  Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to potential students through consistent and effective outreach and follow-up.

• Make outbound calls to prospective students who have expressed an interest in attending the University.

• Meet with potential students to accurately explain program offerings; discuss and advise suitable programs in accordance with the student's interests, qualifications, and career goals.

  Qualifications

  Education/Experience

  Responsibilities

• Advises students about methods to pay for their education, financial aid eligibility, application procedures, financial assistance programs, costs, indebtedness, money management and financial planning; individualizes information to the particular needs and situation of the student.

• Collects and/or analyzes financial data on students to determine financial aid eligibility and makes awards within federal, donor and/or institutional guidelines.

• Evaluates unusual/mitigating circumstance documentation or information provided by the student; exercises judgment by making adjustments or revisions to costs, contribution, need or dependency status as exceptions to the prescribed process.

• Answers questions, inquiries or requests from students, parents, or guardians in person or in writing regarding financial aid programs and eligibility.

• Analyzes system generated reports such as grades and enrollment status or award status to verify continued compliance and eligibility of students receiving aid under federal and institutional guidelines; notify students of changes in eligibility of awards and alternatives to amend the situation.

• Interfaces with students and lenders, employers and/or Student Services staff to resolve concerns.

  Qualifications

  Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• 2-3 years of related experience.

  The Campus Director of Academic Affairs is responsible for leading the delivery of quality student-centered, hands-on (active) learning. As the leader for Academic Affairs at the campus level, this role is central to the University's mission and is directly accountable for student learning and success. The Campus Director of Academic Affairs is responsible for maintaining high levels of academic quality and student satisfaction in order to retain and successfully graduate students, while operating in compliance with University policies and procedures as well as all state, federal and accrediting agency regulations .

  Responsibilities

  Primary Responsibilities

  Student Success

• Maintain high levels of student satisfaction and success as measured by student outcomes (assessment, course completion, certifications, retention, time to completion, graduation.)

• Develop, implement and manage effective student outreach and engagement processes that support the achievement of student outcomes.

• Ensure all academic functions provide excellent student customer service (as measured by the SCEQ.)

• Ensure students have access to tutoring services and academic resources that support their success.

• Monitor and report to the Campus President and VPAA on key metrics including attendance, retention, drops, LDAs, grade distribution, etc.

• Actively promote and drive the attainment of professional certifications.

  Faculty Management

• Manage and lead program directors and department heads ensuring that appropriate academic advising and student outreach is occurring, and that program faculty (especially adjunct faculty) needs are being met as they relate to the classroom environment.

• Perform regular classroom observations to ensure faculty are incorporating active learning techniques into their daily lessons and that regular, constructive and positive feedback is being provided to students. Observations include virtual/remote classroom observations and campus classroom observations as well as observations of engagement in the learning management system (LMS).

• Work with the scheduling team on ensuring that all faculty are appropriately credentialed to teach assigned courses.

• Manage and monitor the faculty workload requirements including curriculum development, professional development, teaching assignments, and tutoring.

• Regularly review open faculty requisitions for well-qualified faculty candidates; communicate with Campus President and University Administration on qualified candidates and work with the Campus President and University Administration in the hiring process for new faculty.

• Orient new faculty to University policies and procedures. Ensure faculty on-boarding is complete for all new faculty (part-time and full time).

• Ensure professional development plans are created for all faculty utilizing appropriate University resources and that these are documented and reviewed annually.

• Conduct annual performance evaluations on all faculty.

• Ensure compliance with the Faculty Workload Policy to include securing approval for any course overload prior to term start.

• Ensure faculty utilize University resources including the LMS, video delivery systems for remote classes, instructional technologies specified in the curriculum, and other appropriate technologies to create an effective learning environment.

• Conduct regularly scheduled academic meetings, in-service training and professional development seminars. Ensure University policies and procedures are clearly communicated to faculty.

• Ensure that faculty comply with all academic policies and procedures

  Curriculum (Program Management)

• Ensure availability of adequate resources for faculty and students including but not limited to classrooms, labs, print materials, equipment and technology to support student learning.

• Ensure Teaching Assistants/Lab Assistants are assigned to all remote classes. Confirm that the assistants have the knowledge, skill and understanding required by the course/lab and is properly trained.

• Assist Career Services in conducting semi-annual advisory boards in accordance with University policy.

• Ensure assessment of the academic programs is occurring at the campus level

• Provide feedback to the appropriate Curriculum Committee and Vice President of Academic Affairs in order to facilitate positive changes to the curriculum.

• Ensure broad-based faculty participation in curriculum development.

  Administration

• Ensure proper implementation of and compliance with academic policies/processes established by the Vice President of Academic Affairs and University Administration.Ensure all necessary data related to the assessment of student learning are captured at the campus (e.g. assessment, certification data and/or other information supporting Institutional Effectiveness plans.)

• Work with University Administration to maintain appropriate faculty levels to ensure academic quality.

• Work with University Administration to ensure efficient use of faculty, classrooms and equipment.

• Ensure the campus is compliant with accrediting bodies and State and Federal agencies.

• Provide input for academic program planning and budgetary requirements to the Campus President, ensuring faculty have input into the process.

• Ensure that all Academic and Judicial Review Boards are conducted in a timely manner in accordance with University policy

• Deliver new student orientation in conjunction with other campus functions.

  Professional/Community Involvement

• Serve on University-level committees as required.

• All other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  Requirements:

  Education/Experience

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution required; terminal degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., etc.) from a regionally accredited institution preferred.

• Five years of experience (required) in an academic administrative role and teaching experience at the college or university level, or related experience.

• Experience in a private sector (for-profit) college a plus.

• Experience in a multi-campus, hands-on learning environment.

• Successful experience with regional accreditation and professional/industry accreditation associated with technology, business, and healthcare programs is highly desirable.

  The Instructional Development Manager is responsible for the design and development of new courses and revisions of existing courses. The role includes heavy emphasis on project management of internal departments and processes and works closely with external publisher partners; including scheduling of content development, training, and launch to ensure timely availability and deliver of high quality, effective course materials. Internally, this role collaborates with key stakeholders such as the program dean or associate dean, textbook manager(s), SMEs, instructional technologists, and faculty development to ensure seamless integration of quality content delivered through multiple modalities.

  Responsibilities

• Serve as internal and external project manager for new course development and for course revision processes, managing schedules, contractors, budgets and resources and communication channels to ensure implementation of quality content delivered within scope, timeline, and budget

• Design, create, and develop engaging online, on ground, and hybrid courses; manage projects to ensure timely delivery, effective use of department resources, and quality of deliverables in accordance to ECPI standards

• Collaborate with internal/external subject matter experts and other team members to design and update program curriculum

• Incorporate feedback from students, course evaluations, subject matter experts, employers, national workplace trends, and other departments to revise and modify courses as needed in collaboration with the program dean's direction

• Use a variety of authoring tools to create interactive media and adaptive learning content and remain current with educational trends and technology, including development and delivery tools

• Provide timely training and information to appropriate departments to effectively and accurately launch new and revised courses

• Pilot new design tools, processes, and standards to establish best practices for the team

• Perform other related duties as assigned

  Qualifications

  Basic Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of adult learning theory, learning styles, and adaptive learning techniques

• Strong technology skills, including the use of virtual desktop technology in the classroom

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  Education/Experience:

• Minimum two years higher education experience with a focus on distance learning

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education or a related field. Master's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

• Three (3) years' experience in the design and development of instructional materials, and proven success in leading a team of creative professionals in the timely completion of assigned projects to established levels of quality

  Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to manage multiple projects and align resources to ensure priorities are met

• Experience using Project Management application software

• Experience using a variety of learning management systems

• Proficiency in utilizing instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories

• Extensive interactive media development skills such as Adobe eLearning Suite, Camtasia, Articulate Studio and Storyline
