Support NASA as part of the ATOM (Aerospace Testing, Operations and Maintenance) contract at the NASA Ames Research Center. The Computer Systems Security Analyst requires knowledge and experience with federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-60 and NIST SP 800-53. Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security is required, as well as experience with the review and creation of mitigation reports from compliance and vulnerability scanning tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and communicate opportunities for efficiency as well as nuances. Identify gaps and work very closely with multiple stakeholders to resolve Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs).

2. Proven track-record of managing the assessment, deployment, and delivery of accreditation of information systems.

3. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders as systems are assessed and accredited.

4. Review and provide written technical documentation for the security posture of information systems throughout the entire system development lifecycle.

5. Provide continuous monitoring through scheduled audits, controls testing, audit reviews, and escalate issues as needed. Responsible for tracking POAM due dates and ensuring business partners are able to remediate or escalate for discussion.

Collaborates with the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and Department of Defense's (DoD) best trained General Military Intelligence (GMI) professionals. Will be required to provide stakeholders Intelligence Analytical support for all Intelligence factions. Provides necessary resources with knowledge and experience to support Weapons and Technical Analysis, Geo-spatial Intelligence Science and Analysis, Regional Analysis, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, and Counterintelligence (CI)/Human Intelligence (HUMINT).

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on full motion imagery analysis, producing intelligence products derived from any airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance platform to include imagery analysis on a broad range of issues, supporting national security objectives, senior policy makers, the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on full motion imagery analysis, producing intelligence products derived from any airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance platform to include imagery analysis on a broad range of issues, supporting national security objectives, senior policy makers, the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives.

• Provide real time 24/7/365-366 full motion video exploitation in a shift work environment maintaining Situational Awareness (SA) and understanding of the mission and the intelligence requirements.

• Research Cedalion or its follow-on and other multi-disciplined IC databases to acquire amplifying or clarifying information in support of research and analysis.

• Produce standard and non-standard FMV imagery analysis products, such as motion imagery summary reports and tailored mission-specific products.

• Create and provide metadata to support structured observations in support of the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives.

• Provide analysts capable of simultaneously being able to view, exploit, record, and touch type (minimum of 40 words/minute) live FMV exploitation comments in support of operational FMV missions.

• Identify targets and target-related activities by understanding Order of Battle for mission related geolocations.

• Conduct target research in support of exploitation activities to provide amplifying information and context to information requirements and to inform the exploitation team.

• Analyze existing information and intelligence to identify gaps in coverage/knowledge in order to investigate all sources of intelligence to fill those gaps.

• Conduct data mining using various databases, open-source reporting, digital video archives, and other intelligence sources.

• Provide multimedia production in support of exploitation activities.

• Provide peer-to-peer assessments when analysts require evaluations and when analysts need to be tested on their position.
