  • Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to

  • Responsible for working with maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs

  • Fill-in and relief responsibility for all Additional Finishes job functions

  • Operates loader and unloader machines, changes set-up, and completes basic maintenance tasks

  • Assists in water treatment duties and application of chemical products

Shift:

  • 1st shift

  • 6:00AM -2:30PM

Primary Objective

  • Performs routine maintenance tasks of a general nature such as cleaning, operating sweeper, and emptying trash receptacles

Major Function and Scope

  • Operate Sit Down and/or Sweeper to maintain warehouse cleanliness

  • Empty trash receptacles and ensure all areas are clean and orderly

  • Load and unload pallets

  • Collect empty and/or broken pallets throughout the facility.

  • Keeps supervisor informed of any problem areas.

Experience and Knowledge Required

Primary Objective

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.

Major Function and Scope:

  • Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.

  • Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.

  • Operates forklift and order picker equipment.

  • Maintains clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc.

  • Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience

  • 1 year Sit-Down Forklift experience.

  • 1-year previous warehouse experience preferred.

Competencies:

  • Good oral and written communications skills.

  • Good record keeping skills.

  • Good listening skills.

  • Accurate measurement capability.

  • Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Primary Objective:

Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred

Addresses complex issues from suppliers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, transportation, customer service, sales and marketing.

Analyzes customer demand, sales forecast, lead times, and safety stock data to determine weekly production schedules for each plant, weekly purchases for each supplier, and/or stocking profiles by item and location

Coordinates product transfer decisions between factories or between manufactured and sourced products.

Uses extensive knowledge of data, systems, and system interfaces to resolve complex problems or suggest supply chain solutions. Evaluates and updates the planning parameters and related data within the planning applications.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Transportation Analyst to join our TEAM! As the Transportation Analyst, we need someone who is ready to work closely with the Operations Manager, dispatchers/planners and RDC on LTL shipments and provide issue resolution.

Primary Objective

The Transportation Analyst is responsible for the track and tracing and issue resolution for Dal-Tile LTL shipments. This role is responsible for acting as a key point of contact for Dal-Tile LTL carriers and resolving discrepancies. This individual is also responsible for analyzing all un-match freight invoices; communicating with carriers, DC personnel, and internal team members while understanding service level agreements and key performance indicators.

Major Function and Scope

Work closely with the Operations Manager, dispatchers/planners and RDC on LTL shipments and provide issue resolution.

Communicates with internal and external customers and carriers on LTL shipment status.

Serve as the main point of contact for Dal-Tile LTL carriers and maintain LTL carrier relationships.

Organize transportation activities for products roll out.

Assist in Freight Audit and Pay process

Owns the Dal-Tile domestic carriers onboarding process and identify areas of improvement.

Special projects and participation in various initiatives, including new system implementation, updates or upgrades.

Provide feedback to management on service issues and all available options to minimize failures.

Perform ad hoc analysis.

Experience and Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Ability to respond effectively to customers, agents, associates and managers.

Ability to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts pertinent to the field.

Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.

Practical knowledge of SAP and/or TMS system strongly desired.

3+ years transportation/distribution experience.

Competencies

Strong analytical capability and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to formulate and implement action plans.

Dal-Tile a subsidiary of Mohawk Indistries is seeking a Sr. Manager - SAP. This role is responsible for the entire IS landscape that supports the Ceramic North American supply chain systems. This includes order processing, logistics planning and execution, S&OP process, supply network optimization, transportation and warehouse management. The position manages technical and functional IS team analysts that support these systems and is responsible for the overall budget, management, and operations of the team. The role will own the relationship between the Supply Chain organization and IS.

What you'll do:

  • Within SAP SD/SCM, work with the Application Architects and the business to successfully perform gap analysis for medium to complex projects and to translate the business requirements and business processes into functional design specifications for SAP configuration and custom SAP development work. Within supply chain, work with business to successfully align strategy and drive IS towards meeting business goals.

  • Drive integration testing across SAP modules and non-SAP systems. Build knowledge of the Enterprise Application Interface in order to efficiently troubleshoot interface issues.

  • Partner with Customer Service, Distribution and Transportation user community to ensure successful and timely User Acceptance Testing.

  • Actively drive issue resolution and closely monitor its progress.

  • Provide SAP SD/ LE knowledge and advice to the Master Data Consultants and Change Management Experts as appropriate.

  • Lead Documenting all implemented solutions and train the SAP Support Specialists to ensure successful end user support.

  • Lead Developing training material for the business key users & conduct key user training. Support the business key users in developing work instructions & conducting end user training

  • Own complete module solutions end-to-end; prototyping, blueprinting, design, build, test, documentation and post go-live support including interfaces & cross module integration.

  • Fully understand and master all the end-to-end, cross-functional and integrated business processes related to the SAP SD module, including integrations with extended business systems

  • Proactively work with Project Managers and Vendor Project Teams to resolve technical issues and to champion closure on business & technical issues related to process, business rules and configuration, in order to achieve the ultimate business goals

  • Actively engage all the different functional teams to improve the suggested solutions and increase the business satisfaction (VOC); effectively communicate needs across projects

  • Ensure quality and best practices in each SAP functional domain by driving and adhering to the Mohawk SAP global solution template, SAP standards, knowledge base & best practices

  • Perform other duties as required.

What you have:

  • Master's degree (preferable) or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related discipline, with a strong interest in / affinity with information technology Or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Minimum of 8 years job specific and hands-on SAP (and associated systems) work experience with demonstrated professional growth and achievement. Prior work experience in a manufacturing industry of comparable size, business diversity, scope and complexity a plus.

  • Good SAP SD, TM, PP, LE and MM process and technical knowledge, with hands-on SAP SD and LE configuration experience. Batch management and ATP configuration is plus.

  • Experience in working cross functional modules SAP WM and FI.

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of ERP applications, system development life cycle, dynamics of applications development projects, Information Technology practices and methods. Knowledge of EAI / integration principles a plus.

  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques and methodology of project management (ASAP and Agile), quality management, and change management

The palletizer removes tile from automatic off bearer, boxes and palletizes for shipment.

  • Marks boxes with appropriate grade of product and other information.

  • Records production.
