Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Mission Systems Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of design solutions that address complex engineering problems across the full product life cycle of avionics subsystems, and translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, allocate requirements, and define hardware/software interfaces. You will also integrate hardware and software, conduct system tests, and support flight test.

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of system design, system verification, and experience working on cross-functional teams. Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems

Engineering, Computer Engineering, or

equivalent STEM field

- Minimum of 2 projects (school or internship) related to engineering

- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of system design, requirements

definition, and documentation

- Knowledge of system verification, test

documentation and conduct

- Experience troubleshooting hardware/software

- Experience working on cross-functional teams

(Hardware, Software, Integration/Test)

- Familiarity with SysML and Model-Based

Systems Engineering (MBSE) toolsets such as

Cameo or Rhapsody

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

In this role, you will work closely with a team of engineers to develop embedded software for our custom avionics mission processors. Our embedded software includes hardware device drivers, built-in test libraries, and bootloader applications. You may also develop software used to test these mission computers or for operational mission/flight applications. As a member of our Software Engineering team you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals. Responsibilities may include design, source modification or implementation, integration and debugging source code, and performing code reviews. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. The successful candidate will: implement, and administer, a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program, as well as assist in the implementation of all compliant SCI security policies and procedures for classified/proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Successful candidate should have an understanding of industrial security regulations and federal security regulatory requirements of the NISPOM, and DOD 5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Manuals. The candidate must provide support to all preparations for customer reviews on an ongoing basis, and must participate in those reviews. They must also have a track record of success customer review results. Understand established procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted programs. Conducts security education and training programs for SCI. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Looking for a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) to work in a very dynamic high tempo environment to deliver Mission First results! The successful candidate will: implement, and administer, a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program, as well as assist in the implementation of all compliant SCI security policies and procedures for classified/proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Successful candidate should have an understanding of industrial security regulations and federal security regulatory requirements of the NISPOM, and DOD 5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Manuals. The candidate must provide support to all preparations for customer reviews on an ongoing basis, and must participate in those reviews. They must also have a track record of success customer review results. Understand established procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted programs. Conducts security education and training programs for SCI. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. While this is primarily a first shift, Mon-Fri 9X80 work week; mission requirements may include some business travel and work outside normally scheduled hours to include possibly nights and weekends to meet mission requirements.

Responsible for supporting RMS Cyber & Intelligence at multiple locations. Selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all SCI requirements are met to include but not limited to:

Other responsibilities include:

- Accomplish troubleshooting and analysis of difficulties experienced in the field.

- Attend debriefings to aid in the rapid identification of emerging issues that require company intervention to avoid aircraft downtime.

- Document all unusual operation / maintenance problems to ensure the company is apprised of and can identify emerging failure trends.

- Initiate Action Requests (ARs). Identify unique operational problems that require technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to resolve. Provide on-site assistance to company and customer personnel initiating ARs.

- Manages aspects of executing TF-50 programs to enhance understanding of impacts and influences upon new business campaigns. Documents TF-50 technical configuration content in accessible knowledge sharing formats.

- Works in close coordination with IFG Aeronautics Strategy and Business Development, IFG Capture PMs, Proposal Development, and Engineering and Technology performing teams to envision and price aircraft system and software changes, associated test programs, and sustainment elements for the proposed program that meets customer requirements

- Creates documentation of the proposed configuration in the form of summary overview (bubble chart) and configuration matrix to highlight changes from feed-down configuration

- Supports development of campaign Program Summary Master Schedule, Proposal Processing Directive (PPD), Statement of Work (SOW), System Requirements Document (SRD), and other campaign technical documents

- Prepares and briefs proposed technical configurations including system capabilities and features to customer groups such as fighter selection committees

- Working with the Technology Roadmap team and the program team, manages execution of NBF research and development and Contracted Research and Development (CRAD) projects to transition technology to fighter aircraft

- Develops collaborative business relationships with customer program offices, service requirements staff, Government research teams, and industry/supplier partners

- Is accountable for meeting proposal development schedule commitments in a highly dynamic campaign environment

As the Staff Environmental Engineer (Level 4) in Fort Worth, TX, you will develop, administer, and implement environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements. In this role, you will interact with federal, state, and local regulators to resolve compliance issues; establish permit requirements, and assist in federal, state, and local regulatory audits.

Additionally, you will:

- Be responsible for the ISO 14001 Program

- Lead and/or support a variety of environmental programs related to RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, and other government programs at the local, state, and federal level.

- Assist with remediation, environmental reporting, and Go Green implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in STEM (Science Major preferred)

- Technical background or equivalent experience in one or more of the critical skills: environmental program management, environmental reporting, environmental audits.

- Ability to project and program manage multiple simultaneous initiatives and efforts.

- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Stormwater permitting (NPDES, MS4), Air Permitting (NSPS, NESHAP, TCEQ NSR), Waste Management, SPCC, DOT Compliance (Dangerous Goods), Explosives Safety Management (HERO), and Emergency Management/Preparedness.

- Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility with special access.

Desired Skills:

- At least 10 years' experience in a manufacturing level environmental department

- Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001.

- Understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements.

- Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence ESH cultural improvement.

- Certified 14001:2015 Lead Auditor.

Description: The Senior Manager of the Safety Management System (SMS) will be responsible for managing all aspects for the planning, implementation, and operation of Aeronautics' Safety Management System.

The Leader will manage a team of professionals that are responsible for all four components of a SMS that include Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance and Safety Promotion. This position will implement the formal, top-down, organization-wide approach to managing safety risk and assuring the effectiveness of safety risk controls.

Additional responsibilities will include developing and executing a relevant training program, assisting the organization in reviewing and providing recommendations on the overarching safety and airworthiness processes, be responsible for conducting internal program surveys and reviews, and seeking to continually improve the quality of our processes.

The selected candidate will be required to demonstrate their safety advocacy through their behavior, attitude and be able to build and foster relationships across the organization. The selected candidate may be called upon to act as a representative for the organization on government, international and industry committees. It will be important to model and help promote an organizational culture that fosters safety and airworthiness practices through effective leadership.

This position reports directly to the Director of Aviation Safety and Airworthiness.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, be highly collaborative, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate, and produce superior work products under short deadlines. Candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering discipline.

- Must have active Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

- Previous leadership/project/program management experience

- Previous experience working with/presenting to executive leadership

- Comprehensive knowledge of safety management system principles and practices

- Comprehensive knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516, MIL-STD-882 and NAS 9927

- Knowledge of production and quality processes

- Knowledge of investigation techniques and processes

- Ability to lead/manage direct reports and to influence peers, superiors, other employees, and customers

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for scoping functional and technical spares modeling data needs from internal and external USAF/Military source systems and will work across the team to identify and develop solutions that enable quick reaction to changing customer requirements for fleet performance metric data collection, calculation, reporting, analysis/modeling, and visualization. Integration and coordination across the supply team will be critical for target metrics attainment and accurate, sustainable spares buys and repairs. You will collaborate through analytics and logic with the F-22 Sustainment Program Office (SPO) and key Fleet stakeholders to ensure desired performance outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying data compilation to support metrics development, contractual adjudication, and impact assessments.

- Making data driven decisions to support spares modeling outcomes

- Championing supply performance-based reporting efforts and analysis

- Delivering ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support senior management requirements.

- Collaborating across multiple teams and interfacing with the customer to ensure spares needs and metrics data analysis drive desired performance outcome.

- Background in STEM related field (Aero, Mechanical, Software, etc.), operations research, systems engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Management, Decision Sciences, Data Science, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management

- Understanding of statistics with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - specifically, design of experiments, statistics, marginal analysis, linear/non-linear programming, and/or optimization knowledge

- Experience with data mining and cleansing, recognizing and correcting errors/discrepancies and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.

- Experience with Sustainment of Air Vehicle platform (such as Integrated Fighter Group (IFG), F-35, etc.) and/or with Logistics Information Systems

- In depth knowledge of GOLD, SAP, or PRIDE systems
