CACI is seeking an experienced Communications Support Specialist who will offer internal events planning and implementation, in addition to general communication planning, writing, and editing at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

Ideal candidates should have significant event planning experience, DHS experience and an active DHS EOD, as well as the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and edit.

This role will coordinate communication among various DHS staff, management, contractors, and stakeholders.

This position is hybrid remote with onsite requirements rotating between the customer site in Springfield, VA and CACI's PMO at the National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD.

About the Role:

  • Support all facets of the planning and implementation of internal events ranging from Interagency to industry level events, including planning to project planning/ tracking of event; accommodating a hybrid format for both virtual and in-person participants and attendees; coordinating panel discussions; drafting talking points, presentations; preparing web content and surveys; facilitating rehearsal and dry runs before events from flow of shows; provide A/V tech oversight

  • Refine SOPs related to Events

  • Write and Edit, preferably short form

  • Work during normal business hours

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 10 years of applicable experience or equivalence providing executive communication support (equivalency includes MA/MS plus 7+ years applicable experience or AA + 12 years applicable experience).

  • Strong organization and communications skills and ability to work collaboratively with Senior Government Leaders.

  • Significant experience using notification and tracking systems to manage communications and responses, action items, deliverables, milestones, and performance status.

  • Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills consistent with communication at the federal senior executive level.

  • Advanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Online, Microsoft OneDrive, Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.), Microsoft Teams, and Shared Drives for content management, workflow, and collaboration.

  • Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction and management oversight.

  • Ability to understand the day-to-day operational needs of customers, experience to anticipate requirements and identify risks, a bias for action, and initiative to implement improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess an active DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)

  • A Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) or similar certification

  • Experience working with a remote team

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate effectively with program employees, government/client representatives, and internal organizational functional representatives

  • Ability to discover relevant data, understand the context in which it is being used, and apply experience analysis to turn data into useful information

  • Ability to receive vague guidance, conduct research to better understand requirements, and achieve high quality results

  • Ability to provide advice and counsel to senior officials

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and requirements simultaneously in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice and under high pressure in high visibility situations

  • Experience developing, measuring, and assessing performance metrics - ability to make adjustment recommendations based on data and analytics

CACI is seeking a Coaching Program Lead at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), located in Portsmouth, VA. In this position, You will be in a customer-facing, working Lead role with a strong focus on providing facilitation, consultation, coaching, coach supervision, process improvement, and project management support to Shipyard customers.

The Opportunity:

  • Optimize your high emotional intelligence while supervising a CACI team that supports funded taskings at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). The Leadership Coaches you supervise partner with our government customers to apply principles of organizational leadership, develop people, transform culture, improve performance, and achieve results through individual, group, team, and/or other coaching-based modalities. You may also serve as a Leadership Coach in a modified/strategic capacity.

  • This is a working Lead position and a customer-facing role with a strong focus on providing facilitation, consultation, coaching, coach supervision, process improvement, and project management support to Shipyard customers.

  • Use your strong problem-solving and systems-thinking abilities to manage communications, customer expectations, staffing assignments, and contract deliverables.

  • Build and develop relationships with integrated stakeholders across the Naval Maintenance Community. Must be attuned and responsive to customer needs, challenges, and opportunities with an innovative/transformative professional mindset.

  • Stay current on the Naval Maintenance Community's strategic goals, programs, initiatives, trends, and technology.

  • Work site is primarily on the customer site; on occasion at the CACI site or home site (with prior arrangements).

Responsibilities:

  • Actively use and support the improvement of Coaching Program knowledge sharing systems, processes, and best practices.

  • Lead team members in their performance of contracted government support and services. Supervise, hire, onboard, train, monitor/assess work performance, and mentor employees and subcontractors. Ensure quality delivery of support/services and set objectives for your team's achievement of operational results. Oversee staffing accountability and adherence to policies, processes, practices, and procedures.

  • Plan, facilitate, lead, and support customer meetings, presentations, briefings, strategic planning sessions, working groups, off-site events, etc. in support of contract activities. This includes pre- and post-administrative support/coordination.

  • Represent the site Program Operations Manager (POM) and fill in as needed in the POM's absence. In collaboration with the POM: ensure CACI site operations are aligned to CACI requirements, initiatives, processes, and culture; support the POM in cultivating emerging CACI business growth opportunities at the Shipyard and potentially lead personnel in that new work.

  • As a working Lead you may directly support some funded taskings in an individual contributor capacity, to include serving as a Leadership Coach in a modified/strategic capacity.

  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum 3 years of coaching experience in leadership development, facilitation, organizational development, change management, learning organizations, or process and performance improvement. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum 8 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered for this position.

  • International Coaching Federation (ICF) credential (ACC, PCC, MCC).

  • Strong project management and facilitation skills with proficiency in the organization and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.

  • Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and time management, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience supervising employees/managing teams.

  • Work experience with the naval maintenance community, the US Navy, or the Department of Defense.

  • Experience facilitating meetings attended by senior leadership.

The Opportunity:

  • Supervise a CACI team that supports funded taskings at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist government leadership's management of multiple innovation and implementation initiatives and operations at both the strategic and tactical level. Provide tools and methods to aid customers' decision making, management, and action planning. Facilitate alignment with Command and NAVSEA initiatives. Direct support includes full cycle meeting management, data collection and entry, metrics compilation and analysis, drafting white papers and statements of work, detailed involvement in portfolio management, and other support as needed.

  • Lead team members in their performance of contracted government support and services. Supervise, hire, onboard, train, monitor/assess work performance, and mentor employees and subcontractors. Ensure quality delivery of support/services and set objectives for your team's achievement of operational results. Oversee staffing accountability and adherence to policies, processes, practices, and procedures.

  • Plan, facilitate, lead, and support customer meetings, presentations, briefings, strategic planning sessions, working groups, off-site events, etc. in support of contract activities. This includes pre- and post-administrative support/coordination.

  • Represent the site Program Operations Manager (POM) and fill in as needed in the POM's absence. In collaboration with the POM: ensure CACI site operations are aligned to CACI requirements, initiatives, processes, and culture; support the POM in cultivating emerging CACI business growth opportunities at the Shipyard and potentially lead personnel in that new work.

  • As a working Lead you may directly support some funded taskings in an individual contributor capacity.

  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or similar Engineering and a minimum 3 years of experience in continuous process improvement activities, change management, facilitation, project management, or other applicable area. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum 8 years of directly applicable work experience in engineering, process improvement, or change management may be considered for this position.

  • Training and experience in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints.

  • Strong project management and facilitation skills with proficiency in the organization and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.

  • In this role, you will utilize high precision measurement equipment (coordinate measurement machines (CMMs), laser tracker equipment, ultrasonic devices, calipers, verniers, electronic protractors, squares, height gauges, depth gauges, indicators, and micrometers) and perform computerized spatial analysis. Calibrate equipment then measure item geometry and spatial relationships. This includes small and large-scale items requiring dimension and tolerance analysis to determine accuracy. Shall restrain items to prevent hog and sag deformation prior to measurement. Provide Tolerance Measurement Study upon completion.   • Prepare measurement reports per customer specifications. Determine if first article parts are acceptable.

  • Implement new innovative practices to promote part accuracy, and proficiency. This may include, but is not limited to, new reporting templates or formats that better facilitate the documentation, reporting, and tracking of precision measurement activities.

  • Use Polyworks Metrology Software to inspect high tolerance finished components designed with minimal fixturing to preform article inspection.

  • The selected individual must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal oversight and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Supporting the program manager, identify project requirements including justification write-ups, sole-source recommendations and technical evaluations, and maintain records of purchased materials and services by tracking purchase date, lead time and cost, and providing monthly reports to the customer.

  • Closely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.

  • Collaborate with program manager to achieve socioeconomic goals by contracting small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned companies and disadvantaged business firms where practical.

  • Responsible for the technical performance of assigned project(s) while assuring product delivery to the customer in accordance with budget and schedule requirements.

  • Monitor and maintain vendor performance related to quality, scheduling, planning and acquisition strategy by compiling an up-to-date vendor list, with qualified processes and technical skills and abilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in STEM major or business

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a position requiring project management expertise

  • Existing experience managing projects on IAC MAC task orders

  • Active minimum Secret clearance

  • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills

CACI is seeking a Network Engineer Field Representative to support the EPS program at Langley AFB, VA. The selected candidate will be a part of the GNS Fielding team and will be required to travel 75-80% for all Enterprise install/refresh activities needed (CONUS and OCONUS).

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining a variety of COTS hardware and software, including routers, switches, storage arrays, servers, and workstations, with a focus on meeting DoD and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).

  • Proficiency in managing and implementing complex network architectures, including LAN/WAN configurations, physical network infrastructure design, and the integration of advanced networking hardware such as Cisco Nexus and Aruba switches.

  • Experience with operating system installation and configuration across multiple classified networks and domains, utilizing both Microsoft and UNIX-based systems.

  • Skilled in performing fault isolation, diagnostic assessment, and corrective actions on mission-critical systems, including Full Motion Video (FMV) assets, to ensure continuous availability and operational integrity.

  • Proven ability to develop, document, and maintain systems to ensure the reliability and security of deployed systems in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds, use basic hand tools, and to plan and perform equipment installations and migrations while maintaining uptime on high-availability classified networks.
