Position Summary: Seeking a Survey/CADD Technician to join their growing Surveys & SUE Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall completion of the data processing phase of specific field survey projects. U.S. Residency Required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Performs topographic plotting, terrain modeling, plat preparation, note reduction and design file generation
Perform office survey activities in accordance with Minimum Standards of Practice for Surveying
Operate survey equipment including electronic data collectors, levels, electronic total station, GPS and survey vehicles.
Performs office computations necessary for the completion of task assignments including QA/QC.
Coordinates information for stakeout services
Prepares grade sheets, topographic maps, records of survey, corner records and other survey reports

Work is performed within a general office environment 80% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required 20% of the time, where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.

Work is performed in the field. Ability to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, and lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs as needed. Work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
