Primary Duties: * Provide leadership support as well as manage and develop all receiving department personnel * Assign and schedule personnel * Manage and oversee the receiving of raw material into inventory system, ensuring materials are physically counted to match packing list and purchase order data; question appropriate person when there are discrepancies arise; * Oversee and communicate PO needs/issues to corporate purchasing as needed * Manage the Receiving area and inventory, ensuring it well maintained and organized * Coordinate and communicate with other departments * Ensure Material Handlers are maintaining material inventory for all the lines * Assist in evaluation and hiring of staff * Enforce safety and quality requirements * Offers suggestions for process improvements to management * Ensure proper training for staff and that they are crossed trained in various areas of the receiving department * Communicate and work closely with Production Supervisors * Be a hands-on team player. * Other duties as assigned by the area Manager Qualifications Required: * Willing and able to work directly on the production line. * Proficient with a tape measure. (Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.) * Read a cut sheet * Basic geometry skills * Fraction to decimal conversions * Entry level computer skills * Work in heat for a prolonged period * Basic carpentry skills (using a miter saw to cut angles) * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. * Comfortable to work within a shift structure system. * Able to make decisions on their own. * Strong team working capabilities. * Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. * Ability to lift upto 75lbs occasionally and 15-30 lbs frequently during the shift. * Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. We're looking for talented multi-trade maintenance people with at least two (2) years experience in industrial electricity and machine troubleshooting/repair. The purpose of this position is to assist the department in keeping the building and equipment functioning properly at all times. The goal is to have minimal unscheduled downtime. This is a skilled position requiring mechanical aptitude and good reasoning abilities. This position requires two years apprenticeship or the equivalent on machine repair. The position is responsible for but not limited to the following: - Diagnose and correct failures through the proper dismantling, repair, assemble and installation of the complex machinery within a reasonable time. - Make repairs and/or fabricate in accordance with drawings and/or other specifications with minimal supervision. - Thorough knowledge of and possess applicable skills in welding, and maintaining hydraulic, plumbing and electrical systems - Thorough knowledge and use of machine tools, materials, shop practice and equipment including high lift machinery. - Possess their own hand tools for completion of work assignments - Maintain all appropriate records and paperwork as directed. - Maintain the shop and job site in a neat, clean and orderly fashion - Comply with all plant safety rules and regulation. Correct any safety violations that is needed - Maintain all lock-out and tag-out safety precautions - Guide, direct and train others - Perform other duties as assigned * The position works a 12 hour schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off).
