Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Energy Project Manager to join our growing Energy Team.
This position will perform project management and support technical tasks on a variety of projects including renewable generation, energy storage, building electrification & associated electrical upgrades, and may involve transmission and distribution (T&D) components. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of managing and executing energy projects through due diligence, design, construction, and testing/commissioning phases.
The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Interface regularly with the clients to identify project needs, communicate engineering solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in the coordinated successful execution of projects
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the execution of projects
Identifying and supporting the development and communication of changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs to minimize risk
Reporting and escalating project issues to management as needed
Maintaining project documentation control
Develop cost estimates to determine ROM on a variety of project types (e.g., renewable generation assets, energy storage, T&D upgrades, building upgrades)
Write technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
Review or originate energy production modeling
Developing and maintaining good client relationships across the portfolio
Lead and support the development of technical proposals.
Training others to learn project management skills
Help recruit and build a team of professionals to support the growth strategy
High proficiency within Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel
Occasional travel within the United States may be required
Work in a team environment (virtual and periodically in office)
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related field + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid US Driver's License and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related field
3+ years experience in implementing or managing planning, design, and/or construction projects for energy/sustainability projects with utilities and/or complex buildings or campuses
Familiarity or experience in developing or working within Project Management Offices (PMO) to deliver complex projects
Advanced degree in a technical, sustainability, or business field
Ability to generate or review engineering design packages for renewable or HVAC designs
Experience developing solutions or working with a variety of industry software packages (e.g., power system modeling software, building automation analytics platforms)
EIT or PE license
PMP or CAPM certification

AECOM is seeking an experienced Energy Project Manager to join our growing Energy Team.
This position will perform project management and support technical tasks on a variety of projects including renewable generation, energy storage, building electrification & associated electrical upgrades, and may involve transmission and distribution (T&D) components. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of managing and executing energy projects through due diligence, design, construction, and testing/commissioning phases.

Create electrical engineering designs and contract documents under the supervision of an experienced professional engineer.
Design new modifications to existing medium and low voltage electrical power distribution systems.

AECOM is seeking an experienced Energy Project Manager to join our growing Energy Team.
This position will perform project management and support technical tasks on a variety of projects including renewable generation, energy storage, building electrification & associated electrical upgrades, and may involve transmission and distribution (T&D) components. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of managing and executing energy projects through due diligence, design, construction, and testing/commissioning phases.

Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in the coordinated successful execution of projects

Maintaining project documentation control

AECOM is seeking a Marketing/Proposal Specialist to assist in writing and managing proposals for the West Region Marketing Team. This role will work closely with business operations and support staff to bring strong leadership, sharp compliance, skilled writing, and creativity to some of our must-win West pursuits. The job includes leading large proposals and presentations, and supports from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required.

Assists with large proposals and able to lead small to medium proposals (cross regions or business lines), and supports from capture through to interview stage, as required.

Provides conceptual leadership for document design. May serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
May facilitate color review (Pink and Red team) reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals.

This role will work closely with business operations and support staff to bring strong leadership, sharp compliance, skilled writing, and creativity to some of our must-win West pursuits. Assists with large proposals and able to lead small to medium proposals (cross regions or business lines), and supports from capture through to interview stage, as required.

Provides conceptual leadership for document design. May serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
May facilitate color review (Pink and Red team) reviews, and apply lessons learned to add value to proposals.
Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
Participates in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.

AECOM is seeking an experienced Energy Project Manager to join our growing Energy Team.
This position will perform project management and support technical tasks on a variety of projects including renewable generation, energy storage, building electrification & associated electrical upgrades, and may involve transmission and distribution (T&D) components. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of managing and executing energy projects through due diligence, design, construction, and testing/commissioning phases.
The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Interface regularly with the clients to identify project needs, communicate engineering solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
Working with interdisciplinary technical leads in the coordinated successful execution of projects
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for the execution of projects

Reporting and escalating project issues to management as needed
Maintaining project documentation control
Develop cost estimates to determine ROM on a variety of project types (e.g., renewable generation assets, energy storage, T&D upgrades, building upgrades)
Write technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders
Review or originate energy production modeling
Developing and maintaining good client relationships across the portfolio
Lead and support the development of technical proposals.
Training others to learn project management skills
Help recruit and build a team of professionals to support the growth strategy
High proficiency within Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel
Occasional travel within the United States may be required

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or related field + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

We are seeking candidates who will be able to immediately contribute to the successful delivery of projects and promote growth in existing and new markets, specifically related to Oil & Gas Environmental work, as well as supporting other focus areas. JOB SUMMARY:
This selected Project Controls Manager will work on one of AECOM's major infrastructure programs. Their function is primarily estimating, scheduling, cost management, risk management, document control, reporting, data, and systems management/integration. They'll support the development and management of policies and procedures establishing best practices related to program management and controls.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively lead the project controls function on a large to major project
Provides the organization with technical leadership and strategic direction for program controls delivery
Support the development, compilation, and production of a multi-billion rail transit Program report(s) covering progress, cost, cash flow, earned value, risk, schedule and other relevant information.
Develop and Coordinate cost management updates to assist PCM's, PC, CM's and PC Leads with current Budgets, Actuals, Accruals, Forecasts and Changes.
Provide planning, development, scheduling, reporting, and maintenance of schedule data for California High Speed Rail (CHSR) and other transit/rail project schedules, including construction of element activities reflected in program schedules to assist with verification of duration estimates.

Establish and maintain a Program Controls system monitoring and reporting Scope, Schedule, Cost, Risk and Documentation progress against an agreed Baseline

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
In addition to Project Controls, technical background or experience in Civil Engineering for rail/transit or other transportation infrastructure is preferred.
Certified Project Controls professional.
Ability to: Develop detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule development. Identify and document associated schedule risks. Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a talented entry-level Geologist for immediate employment in the Omaha, Nebraska office. This position would support the Environmental Business Line, primarily working on Federal projects. Working at AECOM means being part of a global team and collaborating with award-winning professionals across the world. This position is expected to begin in Fall 2024.
Under the supervision of a Project Manager or senior-level team member, the successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
Use on-the-job learning to apply standard field practices and techniques using basic field equipment to collect samples of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment; prepare samples for shipping, and complete chain-of-custody or similar paperwork.
Perform supervised field tasks, such as soil logging, monitoring well installation, slug testing, water level/groundwater gradient surveys, etc.
Gather and interpret chemical and non-chemical data and other information to be used in the preparation of scientific reports, compiles and organizes environmental data collected by others.
Prepare basic data and scientific documents and can apply knowledge of natural sciences (hydrology, chemistry, biology, etc.) to explain observations.
Assist senior-level team members in planning and coordination efforts of field programs.
Qualified candidates must be comfortable with travel. Field work and out-of-state travel will be required.
Anticipated division of job-related tasks is about a 75/25 percent split between field and office work.
The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively both as an individual and within a collaborative team-environment. They must be able to demonstrate effective and timely communication skills especially during field work. The flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Geology or related science.
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred Qualifications
Has general knowledge of geologic and environmental concepts (e.g., stratigraphy, geological processes, hydrogeology, hydrology, etc.).
Ability and desire to travel periodically for weeks- to months-long project assignments.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to document.
Safety-minded individual with the desire to implement safe working practices and be an active participant in safety kick-off calls and daily -tailgate- safety briefings.
Experience with basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner.
Database, GIS, CAD, visualization software skills are desirable.
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification or ability to obtain one within 2 months of hire.
Frequent lifting, carrying, and loading equipment without assistance up to 50lbs.
Previous experience or proven ability in operating a full-size pickup truck.
Tolerance for work in outdoor environments in a range of weather conditions and be medically fit for wearing a respirator.

Job Description
As a Senior Data Scientist at AECOM, you will help drive the design and implementation of our data infrastructure for the Program Management business line. This includes helping define data, data models, and data architecture for the purposes of PgM BL specific needs, as well as individual program and program team needs.
You will be working on our program management tools in partnership with internal technology teams and regions responsible for developing and delivering business solutions. Your focus will be ensuring data and dashboarding standardization, platform scalability, security, and efficient data management on an ongoing basis. Your expertise and familiarity with program management data will help internal technology teams deliver on our data strategy, supporting Enterprise Critical Pursuit/ Tier 2 program teams, driving efficiency, enabling rapid data-driven decision-making, and positioning AECOM as an industry leader in the program management space.
Responsibilities:
Data Architecture Design :
Develop and maintain the overall PgM data architecture, including data models, schemas, and databases. This includes ad-hoc addition of data from individual clients or other sources as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (internal technology teams, regional BL, etc.) to define data requirements for global programs.
Partner with internal technology teams to help drive decisions on buy versus build with clearly articulated business rationale.
Partner with internal technology teams to help drive IP vision in the program reporting space (what is our secret sauce, what should we absolutely own and protect, and why)
Data Governance and Standards :
Contribute to data governance policies, ensuring compliance with corporate and industry regulations.
Help define data standards, best practices, and guidelines for data management relating to Programs and the PgM GBL.
Data lifecycle management for program data
Familiarity with global requirements around data residency.
System/Data Integration :
Overseeing PgM data integration and developing integration strategies/schemas across various platforms (e.g., BIM, program management tools) on a program-by-program basis.
Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability for delivery of automated dashboarding and AI/ML support.
Ensure design is flexible enough to account for client and country-specific regulatory and data residency requirements.
Scalability and Performance :
Drive optimization of data storage and retrieval processes for large-scale programs.
Address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
Ensure support for AI/ML analytics
Security and Privacy :
Inform delivery of robust data security measures, safeguarding sensitive information in accordance with client and corporate policy.
Collaborate with both internal and client cross-functional teams (IT, cybersecurity, etc.) to mitigate risks.
Collaboration and Training :
Work closely with internal technology teams, data scientists, engineers, digital business leads, product managers, and program managers.
Train program teams on data-related processes and tools.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS plus 8 years of experience in data analysis and architecture, preferably in the AEC industry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in database design, ETL processes, and data modeling. Ability to partner closely with internal technology teams and external vendors, helping drive the data strategy vision, providing requirements, and articulating any design tradeoffs to the business. Additional ability to parse standard/universal program data needs from bespoke program management client needs is a must.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with AEC program management domain, including the end-to-end program lifecycle, including initiation, design, construction, and maintenance phases. Additional areas of familiarity desired:
BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts
Construction, materials, and logistics
Regulatory compliance
GIS
Preferred Qualifications:
10 years of experience in data analysis and architecture, preferably in the AEC industry. Previous experience building robust program reporting systems for international clients is a major plus.
The ideal candidate will also be able to provide solutions to bridge any gaps and create a seamless client experience between the standard reporting tool and the very specific client reporting needs. They will operate as a key part of the change management process, acting as an advocate for the toolset, and working directly with clients and programs to ensure benefits are defined and achieved.
