You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.
You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What you'll bring to the table:
An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
EPA Universal
Refrigeration Certification or Degree preferred
You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required
You must be able to attend our industry leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH

ITW Commercial Construction encompasses the leading brands of BuildexR (TeksR, SammysR), Red Head (TruBoltR, TapconR), Ramset (TrakfastR), and PNA (Diamond DowelR) with an overall history dating back to 1910.
Load and unload local trucks, generate packing slips to make shipments to local suppliers for secondary operations.
Move and final out production orders from manufacturing lines
Check paperwork to determine accuracy. If there are no discrepancies, enter into system.
Generate transfer orders and make inter-plant shipments.
Move materials and product between the scale/dock and operators.
Move materials/products in plant as required.
Once incoming product has passed inspection, put away product in proper location.
Handle daily UPS shipment.
Check forklift in the AM to assure that it is in proper operational condition.
Schedule and perform weekly cycle counts.
Weigh and dump daily production scrap using the provided software.
Report discrepancies and use 5-Why to analyze root cause
Take preventative and corrective actions on inventory inaccuracy
Maintain housekeeping in the common areas and dock areas.

High School Diploma / GED, preferred
1-3 related years' experience

Successfully complete supplemental training (i.e. blueprint reading, technical math, and measurement tools) Ability to pass level proficiency test within 12 months
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, within typical manufacturing working conditions. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be exposed to fumes, heat and dust, climate variances and moving mechanical equipment typically found in a manufacturing environment. This manufacturing plant is not air conditioned. The noise level in the work environment is high when exposed to the manufacturing areas. Certain personal protective equipment is required when in the manufacturing areas. Having to work or come in off-shift may be required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to walk, stand, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to sit. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Summary:
The Batch Maker is responsible for the preparation of batches to meet standards and specifications, while utilizing forklifts, mixers, tanks, and other manufacturing machinery.
Core Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of mixing/blending equipment.
Follow instructions on batch cards and job tickets to perform duties.
Move 55-gallon drum to 5-gallon pails to production lines, manually or with use of proper equipment.
Make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
Setup, change over, and cleanup machines and work area daily.
Ensure batch quality and integrity meet production standards.
Deliver batch samples and required documentation to QA lab.
Work with hazardous materials and wear all required personal protective equipment. Full mask respirator may be required for select batches.
Move material through facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc..) as required.
Maintains material handling equipment by completing daily pre-use inspections.
Complies with safety and hazardous material handling regulations.
Understands and monitors the Kan-ban inventory system. Performs cycle counting and stock verification.
Maintain hazardous waste inspections and disposal/storage requirements.
Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper sorting and use.
Follow all Company safety procedures, company polices, and good housekeeping practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Objective:
To ensure the proper installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, programming and qualification of ITW Drawform's computer-controlled systems and robotic devices while also troubleshooting any issues that might occur. Knowledge of PLCs, controls, pneumatics, vision, sensors, mechanical actuators and computers are used to maintain and repair automation equipment.

. Support engineering and plant staff with the specification, installation and modification of systems.
. Inspect and review manufacturing equipment installations for design and troubleshooting purposes.
. Ensure machines are properly calibrated.
. Perform routine, preventative maintenance on equipment including mechanical & electrical.
. Assess the condition of the device through documentation, inspection and testing in order to maintain the device's performance and determine the need for any repairs.
. Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, vision, sensors, leak testers, conveyance systems, and control components to maintain proper functionality of the equipment.
. Maintain washer systems as needed.
. Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality.
. Periodically report to leadership regarding automation capabilities and equipment status.
. Maintain applicable knowledge of all essential automation functions.
. Assist in acquiring and maintaining essential and consumable maintenance supplies and inventories.
. Train production personnel on operation, adjustment, handling , and replacement of equipment used within the production systems.
. Assist other maintenance personnel with their duties as directed.
. Operate all equipment safely.

The person in this role will perform a variety of duties associated with the dispatching functions in order to provide prompt and efficient service to our customers. There will be frequent contact with Branch employees and constant contact with customers and other outside personnel, requiring more than ordinary courtesy and tact to establish and maintain good customer relations. You will have occasional work with confidential data where the effect of any disclosure may have an impact on the business.
General Duties:
Answer all incoming telephone service requests and log customer service calls with all pertinent information in system.
Schedule service calls to techs and supply information needed by Service Tech, and determine priorities to be assigned to service calls.
Maintain follow up system for parts ordered by Service Techs to ensure complete customer satisfaction per company policies and guidelines.
Maintain Inspection List, Automatic Scale. Wrapper and General Line.
Maintain File of Equipment.This could include calling customers concerning estimates for overhauls, prices for new equipment, and completion of services.
Perform clerical functions, as necessary, such as assisting with tracking of consignment, assisting walk-in customers, shipping/receiving, handling phone calls for supervisor, etc.
Train or cross train other employees as requested.
Follow up on completed service calls to verify customer satisfaction and promote service contracts.
Print out and mail invoices
Do 3rd party billing
Schedule PM's
Prepare quotes for repairs.

About the opportunity:
The Installation team lead will be responsible for overseeing a crew in the installation of various components for food equipment to include adjusting, aligning, assembling, calibrating, inspecting, lubricating and testing of commercial food prep equipment, electrical/mechanical and electronics troubleshooting The selected candidate will comply with all applicable service policies and procedures, maintain frequent contact with the office to receive service assignments and review service problems with advisor, or manager. Must be available for overtime and on-call schedule.
Some of the key activities that you will perform in this role are:
Work on-site to set up, program, dismantle and reconstruct equipment when necessary
Contact customers prior to installation date to verify schedule
Provide guidance and coaching to installers as it relates to work assignments: specific work steps, proper use of tools, machinery and overall job performance
Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in products and service; provide superior customer service by working out solutions in the best interest of the customer
Maintain vehicle inventory and appearance
What you'll bring to the table:

6+ years of experience in commercial install experience

The Service Manager will provide support to the District Manager and will be required to assume advanced responsibilities in support of the branch and its daily operations. This position will provide support in the terms of the overall branch and individual service technicians by providing coaching and training on commercial food equipment, procedures, and techniques as well as customer facing skillsets.
The Service Manager will also be required to support and enforce all company policies and guidelines required by Hobart Service and assist the District Manager in the adherence and tracking of these policies. The Service Manager is accountable for assisting in leading and directing their assigned branch operations to achieve ongoing service revenue growth, profitability, productivity, quality, and service levels.
This position will be responsible for assisting the management and administration of general business operations for their branch. This position provides strategic leadership as well as the day to day management of a team of Field Service Technicians and lower-level supervisory staff (where applicable).
Responsibilities include developing, maintaining and managing a highly technical field service team. Our Field Service Technicians are accountable for customer commercial food service equipment installations, preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades and updates, sales support for new systems, establishing and growing customer relationships, and creating and implementing a strategy focused on achieving/exceeding financial and customer satisfaction results. In addition, this position is responsible for continued employee development and increasing employee retention and engagement levels. Manage regular maintenance for service vehicles.
High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, including supervision OR 1-3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree
Experience effectively managing customer relations dealing directly with customers
Ability to effectively demonstrate productivity tools, i.e. Microsoft Office
Achieve targets and goals with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills verbal and written
Electrical and mechanical service experience
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years demonstrated proficiency in a field service role
Ability to understand financial information such as margins, labor cost, mark-ups and expense control

Travel daily to customer sites to perform a variety of services including calibration, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation, on a wide range of Instron's products.

You will have regional responsibility for servicing customers in the Southern Indiana and West of Louisville, KY area in the following industries: bio-medical, composite and industrial.

Prior field service experience strongly preferred.

This is a Tampa, FL based position under the direction of Install Team Leader and Service Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with equipment installations and maintenance as required. The candidate will assist with the assembly of equipment and inspect for proper operation, uncrating and moving of equipment into position. The individual will be responsible for driving service and delivery truck to the intended destination to deliver or pick up equipment with the use of a lift-gate. Must also assist other Branch employees and Service Technicians as required. Must be willing to work hours as needed.
What you'll bring to the table:
High School diploma/GED or related experience
1-2 year minimum experience in related field.
Be able to work with mechanical/electrical equipment safely
Basic Knowledge of Welding, Hydraulics and/or Electrical Skills
Understand How to Troubleshoot Mechanical Problems
Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge
Basic knowledge of CO2 and Freon
Basic knowledge of moving tools and equipment
Customer Service skills- resolving customer issues. ensuring appropriate communication with customers and following up on customer requests
Required to manage expense reports and travel budgets.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance
Climbing up to 8 ft with ladder. Working on roofs of building will be required
Extensive driving 5-6 hours/day
Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling
Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions
Will need to be able to travel for overnight and multiple day job assignments.

You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required
