identify and troubleshoot solutions that impact facility product flow
Perform all major repairs/tasks using shop equipment: band saw, Arc and Mig welders, Torch, Hydraulic Press, drill press, lift equipment etc..
Function as a lead technician in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor
Subject matter expert of all DC technology, systems, and process flows
Maintain and troubleshoot all HVAC equipment in the facility
Perform all conveyor, forklift and electrical maintenance
Listen and ask questions to solicit feedback to understand needs and provide service
Who You Are
Strong technical knowledge of MHE, electrical (PLC) and automation in a distribution center environment
Ability to work, plan, and prioritize independently and in a cross functional team
Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills inclusive of exercising good judgement
Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
