Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking experienced finance talent to join its North America Commercial Sales Finance team and serving as dedicated finance partner to our Auto & Manufacturing sales division. This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of one of the most dynamic and fastest growing organizations at Amazon.
The role will work closely with business and finance stakeholders to support and drive one of the largest and most complex North America businesses in AWS. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and forecasting revenue and customer acquisition trends to monitor state of the business health, deep-diving variances to uncover operating insights, collaborating on strategic investment opportunities and programs to optimize financial returns, establishing/enhancing governance mechanisms, and driving planning and forecasting rhythms.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders on revenue, customer acquisition, and strategic investment decisions that balance growth objectives with financial returns
- Invent and design scalable detailed reporting to monitor the business and financial health
- Deep dive drivers of monthly & quarterly variances in expense, revenue, and business performance metrics and provide key insights to business stakeholders to inform operating strategies
- Support planning and forecasting for NAMER Auto & Manufacturing division, and influence business stakeholders to ensure initiatives and any get to green plans are aligned with broader organizational objectives
- Develop and implement governance mechanisms to protect AWS investments
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to help business leaders solve complex problems and understand financial implications
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

Act as Product Owner and Program Manager on programs or products implemented by Sales Operations (People, Process and Technology focused solutions).
Work with internal and external Customers as needed to gather and document Business Requirements and User Stories, propose solutions, evaluate feasibility, technology assessment, ROI and complexity for a wide variety of potential process and system solutions.
Drive core Sales Operations processes - Territory Planning, Quota Development, Sales Performance Management, Sales Incentive programs, data issue resolution.

Model and simulate improvements to existing business processes, walking through 'what if' scenarios and dry runs to identify and resolve gaps prior to implementation.

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

The Reliability Maintenance Planner / Scheduler will be a member of the Reliability Maintenance and Engineering team and will work with network the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team as well as the Reliability Manager to maximize material handling equipment uptime for Operations associates.
This position is responsible for developing maintenance plans and schedules based on recurring preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data and KPIs. Key activities for this position include screening EAM work orders, auditing equipment to document work requirements and quality, estimate labor hours, materials, tools and equipment for all assigned work orders to support a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) program. This role will work closely with Maintenance management, Maintenance Technicians, Control Systems Technicians and Operations teams to plan, coordinate and schedule proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows. This will help prevent unplanned downtime of material handling equipment and disruption to production activities. We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Development Engineer with a proven track record of implementing best in class processes within a complex design and manufacturing environment. This role will report to the Manager of Product Development and is an integral member of the Design Engineering Services team. You will be responsible for applying design for X (DFx) principles during new product introduction (NPI) of a wide range of products from initial concept to beta. You will work to integrate customer scaling requirements for safety, manufacturability, deployability, and supportability into new product designs. Additionally, you will work cross-functionally to develop best in class DFx feedback and services; guide product lifecycle changes, lead bill of material (BOM) strategy, lead technology feasibility and improvement projects, and drive to technical root cause utilizing advanced problem solving. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in both design and manufacturing combined with capability of making wide-ranging business decisions on behalf of the organization.

Launch prototype tooling with accelerated schedules and assess project risk.

Drive internal and external DFMEA reviews.
Solve technical problems across a broad set of design and manufacturing commodities.
Mentor team members and design engineers.

Evaluate and approve Design Engineering Changes Orders (DECOs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
Implement best practices for engineering standards (ex. IPC-620 WHMA Class II)
Analyze NPI failures to identify root cause and drive improvements through future DFx cycles.
Effectively write White Papers (WP) and Manufacturing Concept Papers (MCP) to inform and influence teams and stakeholders
Take ownership to identify issues/problems and drives them to completion with little oversight
High level of attention to detail but flexibility to enable to business to move at a high velocity.
Navigate projects consisting of a high level of ambiguity and provide guidance to multiple partners.
Up to 30% travel required (domestic and international).
A day in the life
Product Development Engineers work with many different internal and external organizations. We communicate frequently on technical topics with our design partners and NPI suppliers during the NPI process. We see ahead of curves and turns in the programs and prevent problems or risks from impacting our performance targets and goals.
About the team
The Design Engineering Services Team is made up of multiple talented individuals with various educational and practical experience backgrounds. This team has a strong desire to provide value to our stakeholders and evaluate the latest NPI techniques and manufacturing technologies to constantly improve and innovate. We do travel to manufacturers and evaluating prototypes as they are being made during NPI phases.
Team members are encouraged to be highly independent; however, a strong support system is available to help any team members through problem solving phases.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
5+ years of relevant industry experience in NPI with strong knowledge of manufacturing.
Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline, Mechanical, Systems, Robotics, Electrical, Manufacturing or suitable experience.
Proficient in 3D modeling software (ex: Solidworks)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Experience with the project management of technical projects
Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other relevant technical discipline.
Proficient in GD&T
7+ years of product design and development experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to file and manage claims related to accidents and damages involving Amazon's growing transportation fleet. The Fleet Claims Specialist will be focusing on filing, managing and resolving claims related to damaged ATS assets. This is an hourly position sitting in either Nashville, TN or Tempe, AZ.
Responsibilities will include reviewing assigned claims, contacting the insured and other affected individuals, initiating documentation in the claim handling system, and resolving claims. An ideal candidate brings a background in fleet maintenance and automotive claims handling, with experience managing professional relationships with multiple stakeholders, holding responsible individuals accountable for asset damages and repair costs, and achieving organizational targets. This job will require exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills with the ability to work independently.

Key job responsibilities
Interact with carriers/customers to obtain facts, explain claims processes, and provide high quality service to achieve a positive customer experience
Plan and conduct investigation to determine liability, bodily injury, and damages
Assesses actual damages associated with claims and conducts negotiations to settle claims within assigned authority and achieve the best possible outcome.
Thoroughly document and/or code the claim file and complete all claim closure and related activities in the assigned claims management system.
Use claims system to properly document files (resolution strategy, supporting evidence, negotiations, etc.).
Utilize and navigate various internal and external websites and tools to file and manage claims
Work effectively with TOM/TEM/Safety/ROC and other stakeholders to maintain a healthy asset pool
Work with TEM team members to help identify carrier caused accidents that negatively impact AZNG asset health and availability
Conduct thorough reviews of damages and determine the applicability of state law and other factors related to the claim.
Evaluate the financial value of the equipment loss.
Schedule and coordinate asset repairs with ATS preferred maintenance vendors
Refer claims to other company units to be advised on as needed (e.g., Legal, Risk, Compliance, Loss Prevention).
