Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement manufacturing dispatch, scheduling & automation solutions.

  • Coordinate with Production Control, Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Yield Enhancement, Product development and CIM teams to develop and optimize intelligent manufacturing business rules to achieve cycle time, throughput and equipment utilization goals through factory automation solutions.

  • Coordinate with systems administration, CIM and IT teams on systems planning, improvements, and mechanisms to ensure high systems availability and performance.

  • Present technical information to customers including technical contributors and managers.

Qualifications:

  • 4+years experience working in Semiconductor or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Experience with factory simulation and optimization.

  • Experience sustaining factory dispatching and automation systems.

  • Understand complex factory automation systems.

  • Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Production Engineering or manufacturing Science.

  • Project management skills with ability to lead multiple projects concurrently.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.

  • Expert inapplication ofAPF products for improving factory productivity

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assists in planning the daily work schedule within assigned territory to ensure completion of Preventive Maintenance and remedial maintenance.

  2. Uses escalation policies as required to keep management informed of down situations.

  3. Verifies and approves the operational quality of system equipment. Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual periodic maintenance on systems within established time frames. Also performs wet cleans as required. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of systems. Troubleshoots and corrects process variations on systems partially with assistance from senior engineers.

  4. Assumes responsibility for complete customer satisfaction within assigned accounts. Assists in planning, communicating, and co-ordinating support plans with customer management.

  5. Performs start-up, warranty, paid service, and service contract activities. Performs TIER II start-ups within established time frames. Assists on TIER III start-ups. Provides technical assistance to less experienced Applied personnel. Uses training and experience to identify some process related system problems.

  6. Serves as the Company liaison with the customer's front line management on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Assists in the preparation of and participates in customer meetings.

  7. Develops and implements plans to increase productivity. Tracks equipment performance and plan uptime improvement. Has a working knowledge of Statistical Process Control. Utilises Quality Improvement Process methods and terminology.

  8. Plans and executes support activities on a wide range of Applied Materials' systems. May need technical assistance in performance of daily responsibilities.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced trade compliance attorney to join a multidisciplinary Global Litigation & Compliance team and help implement and sustain Applied Materials compliance programs. Based in Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX or Chandler, AZ, this will be a key role in a dedicated in-house legal team supporting the companys global trade function.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Continually analyzing the evolving trade laws and regulations applicable to the company, and their impact on strategy and operations

  • Conducting and advising on trade compliance risk assessments, audits and due diligence reviews

  • Designing and advising on effective trade compliance policies, operating procedures and technology control plans

  • Developing and delivering trade compliance training for a variety of audiences

Major Areas of Responsibility

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in advising multinational businesses on trade compliance matters, including US export controls and sanctions programs

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, and ability to gain the trust of business stakeholders to achieve a desired objective

  • Problem Solving: Proactively identifies and solves complex problems, thinking beyond existing solutions and frameworks
