JOB PURPOSE : To assist the Section Manager in leading Team members, coordinating and delegating workflow and overseeing day to day operation of area; promoting cooperative team relationships, establishing and modifying priorities, gathering metrics, generating reports, overseeing work for multiple job classifications, etc. Occasionally performing various warehousing functions at a Caterpillar warehouse/distribution facility.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

-Coordinate with logistics and external carriers to set up expedited shipments

-Interface with customer and coordinate voice of customer to logistics team to improve processes

-Lead meetings with multifunctional team to track performance and drive results

-Oversee management of zones through targeting aged inventory, leading reconciliation and investigating root cause

-Regularly lead problem-solving events to drive continuous improvement

-Accountable for tracking quality metrics and meeting Safety, Quality, Velocity and Cost goals

-Lead investigations on customer reported defects, including internal logistics customers

-Occasionally utilizing heavy equipment, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes

-Occasionally perform material handling and warehousing functions as required

-Work independently with minimal supervision

-Ability to work OT when required

-Lead team meetings guiding daily priorities and change management

-Demonstrating safety excellence and enforcing safety policies and procedures

-Continuously managing training matrix to ensure team flexibility

Essential Job Functions:

-Occasionally lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pound as team lift

-Occasional bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks

-Consistent usage of required PPE for task being performed

-Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

-Standing and/or sitting at a desk while performing tasks

Basic Qualifications:

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills

-Demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills

-Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, and Access

-Good attendance record

-Ability to maintain accurate and complete records

-Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics operation

-Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience

OVERVIEW

Responsibilities

This position will oversee and direct daily plant operations including assembly, reclaim, and disassembly operations, maintenance, manufacturing, engineering support, safety, engagement, attrition, quality, day-one defects, shipping performance, yield, NPU, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training the personnel that perform and support the plant operating functions.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide assistance in the development and support of business system/technology functionality and design as required as part of applications updates/changes and/or transformation. Identify and apply systems solutions to business/technical problems through customer interactions, solutioning and design of complex implementation projects. Work with minimal to no supervision in developing solutions to customer related requests and/or system problems.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide systems support, including problem identification and resolution and integration of business solutions.

  2. Follows and executes on established development and support processes, including but not limited to, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile methodology,

  3. Collaborates with business partners to validate and gather business requirements for technical solutions.

  4. Manages and troubleshoots system related issues including root cause analysis and resolution. Works with appropriate IS resources as and when needed.

  5. Provides leadership to projects and support, including task planning and execution and delivery of commitments.

  6. Works within objectives and instructions from business application team resources for use in designing, testing and documentation.

  7. Identifies and works to automate tasks and processes with scripting and automation tools.

  8. Meets the quality standards set forth by management.

  9. Stays current with industry trends and technologies (e.g., certifications, industry groups, etc.).

  10. Incorporates enterprise security standards into assigned application, working with IS resources as necessary to follow said standards.

  11. Reviews monthly application related releases, prepares and executes required testing in a non-production environment, and provides recommendations for enhancements using new features.

  12. Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department. Progress toward accomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessary measurements and analysis of associated data.

  13. Understands the Harassment policy of the company and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE:

  1. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  2. Ability to communicate future direction with leadership.

  3. Strong knowledge of the assigned suite of applications (for instance Cloud EPM - FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, EPBCS) and EDMCS and their relationship to systems.

  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  5. Strong ability and willingness to learn new technologies.

  6. Demonstrated ability to assist in design and development of application strategies for related business procedures and operations.

  7. Strong customer and business relationship skills with ability to create successful customer outcomes.

  8. Ability to take initiative with problems or situations that are unique and require new or innovative courses of action or solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A 4-year college or university degree in Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 4-6 years of enterprise technology experience is recommended.

Strong candidates will also have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience implementing assigned technologies that may include account reconciliations, financial close/consolidations, allocations, planning, budgeting & forecasting.

Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.

JOB SUMMARY: Supports various accounts receivable management efforts for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation's (-CFSC-) Customer Solutions Unit of the North America Business Center (-NABC-). Works to create solutions that meet the financial needs of individual Caterpillar customers while maintaining an accountable profit for CFSC portfolio. Perform account modifications and special program adjustments for CFCA dealer, customer and subsidy accounts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  1. Follows established processes for performing the following adjustment requests: contract modifications, refinances, due date changes, principal reductions, transfers & assumptions, substitutions of collateral, booking errors, and low balance short-term modifications.

  2. Computes a customer's new payment schedule when unscheduled lump-sum payments are received (i.e. Principal Reductions)

  3. Conducts credit investigation to determine customer creditworthiness. Approves/rejects customer requests within credit authority and makes recommendations that are best for the customer and CFSC when customer exposure is beyond credit authority limit.

  4. Coordinates the communication with many different parties during the credit approval process, including but not limited to: the customer, Customer Account Specialists, Territory Managers, Customer Relations and Cash Management.

  5. Ensures the timely and accurate documentation and recording of accounting data into the leasing system, imaging and following-up with customers.

  6. Performs loan and lease restructure quotes, credit investigation, financial statement analysis, collateral evaluation, credit decision (within authority and makes recommendation when customer exposure is beyond established credit authority) and develops documents for all contract adjustment processes.

  7. Performs account modifications and special program adjustments for CFCA dealer, customer and subsidy accounts.

  8. Understands and supports the Caterpillar's Code of Conduct and belief in integrity, excellence, teamwork, and commitment. Understands and supports the Creating Exceptional Customer Experiences in all aspects of employment.

  9. Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the unit. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A 4-year college or university degree in any discipline and a minimum of 2 years exempt experience is recommended. Experience in credit, customer services, collections, marketing, financial statement analysis and/or related discipline is desired. Previous work experience must be progressively increasing in responsibility and accountability and demonstrate an ability to gain in knowledge, skills, and responsibility such that a level of full competency can be reached. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education.

JOB SUMMARY: Provide assistance in the development and support of business system/technology functionality and design as required as part of applications updates/changes and/or transformation. JOB SUMMARY: Supports various accounts receivable management efforts for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation's (-CFSC-) Customer Solutions Unit of the North America Business Center (-NABC-). Job Summary

As an Operations Team Member II, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, counts, verifying materials and shipments, accessing computers to update information, as well as point-to-point movement of materials in support of assembly operations.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Work closely with production team to ensure they have the right parts, at the right time in the correct location

  • Run a variety of reports in SAP to track material needs, kit available material, and identify material not allocated to an order

  • Complete cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy in all material transactions

  • Receive and ship materials, process material movements using SAP software.

  • Visually inspect all incoming material and equipment, verifying all items are received and are in good condition.

  • Ensure shipping weights and dimensions are accurate on all records

  • Use proper safety precautions when delivering material and operating equipment

  • Equipment used includes various types of forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, brummel, battery chargers, computer, scales, shrink wrap, wrap, etc.

  • Responsible for training for other Material Handlers

  • Completion of all OSHA and company required training.

  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of contacts within and outside the company.
