Calibrates electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards.

Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.

Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.

Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Description: You will be the F-16 Build Team, Production Lead - Second Shift located at our Greenville, SC site. In addition to standard job description tasks, the Production Lead will be responsible for providing status of work documents and work accomplished in their work area.

What You Will Be Doing

The F-16 Production Lead will be required to interface with multiple functional organizations, in addition to the area supervisor and crew to resolve issues or constraints in the aircraft assembly/production environment.

The candidate will be the intermediary between the aircraft assembly crew and production supervision and provide technical guidance to the crew for the assembly of aircraft components.

In this capacity the lead will status, communicate and support production goals and objectives of the day/week, assess skill and complexity of tasks, issue work assignments, establish nominal expectation of tasks by obtaining personal contract for each task period of performance with each of the employees; set, check and adjust to meet realization and build performance objectives.

Instill product disciplines to align with Production imperatives of Safety, Quality Schedule & Cost which include but not limited too; fall protection, critical moves and crane lifts, use & disposal of hazardous materials, adherence and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), material handling and storage of staged and work-in-process (WIP) parts, chemical control and labeling, clean as you go, housekeeping, Tool & FOD controls.

The candidate will be required to support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, advise on and implement innovations and process improvements, as well as maintain 6S/lean processes for their area of responsibility.

Production Lead will be considered a working lead that will maintain certifications and qualifications to perform production tasks as required as well as other associated duties.

* No Clearance is required to start. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG). Basic Qualifications:

1. Current Secret security clearance investigation within 5 years from the investigation date.

2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security/SCI clearance if and when local mission requirements dictate.

3. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) accesses.

4. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.

What You Will Be Doing

The position is a hands-on aerospace-engineering hardware-focused test technician located within the E&T Labs department.

The primary job responsibility is the mechanical test and evaluation of aerospace-grade materials, prototype parts and assemblies, and production parts and assemblies in support of internal customers for research and development projects and contracted programs.

Requested tasks are verified and evaluated with the test requester and scheduled in an environment where there are often competing and conflicting needs to be resolved.

When necessary to conduct the request, new testing methods are evaluated and standard processes developed.

The test results are reported, reviewed as required with the supervisor or manager, and then communicated to the customer.

Additional duties may include the design of test fixtures and equipment to enable various mechanical tests and/or sample configurations.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical tasks and 5 years or more of experience.

The Quality professional will be responsible for the strategic leadership and performance; specifically, supplier(s) performance, continuous improvement, talent development, training, and knowledge continuity. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert in Supplier Quality Engineering and as an Advisor for the Quality team.

This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions, and leverage technology into Missiles & Fire Control (MFC).

What You Will Be Doing

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Working with Supplier Quality Field Engineers, first article inspection, Production Process Baseline, surveillance, and product line validations as outlined by AS9102 and applicable company and industry standards, and special process survey scheduling.

-Support efforts for new/redesigned hardware, including representing quality during design review and supplier selections.

-Participate (as required) in supplier's failure/diagnosis and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

-Provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters.

-Ensure supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified, along with interfacing with supplier daily.

-Drive strategies resulting in optimal business methods and practices for strengthening the Quality Management System and talent development.

-Develop and implement processes to optimize program execution while driving out risks.

-Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams and Supplier Management Teams to ensure quality standards are in place.

-Utilize quality methodologies and Missiles and Fire Control policies and procedures.

-Identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices using resources like Causal Analysis to drive Corrective Action and Preventive Action.

We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team as a Systems Integration Engineer.

We have a Weapon System level view of the FBM Program with activities related to integrating the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) missile into the submarine weapon system, as well as supporting efforts to integrate missile subsystems into the flight vehicle design.

As a Systems Engineer for the Systems Integration Team on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will:

- Serve as an integration lead for the Missile System to Guidance System Interface

- Lead the definition and management of Missile/Guidance interfaces by working with system and subsystem organizations and external contractors supporting the program

- Represent the organization at Working Groups involving customer and external organizations

- Support the system and subsystem requirement decomposition and allocation process with the Subsystem Technical and Requirements teams

- Seek out new opportunities for incorporating best-practices and standards across FBM, LM Space, and the industry at-large (tools, concepts, methods, etc.)

- Develop comprehensive solutions to sophisticated problems that connect the detailed, technical needs to transformational concepts and create opportunities for innovation

- Lead the definition, analysis, and recommendation of Trade Study options related to the Missile-Guidance system interface

- Perform data and document reviews and provide feedback for technical and program documentation

- Support systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution and find opportunities for build flow and test efficiencies

Successful candidates typically have 14+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

- Knowledge and application of Systems Engineering processes and one or more Systems Integration functions including:

- System trade studies methodology and/or System modeling

- Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development

- System Integration, Test and/or Verification

- Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies

- Design reviews

- Demonstrated understanding of Navigation, Guidance, and Controls (NG&C)

- Extensive experience leading teams in generation of technical data products

- Extensive experience with the integration, design, test, or analysis of Electrical, RF, or Software products or subsystems

- Highly effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements

- Demonstrated ability to team across organizational boundaries and geographical locations to collaborate with and influence others

- Active DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

- Degree in Systems, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent), INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate

- Familiar with Agile tools and methodology (JIRA) and demonstrated digital transformation experience.

- Familiar with spacecraft/missile architecture design, development, integration, test, with knowledge of space, missile and launch systems at the component through system level

- Validated understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors

- Ability to absorb technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on constrained schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data

- Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program

- Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution vital to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations

- Budget Proposal development and budget tracking of multiple projects

- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations

- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change

- Prior experience with major milestone reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR)

- Experience in the design, development, and production phases of a contract

- Experience working on customer led working groups with multiple contractors

- Experience with MBSE in DOORS and Cameo

- Experience with the FBM program, working with the Navy, or on the FBM Guidance system interface.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Description: Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment Team! This position is located at JASDAF Base Nyutabaru, in Japan! The successful candidate will relocate to Japan, working in-country as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics technical interface to the on-site customer (Operations and Maintenance) in resolving issues arising from aircraft maintenance or modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft.

The preferred candidate will either be a Vehicle Systems (VS/APG), Mission Systems (MS/Avionics), or Supportable Low Observable (SLO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) or be an emerging authority who has the skill set to accomplish troubleshooting and analysis of APG/Vehicle Systems or Avionics/Mission Systems. SLO and structural repairs. Interested candidates are expected to commit two years on-site.

Other responsibilities include:

- Accomplish troubleshooting and analysis of difficulties experienced in the field.

- Attend debriefings to aid in the rapid identification of emerging issues that require company intervention to avoid aircraft downtime.

- Document all unusual operation / maintenance problems to ensure the company is apprised of and can identify emerging failure trends.

- Initiate Action Requests (ARs). Identify unique operational problems that require technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to resolve. Provide on-site assistance to company and customer personnel initiating ARs.

- Provide training to customer personnel. Must be able to work and interact with the maintainer as well as the professional engineers from other F-35 companies as a peer.

- Some travel required; candidates must be willing and able to deploy with customer to possible hazardous duty locations. Long term deployments may be required. US Department of Defense (DoD) mandated vaccinations may be required.

- Applicant must be able to work and communicate well both orally and written in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with customer personnel at all levels.

- Provide support for the assigned site on aircraft ground maintenance and operational limitations. Direct on-site support as requested by customer, site manager or program management. Lead and track multiple engineering efforts and provide periodic status to customer and program management.

- Must be able to obtain F-35 Special Program Access. Must have at least an Interim Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that will require special access.

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

* Combination of 6 years experience on 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-22 or F-35) with experience troubleshooting Vehicle Systems (VS\\APG) and/or Mission Systems (MS/Avionics)

* Final Transferable Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

* 3 years of experience with Avionics/Mission Systems (MS)

-Performing complex calibrations using Metcal/Surecal/VEE/TME

We're seeking a highly motivated inspector to join our team in the Microelectronics Center at the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Orlando, FL facility.

You'll be working on the forefront of production activities for our most cutting edge missile and fire control product lines such as the Hellfire II Missile, Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile, Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod and F-35 Sensor.

An inspector position within manufacturing will review and evaluate hardware using prints, schematics, sketches, and other procedures. The candidate will work with a strong and dedicated engineering and manufacturing cross-discipline group in conducting in-depth failure investigations and cutting edge equipment to ensure product quality is maintained through manufacturing processes.

What You Will Be Doing

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Performs complex in-process and final inspections on all Microelectronics Assemblies.

-Verifies traceability of hardware, verifies documentation and electronic systems are accurate and complete, documents defects and verifies rework was completed according to documentation.

-Performs incoming testing such as lead fatigue, temp aging and solderability, capacitance, and insulation resistance.

-Coordinates other testing with various labs and compares results of inspections and testing with specification requirements and determines acceptance or rejection.

-Works from engineering drawings, sketches, specifications, manufacturing process plans, manufacturing processes, inspection test plans and other written instructions.

-Performs inspections under a microscope. Performs measurements using a smart scope, calipers, micrometers, Optical Measuring System, or other necessary measuring tools.

-Perform and inspect solder.

-Verify requirements for shelf life and create labels for materials.

May conduct required audits in assigned work areas to determine compliance with applicable quality procedures. Calculates necessary mathematical corrections for both physical and electrical or other required characteristics. May be required to assists and familiarizes other employees as needed.
