The Machinist B position performs a variety of duties within the Operations department and will support various programs across the site. • Use, operate and read inspection gaging equipment including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, comparators, shadow graphs, indicators, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

• Inspection of products both in process and post process

• Perform machine offsets, read and interpret blueprints and drawings, screen product lots

• Replace broken or worn tooling as required

• Advanced data collection, analysis and reporting activities.

• Collect, analyze and utilize SPC data. Collect, enter, analyze and utilize SPC data per Customer requirements. Complete and maintain daily production reports and records.

• Maintain count and traceability of parts including tagging rejected parts. Maintain water levels in chip drums and replacing chip drums

• Transport materials to and from operation as required. Load and unload parts/blanks
