Summary:
Peer leader to Business Office Associates, responsible for cash management, processing and auditing of paperwork associated with sales, and providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Mentors Business Office Associates assisting them with their development and training
Assists store personnel and all store departments in their daily functions while adhering to CarMax guidelines
Participates in the rotation of the -Manager on Duty- role - responsible for delegating and directing the business office work flow, answering questions related to transactions, handling customer issues/concerns and following up on delegated business office work tasks
Delegates and follows up on various business office tasks
Provides customer service by listening, answering customer questions and explaining paperwork process
Processes paperwork associated with retail automobile sales including printing daily reports, maintaining deal jackets, contacting finance companies regarding contracts, obtaining required information regarding registration and titling, and auditing completed paperwork
Processes paperwork associated with an appraisal lane purchase including title collection calls and follow up, obtaining proper paperwork and signatures from customers and sending appropriate documentation to Corporate for funding of drafts
Manages cash including receiving and counting money, distributing funds, preparing deposits and handling of the safe with considerations to security
Processes paperwork affiliated with the state DMV. This includes submitting paperwork necessary to title and register a vehicle for a customer after the sale
Clerical responsibilities including copying, filing and answering phones
May assist in hiring process by attending job fairs and performing interviews in partnership with a manager

About this job
Ensuring today's customers can buy the vehicles they want in a way that suits them means offering support during every step of the journey. You will be the vital link between a customer's online buying experience to their home delivery, providing an iconic car-buying experience. As a Vehicle Delivery Driver, you will need more than just driving skills. You will be responsible for loading and unloading a customer's vehicle, delivering paperwork for signature, and probably the most gratifying part of the process, handing over a set of keys to customers to enjoy their new car!
What you will do - Essential Responsibilities
Operating a two-car hauler for customer vehicle deliveries. In most states, a Class A, B, or C commercial driver's license is not necessary. See qualifications and requirements for more details
Load, transport and off-load CarMax vehicles at various locations to ensure the right vehicle is in the right place at the right time for our CarMax teams and customers
Facilitate the completion of Home Delivery transactions
Interact with customers, other associates and team members to provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
Perform a brief and guided condition verification for vehicles being transported to a CarMax location
Verify that all vehicles meet CarMax's cosmetic standards before being delivered to a customer.
Carry out daily equipment inspections to ensure our transport operations run smoothly and safely
Maintain all necessary logs and documentation as required by company.

Qualifications and Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid state-issued driver's license
Class B CDL preferred
Additional Licensing and Endorsement requirements may apply for select states
Illinois - Class C Driver's License Required
Indiana - Class D Driver's License with a -For Hire- endorsement required
Louisiana - Class D Chauffeur's License required
Mississippi - Class D Commercial License required
Driving record with no more than 6 penalty points within the last three years
1+ year of customer service experience
1+ year of delivery driving experience
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must possess DOT Medical Card or must be able to pass DOT certified Medical Exam to obtain DOT Medical Card within 28 days of hire
Adherence to all applicable CarMax policies and procedures,
Able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and winch transported vehicles during the loading process
Proficient in operating a manual transmission
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Purpose of the role
This is a high-energy retail sales environment where you will work as a team to meet goals and handle a wide range of customer interactions. With oversight and accountability into the Benefits Director, this role is responsible for ideation and influence in the areas of Health Benefits plan design, strategy and innovation as well as contributing toward benchmarking and market research
Owns, oversees and advances the Health Benefits programs
Understands the connections, dependencies, and impacts within the various Health Benefits portfolio, to ensure operational complexities are expertly identified
Utilizes strong vendor management skills to drive results and service levels
Leverages exceptional communication skills to present to senior executives throughout the year and drive Associate engagement strategy for the Health Benefits programs
With accountability into the Benefits Director and VP of Total Rewards, this role develops annual plan budgets; guide outside actuary in the development of self-funded rates for the medical, dental and vision plans to ensure the assumptions meet CarMax's needs
Leverages knowledge of applicable laws and regulations to ensure CarMax is compliant across all of the Health Benefits programs, with the support of counsel
Manage a team of Analysts; offer growth, development and mentorship to the team
Qualifications and Requirements
Education/Experience:
5+ years experience in employee benefits or other relevant/applicable work experience
2+ years experience managing people is preferred

General Summary:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform quality and timely imaging of Retail and Wholesale vehicles for CarMax websites Complete vehicle secures, including reading and verifying appraisal entry information for any discrepancies.
Complete vehicle walkarounds, transfers and confirmations; including communicating information accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist Merchandising Department in accurately optioning CarMax inventory.
Partner with Inventory and Sales Departments with lot staging, as needed.
Assist the Merchandising Department with projects and office duties, as needed.

General Summary:
Under general supervision, deliver exceptional customer service by acting as a liaison between the customer and retail technician (Traditional), or mechanical associate (Flow) on the phone before, during, and after the service/repair processes.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet and greet all service customers in a friendly manner conveying exceptional customer service skills and empathy throughout the entire customer interaction.
Assist Service/Customer Operators with incoming service calls when needed.
Accurately interview and document customer concerns.
Establish specific call time with each customer to update them on the status of their vehicle and consistently meet those call time commitments, (This may require multiple calls to the same customer each day).
Create repair orders, and route work to technicians or mechanical associates.
Obtain accurate estimates and approvals for Extended Service Policy (ESP) claims.
Consult with customers regarding needed repairs.
Review repair orders for work performed and accuracy of all labor, parts and sublet documentation for billing. .
Close and invoice repair orders.
Clearly explain and communicate all recommendations/repairs/service/maintenance performed to ensure customer understanding.
Collects service payments and manages cash including receiving and counting money.
Balance a busy workload and properly dispatch work to the appropriate technician/mechanical associate. Ensure all customer concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
