The Automation Equipment Product Manager will manage the Automation product solution portfolio, playing a key role in driving top-line growth as well as bottom-line operating income using the ITW toolbox. The successful individual will be part of a Welding Automation team that includes both weld process and product development resources, as well as market-facing resources who provide deep customer understanding.
The product solution portfolio includes automation welding equipment and wire feeders including Auto-Continuum, Hercules, Cobot equipment packages, OptiDrive, and future new products in this category. This individual will be responsible for the growth and market performance of these product platforms. These efforts will deliver solutions that enable the division and external sales teams to grow market share through targeted selling and core market expansion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Drive appropriate visionary and strategic category initiatives in accordance with established long range and annual plans
Be a key leader by accelerating organic growth by focusing on our targeted Lever 1 & 2 accounts, and the go-to-market (GTM) strategies for automated welding:
Collaborate with Corporate Account Managers to aggressively capture market share within in targeted welding automation segments and key customers.
Define and communicate Power MessagingTM value propositions that clearly address the -Why change, Why now, Why ITW, Why stay, and Why evolve- messaging frameworks.
Represent business at customer visits, industry events and tradeshows
Collaboratively develop and execute strategic product roadmap driving profitable growth through sustainable competitive advantage that aligns with long-range plans for the Automation portfolio.
Responsible for successful launch and commercialization of new products using creative tactics to communicate and promote solutions to end user market and channel partners, including integrators and robotic OEM's
Collaborate with Automation Business Development Manager, Marketing and Engineering to ensure Lever 3 opportunities are appropriate to drive above average market share growth:
Collaborate to generate, analyze, and interpret segment data (VOC) that leads to product line rationalization from sources including industry trends, customer interviews, market research activities and competitive pressures
Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, service and appropriate division personnel to execute new product development activities
Improve category profitability and position the division for continued success:
Direct P&L responsibility; analyze, manage and report on product/category pricing, sales performance, PLS evaluations
Implement winning go-to-market strategy to achieve competitive advantage

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of industry experience (Welding, or related field and relevant work experience preferred)
Solid understanding of welding technology and associated value propositions:
Weld processes, equipment power sources, feeders, filler metal solutions, guns
Demonstrated success in leading high-level projects with cross-functional teams including engineering, materials, manufacturing and sales teams
Must be a team player with a positive attitude, high motivation, and solid decision-making abilities
Proven ability to analyze current business issues, end-user needs
Well organized, aggressive self-starter with the willingness to learn and grow.
Ability to establish plans based independently with from external and internal inputs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Comfortable presenting and facilitating before groups
Expected travel is up to 40%

Position Summary:
The Deltar Fasteners Account Manager for will be responsible for providing sales and account management for Toyota and related tiers. They will report to the Regional Sales Manager with additional support and guidance from OEM Global Key Account managers. Account Manager will be responsible to grow existing accounts, develop new accounts and establish strong contacts with customers. Initiates, and follow up on new product development opportunities and growth opportunities to support the division.
Location: Troy, MI.
Primary Responsibilities:
. Along with the Sales Manager and Product Manager, establishes the goals for customer penetration to ensure growth with core type products on selected Focused Platform launches.
. Leverage local & global market knowledge to focus on growing products and introduce new ones applying an -outside - in- ITW discipline.
. Nurtures customer relationships that provide insight and a landscape where ITW has a competitive advantage through our -cradle to grave- relationships.
. Ownership of comprehensive market research aligned with the strategic growth priorities, to understand the market niche and growth opportunities within the ITW products.
. Maintains a continuing analysis of product reports for each of the products that the Product Manager will own.
. Takes ownership on products on future Focused Platforms within the Long Range Planning periods.
. Works with Regional Sales Manager and Global counterparts to develop local growth opportunities by leveraging Global portfolio to proliferate opportunities that may be new to our region but still fit within our product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.
. Develops and maintains benchmarking tools for vehicle areas and associated products.
. Work closely with global Key Account Manager and colleagues from other global regions.

- Bachelor's degree - B.A. /B.S. from four-year College; Master's Degree a plus
- Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience in the automotive industry
- Sales experience with Japanese OEMs (ie: Toyota, Nissan, Honda), proven track record of product knowledge including plastic fasteners a plus.
- Requires overall knowledge of all areas of the vehicle - interior/exterior, body/chassis, doors, fluid and electrical routing
- Ability to develop project budgets where cost, value and profit are fully understood. Supports Sales Manager and team with product forecasts such as Monthly /Quarterly reporting as well as in times of Capacity management, Long Range Plan and Annual Plan.

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for working with sales, customer service, finance, and the product engineering teams to determine competitive market prices for the StampTech Fastener's products. The incumbent will evaluate product quality, competitor pricing and assess customer input to ensure products are priced appropriately and competitively. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for working with the sales teams to establish sales prices and long-term pricing strategies.
Serves as the primary leader for pricing activities relating to the division.
Partners on long-range and annual plan development with the commercial, finance and product engineering teams.
Analyzes pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, competitors, and reports data to decision-makers
Develop measurement tools to identify changing market trends and Identifies marketing strategies to increase profits
Leads the forecasting, pacing, planning of price of the StampTech Fasteners division.
Owns the price data tables and processes, with a focus on continuous improvement using USA tools
Ensure alignment between sales, customer service, accounting of price update status
Ensure the accuracy of the ERP & CRM systems relating to price data and update the ERP & Saphran system with new PO/pricing
Coordinate pricing update of systems (ERP & CRM) & POs for index movements and new agreements
Solicit, gather, and update matrix with index pricing
Able to demonstrate business acumen while using analytics, technical writing, large amounts of data to make business recommendation or decisions.
Able to do mathematical analyses and extensive research to solve or complex problems
Update customer price lists by part number with new index information.Communicate new price lists to customers and gather and approve updated POs against price lists.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree - B.A. /B.S. from four-year College or University with a concentration in mathematics, finance, accounting, or statistics.
1 or more years of experience with pricing or related experience

This position is responsible for safely moving raw material & finished goods throughout the Plant and keeping a steady production flow. The operator plays a critical role in ensuring proper material identification and over-all Plant organization of materials to include all warehouse and production areas. MUST follow all Safety Instruction & processes.
Move raw material to production lines & warehouse as needed.
All material must be properly packaged and identified prior to movement.
Return all unused material at the end of a production run to the warehouse storage area.
Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with Factory Order instructions.
Work with Line Support Associate to resolve any packaging issues. Inform Supervisor of any packaging issues.
Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe warehouse. Maintain orderly arrangement of scrap skids, boxes, and Cans In Process (CIPs).
Support quality assurance (QA) in maintaining a clean and orderly Hold for Inspection (HFI) area.
Maintain all shipping/warehouse equipment and inform warehouse manager of any equipment problems. This includes lift truck fuel and oil levels, in addition to radiator liquids.
Empty all scrap and garbage bins regularly throughout shift.
Follow FIFO procedure. Keep material stock rotated as necessary.
Keep work areas clean.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) AT ALL TIMES.
Work as team members with the other line employees
Support troubleshooting, problem solving, root cause analysis, and related process improvement activities.
Uphold 5-S principles.
Help in Warehouse as needed.

This is a new role within ITW Sexton that will be responsible for parts related to an innovative and specialized product. The Toolmaker will produce quality parts through efficient development of transfer press tooling coupled with proper maintenance of tooling, presses and peripheral equipment for an assigned press, cell, or group of presses. The incumbent will offer logical and user-friendly solutions to everyday problems.
Complete tool development, maintenance, and management for assigned presses and cells, including robots, washers, conveyors and dies.
Format presses to produce parts within required tolerances and optimal efficiency and recognize and correct both typical and unusual die, press and cell problems.
Contribute die design concepts for the dual purpose of developing new tooling and upgrading existing tooling.
Prepare and assist Maintenance and Press Operators with changeovers while supporting the improvement of changeover efficiency.
Oversee the layout and inspection of tooling before placing it into a press including necessary tool sharpening and polishing.
Organize and update tool books as needed.
Operate toolroom equipment efficiently to produce all necessary tooling and ensure standard, quality parts come off each assigned press/cell.
Train transfer press operators and die setters to comply with all quality standards.
Understand and incorporate use of S.P.C.
Pull tooling when required.
Know the type and proper mixture of drawing and machine lubricants for each assigned job and remove or replace drawing lubricants on presses as required.
Troubleshoot minor hydraulic and electrical press/cell problems to achieve maximum productivity.
Work cross functionally across different shifts to keep dies and tools ready to meet production and quality needs including working on seamer tooling and ordering it as needed.
Troubleshoot dimensional issues and adjust for optimal run conditions in press to support production schedule.
Demonstrate good short- and long-term decision making and judgement in pressroom trouble shooting, toolroom machining practices, safety, diagnosis of problems and course of action, and toolroom repair and maintenance work.
Perform other duties as required.
High School diploma or GED required.
Machine Tooling degree or related certificate desired and/or minimum 3 years' working experience as a Toolmaker in a shop floor setting.
Journeyman status a plus.
Able to lift approximately 20 - 40 pounds on a regular basis.

Primary Objective:
Coordinates materials availability, operations labor resources, documentation to create production plans that are achievable and meet project, order and customer requirements. Ensures MRP schedules are accurate and current. Ensures alignment of MRP with other system modules. Monitors production execution throughout the manufacturing cycle to meet requirements.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Reviews, verifies and adjusts MRP level production schedules generated by project and order schedules to accommodate labor capacity, and the availability/lead time of materials, space and documentation while maximizing achievement of customer/project/order schedule requirements.
Coordinates and schedules -walk-in- work requests to minimize disruption to scheduled work while meeting priorities of all demand types.
Monitors parts availability and expedites when necessary to meet production schedules.
Ensures MRP information is maintained, including but not limited to the following.
-Scheduled dates are correct and current
-BOM reflects latest changes.
-Manual dates usage reflects planning policy
-Notifies work group supervisor in advance when future demand does not align with capacity and schedules cannot be adapted to accommodate the difference.
-Assists in balancing labor demand among different groups when needed.
Develops and recommends project/order schedule changes when current plan cannot be met.
Leads corrective action when schedules cannot be executed as planned.
Develops and implements engineering change notification plan as assigned by Master Data/EOC controller, including but not limited to:
-Coordinate MRP order and BOM changes
-Schedules and coordinates rework
-Validate implementation is complete.
Monitors and reports status or schedule change to internal customers.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of MTS products, manufacturing methods and scheduling systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field is preferred.
In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 2-year Associates degree with 5+ years of Production and Capacity planning of multi-level assemblies.
Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
2+ years planning experience using SAP or Oracle and proven experience working as a production planner.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

The Electrical Manufacturing Engineering responsibilities include planning and executing the electrical design and implementation tasks related to the carrier manufacturing process across Hi-Cone's four manufacturing plants. Basic Description:
A candidate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting support, and administering warranties for Miller, Hobart, and Enpak engine driven products. A candidate must be a self-starter, team player, and possess the ability to make quick independent decisions. A strong background in reading electrical schematics and performing electrical troubleshooting is preferred. A basic knowledge of welding processes, air compressor systems, and engines is a plus.
Essential Functions:
-Handle phone calls on a repetitive basis relating to the service, repair, and application of the product
-Create service files in service warranty to effectively administer warranty claims; repair and test of returned equipment from the field
-Travel to customer locations for technical support of the product
-Participate on product development teams and product support projects
-Assist product engineering in evaluation of returned equipment and parts to continually improve reliability and to ultimately reduce warranty

The HR Generalist will provide day-to-day professional HR support across the division. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in an HR Generalist role.

Job Summary
We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Intern to join our team in Troy, Ohio. This position reports to the Controller of Sales and Marketing. The candidate's start date will vary depending on their availability. The selected candidate will work directly with the Controller and other individuals in the Hobart Sales & Marketing finance department. This role will teach the candidate the basics of corporate accounting and they will assist with different aspects of accounting, including preparing and recording journal entries, prepare account reconciliation, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. They will also learn how to generate reporting from our sales incentive database. The position will require frequent contact with both internal and external personnel that will require professionalism, courtesy, and tact. The position requires a highly organized individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The individual will be a self-starter, capable of independent work and possess attention to detail, focusing on accuracy.
Responsibilities/Projects
Assist with accounting month-end closing procedures including posting journal entries
Reconciling general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Document processes as they are illustrated
Assist accounting and finance leadership team with ad-hoc accounting and sales reporting projects and requests
Learn how to transfer old reporting to Microsoft's Power BI
Work with the accounting team with annual plan efforts
Assist with management of sales incentive database
Assist the Accounting Manager with preparation of rebate files on an as needed basis
Shadow members of the Accounting Department to learn their roles within the department
Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, with a major in Accounting or Finance. The individual must be a Junior or Senior and have a 3.2 GPA or above.

DIVISION DESCRIPTION :
ITW Specialty Films designs, manufactures and markets specialized coated and/or metalized films for the Card, Security, and Medical markets. The division leverages unique core competencies and technologies in films, foils, laminates, holography, and transfers to address customer needs globally. Operates in 5 locations (NA & EU).
Perform duties to set up and operate a variety of machine tools, ability to make electrical repairs, as well as installing, maintaining or rebuilding a variety of production and building equipment, applying knowledge of electronics, shop mathematics, electrical and metal properties, and machining procedures. Work from work orders, blueprints, electrical diagrams, equipment manuals and instructions. Applies knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Machine new or damaged parts, fit and align components to exacting requirements.
Diagnose equipment problems, disassemble, determine extent of repairs, requisition or make parts, assemble equipment and make necessary operating adjustments.
Perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects before machines fail.
Plan sequence of machining operations, select materials and layout materials as required. Must be able to do own layout work.
Install and repair variety of electrical equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications.
Ability to layout complex control circuitry. Ability to select material and prepare wiring diagrams.
Ability to test, detect and diagnose defective components.
Ability to replace faulty electrical components of machine, such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices.
Perform associated electrical work and/or plumbing work required for maintenance and repair of pumps and other similar equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Associate or technical degree or higher in electrical engineering, electrical systems, instrumentation, electronic technology.
Four years of electrical/electronic or instrument and control troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Bosch and Parker PLC's.
Proficient working with industrial controls: PLC, HMI, instrumentation networking, communication, power distribution, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, and/or industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure and temperature.
Proficient with MicroMain and/or MP2.
Must be familiar with lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, 3-phase power and equipment, AC / DC drives and process controls.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
Ability to follow manuals, schematic diagrams, electrical code and blueprints plans, sketches, models and oral or written instructions and to exercise judgment in determining techniques and methods.
Experience with computer operating systems, networks, and electronic information handling.
HVAC experience a plus
Considerable knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods and standard practices of the machinist's trade.
Considerable knowledge of the maintenance and repair of machine shop tools and equipment.
Must be willing and able to work any shift, overtime, weekends, on-call hours and holidays.

DIVISION DESCRIPTION :
ITW Specialty Films designs, manufactures and markets specialized coated and/or metalized films for the Card, Security, and Medical markets. Assist Press Operators in all phases of press operation, including lab testing and press set-up. Learn pressroom operations, develop skills to improve operations, reduce scrap, and improve quality and on-time delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Train and develop skills needed for stand-alone press operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITITES:
Assist Press Operator in pulling sheets, making machine adjustments and some QC functions.
Pull film through press during set up. Assist with registration of film.
Learn quality testing procedures.
Qualify production run against color, physical characteristics and weight specifications by testing in lab.
Pull sample templates from sheets to assist in color matching. Assist in making adds per instruction from color matchers.
Monitor viscosities of on-line inks.
Assist Press Operator in troubleshooting product and equipment problems.
Review shop orders for necessary materials and jobs. Obtain and set up press cylinders.
Perform change-overs including removal of previous job cylinders from press and store in proper location and drain inks. Check cylinder sizes, load cylinders in press, check ink viscosity, adjust as needed and pour in ink fountain. Load bulk rolls on unwind stand and prepare roll.
Operate forklift, hoist, and Big Joe to obtain or remove cylinders and materials from the pressroom. Safely obtain solvents from tank farm.
Ensure that on-line vats/drums are covered and grounded.
Operate high speed mixer for mixing or adjusting inks based on job specs. Test and adjust viscosity of solvents.
Perform data entry in shop floor computer system to maintain accurate inventory due to transfer of finished goods and reporting ink and film usage.
Assist in reducing scrap by monitoring web and identifying defects per Operator instructions.
Remove and label solvents and solids for disposal per instructions.
Maintain cleanliness of press area, including washing and cleaning ink pans, splash guards and flow bars, etc.
POSITION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED.
Ability to push/pull 90-100 lbs. and lift 50 pounds.
Ability to use Forklift, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
1-2 years experience using common hand tools to adjust and troubleshoot machines and tape measures. Some machine operation experience preferred.
Self-motivated, able to follow directions, and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work flexible shifts.
Good verbal communication skills to interact with other departments, write business notes, read product specifications, schedules, etc.

Key tasks may include:
Develop basic understanding of assigned commodities: current market conditions, key cost drivers, global supply base, and industry terminology, as it relates to creating competitive purchasing programs for ITW companies.
Conduct broad market research to identify world class suppliers for the different commodities to be sourced.
Identify sourcing opportunities to drive savings and cost avoidance via spend analysis, stakeholder interviews, and market trends.
Quantify the benefits of sourcing initiatives including the expected savings and baseline spend.
Influencing key stakeholders on strategy initiatives.
Partner across the organization to improve financial results related to sourcing activities.
Utilize project management skills to create timeline, set milestones, measure progress, and report findings to team.
Work as part of a cross-functional team that includes members from other Corporate ITW teams such as Spend Management and Trade Compliance.
Rising Junior or Senior year in college student pursuing degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering. Minimum GPA 3.0. Recent graduates also considered.
Strong MS Excel skills, including V-lookup, H-lookup and indexing functions, pivot tables and graphs. Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional team.
Resourceful and able to work independently.
Must be detail-oriented and able to cleanse large sets of data (identifying mistakes in address field assignments, etc.).
Present your accomplishments, lessons learned, and insights in briefings to Strategic Sourcing leaders.
This internship is approximately 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, with flexible start and end dates within the range of May-September.

You will work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment to include cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh wrap, baking and refrigeration.
You will typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
You will meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What you'll bring to the table:
An accredited High School Diploma or GED and 0-2 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience
You must have a valid Driver's License and ability to drive multiple hours daily
You should be able to work Overtime and On-Call as required
You must be able to attend our industry leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH
