This position greets customers and facilitates the patient registration process in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. Interviews and obtains demographic and financial information from patients or their representatives through face-to-face and virtual interactions to provide Essentia Health with the documents and data necessary to ensure appropriate care and compliant, accurate patient registration and billing. This position serves as liaisons between patients and Virtual Patient Registration Representatives and Patient Schedulers. They must be able to complete patient checkout, schedule follow-up appointments per the physician's order, and provide patients with cost estimates and itineraries for their upcoming appointments. Key Responsibilities: - Interviews patients to obtain complete demographic details, financial information, and minimum health information to ensure appropriate care provision. - Obtains copies of insurance cards and other forms of identification, and updates patient information in the medical record as necessary. - Performs point of service data collection, including identifying and collecting patient co-payments and down payments, reconciles the cash drawer, and reports daily deposit records associated with the collection of co-payments to ensure accurate accounting of revenue. - Maintains all assigned work queues according to supervisor's instructions and guidance. - Interacts positively and in a caring manner with patients, co-workers, and others to provide highest level of customer service. - Answers incoming phone calls, schedules appointments, and refers to clinical team as needed. - Sanitizes registration equipment between each use and restocks basic supplies. - Other clerical duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous Patient Access Representative or Patient Scheduler experience preferred

Job Profile Summary Provides a focused cephalocaudal assessment , health status and pre-treatment lab review prior to patients receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy & supportive treatments, central line care, therapeutic phlebotomies, and bladder instillations; confirming patient consent prior to treatment; educating patient on the possible side effects during and after treatment; administering treatments as ordered while assessing for and responding to adverse reactions from these treatments. The goal of infusion nurses is to provide safe care during the administration of high-risk hazardous drugs while utilizing acute assessment and critical thinking skills to prevent severe hypersensitivity or infusion related reactions to avoid hospitalizations or emergency department visits. Provides triage and health advice by phone to patients, consumers, and clients. Utilizes computerized Barton Schmitt /David Thompson evidence based triage protocols to assist in assessing patients' symptoms to arrive at a patient disposition. About our Behavioral Health Team:

• Join a group of 8 adult (soon to be 9) and 4 child and adolescent psychiatrists as part of a Behavioral Health Care Team. Other members of the team include; doctoral level psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RN's and clinical assistants. The Behavioral Health Division provides a spectrum of care for children and adults, including inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison and emergency psychiatry, ECT procedures, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and an outpatient behavioral health clinic. The Division also includes Health Psychology doctorate and master's level psychologists.

• Inpatient programs include an integrated team of a Hospitalist and Pharmacist

• Overnight and weekend call is shared by the physician pool.

• Adult in-patient unit has 38 beds; Child/Adolescent inpatient unit has 16 beds;
