Full Time- 3rd Shift

PRIMARY FUNCTION :

• Set up and operate CNC controlled horizontal milling center and horizontal boring bar to machine large steel structures, forgings, castings, weldments, and plates.

• Use of related components and equipment including: metal cutting tools and inserts, tool holders, collets, tool pre-setter machine, fixtures, work holding and clamping equipment, various hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Jib and overhead cranes used for material handling.

Description:

• Review manufacturing documents for operation sequence, setup and work holding information.

• Identify work piece and assist in loading on machine.

• Set up and align part using blocks, shims, parallels, wedges, clamps, etc.

• Assemble proper cutting tools for operation using tool holder, chucks, collets, drills, taps, reamers, mills, facing, and boring tools, etc. Index cutting inserts as required.

• Load CNC program and perform a trial run to check program accuracy when needed.

• Use process instructions and G & M code program to operate CNC milling and boring machine

• Adjust or select machine parameters such as feed rate, speed, and offset values where required.

• Perform very close tolerance machining operations such as facing, boring, counter boring, drilling, tapping, etc. on large structural weldments, castings and forgings.

• Perform in process inspection of machined parts as required to maintain quality requirements.

• Make appropriate program changes and edits where required. May on occasion need to operate machine manually, without program.

• Assist in unloading and remove processed parts from machine.

• Clean up work piece removing burrs, chips, coolant, etc.

• Keep facilities, material, and work area clean and orderly,

• Conform to safety and inspection requirements and perform all the above operations in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• One to three years of actual, hands on, CNC machining experience; demonstrate good skill and ability on the machines operated.

• Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints.

• Ability to use quality inspection gaging, indicating, and measuring techniques including verniers, calipers, and micrometers.

• Know basic machine shop math, including high school trigonometry.

• Know basic machine shop practices.

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of machining terminology and procedures.

• Demonstrate a safe work history.

Top Candidates will have:

• CNC milling and boring of steel and other metals experience preferred.

• Familiarity with Siemens and Fanuc controls and operator interface

What You'll Do / Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve annual business plan including CI Sales to Users (STU), Customer Value Agreement (CVA) growth, rebuild growth and Prioritized Service Events (PSEs) won for the assigned dealer territories.

• Partner with dealer's parts and service sales management, sales teams, and marketing management to influence sales execution and sales funnel management.

• Deliver profitable growth leveraging the Four Disciplines of Execution (-4DX-) methodology.

• Understand, document and communicate customer requirements, competitive landscape and other market intelligence to Services Development, product groups and/or other internal stakeholders.

• Optimize parts sales variance utilization within budget to drive incremental business.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at a specific site location.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Using problem solving and critical thinking, additional key responsibilities include the following:

• Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.

• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures

• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.

• Create and close work orders into asset management system with appropriate data to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.

• Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resources needed to resolve them.

• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.

• Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.

• Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.

• Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.

• Develop and maintenance positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of electrical troubleshooting experience to include wiring, ac power, ac motors, electrical drawings/schematics, and control panels.

• Mechanical experience with gearboxes, sprockets, chains, bearings, guide rollers, etc.

• Experience with servo drives, PLC, PC controllers, DC power supplies, optical devices (i.e., encoders, photoeyes, etc.)

• Knowledge of conveyor equipment/systems

• Must be able to evaluate, analyze, and troubleshoot equipment failures and perform root cause corrective action to prevent reoccurrence.

• Associate degree or vocational technical training is a plus.

Operations Team Member V HVAC Maintenance

The position requires expert work skills and familiarity with the Facility HVAC maintenance program and chiller configurations. The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems. The incumbent generally resolves issues by following departmental guidelines and standard work or making changes based on root cause corrective actions. This position will be responsible for HVAC, refrigeration and chillers as needed, to meet daily production requirements.

Responsibilities / accountabilities include, but not limited to the following:

Main focus of the position is as the subject matter expert responsible for:

-Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving HVAC and refrigeration issues

-Diagnostic Testing

-Teaching other team members

-Identifying RCCA's

Basic Qualifications

-Candidate must be a full time Caterpillar Employee.

-5 or more years of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, Comfort View EMS and chiller experience.

-The candidate must be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and have solid understanding of schematics.

-Demonstrate proficiency using computer programs related to HVAC and manage parts inventory.

-Must be able to teach/test all HVAC configurations.

-Must be able to teach/perform complex mechanical repairs which include, but are not limited to replacing compressors, coils, circuit boards and must be able to perform electrical testing.

-Must have good communication skills to interface with various levels of staff and management.

-Must be willing to work an off-shift and overtime.

Description

Cat Solutions and Services Division is seeking a Connectivity Product Owner within the Mining Health Technology product development team. The Health technology products are designed to provide customer mixed fleet with improved equipment availability and reliability at the lowest possible cost per ton.

In this role, you will be responsible to lead the mining industry aftermarket connectivity products technical strategy, as well as providing product and application support to the global sale and dealer organizations. Connectivity products enable our customers' fleet of CAT and non-CAT machines compatibility to the Caterpillar's suite of technology solutions. This role provides day-to-day support to customers and field service staff in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problems.

Job Duties

The role involves defining, planning, and coordinating product strategy and development activities to meet customer's performance, functionality, schedule, cost and quality objectives. The role also involves developing deep application subject matter expertise to provide technical sale, commercial support, application literature and coaching to regional sales teams, dealers, and customers.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for strategy, requirements, development and deployment of aftermarket connectivity products in mining

• Coordination and delivery of end-to-end products development activities, including functional (design, validation) and non-functional activities (Purchasing, Product Regulations and Compliance, Documentation, Product Support, Sourcing and Order Planning, Parts Availability, Commercial readiness).

• Manage voice of customers and dealers transformation into product requirements
