Your role:

You are a dedicated Engineering Manager leading the Aeronautics Combat Systems Electro-Optical Team, primarily focused on the F-35 program. This exciting position is with the Combat Systems Hardware team located in Fort Worth, Texas. You will manage, mentor and guide a team of engineers with diverse backgrounds and encourage innovation and technical leadership. As a leader you will foster personal growth and enhance team culture to foster an inclusive work environment for your team. The Electro-Optical Engineering Manager candidate will have the following responsibilities:

- Technical management of people, hardware, and software supporting development, production, and sustainment programs.

- Technical lead supporting project execution in development, production, and sustainment programs.

- Coordination with integrated product teams including contracts, subcontracts, suppliers, engineering, engineering support functions, management, and customers to support program and project execution.

- Interpretation of customer requirements, creation of system and equipment level requirements, and development of statements of work, implementation, test, integration, and closure.

- Develop your technical leadership skillset to become an effective leader.

Basic Qualifications:

-Degree in an Electrical Engineering, Optics, or equivalent from an accredited college

Our tasks vary from incorporating outstanding ECNs, checking, and verifying engineering drawings, which include Structures, Systems Installation, Harness, Wire Installation, AEI, Supplier SCD, Standards, etc. Our works involve almost everything from nose to tail and from wing tip to wing tip. We check drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, and accuracy of calculations and dimensioning. Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.

What You Will Be Doing

Experienced Engineering Checker to evaluate and investigate pertinent design factors on F-16 retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models and drawings including all related design data. Identify design compatibility errors and verify all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users. Ensure the engineering design, models/drawings and related data meet all contractual, company, and Program requirements. Utilize working knowledge and application experience of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing based on ASME Y14.5 along with ASME Y14.100 Engineering Drawing Practices. Utilize working knowledge and application experience on a computer aided design system with 3D experience. Successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite. Very detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills. Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,900 - $130,000 . - Provide real time, operational support to various teams for the operation and maintenance of Ground and Space system software and equipment

- Ensure system Ground and Space functionality during operations and testing environments

- Provide system maintenance support for a large system of computers (Linux environment), associated switching, network, communication circuits, and equipment

- Identify system problems, perform troubleshooting, correcting, and documenting both software and hardware failures

- Support daily system configuration management during operations and system upgrades/modifications

- Ensure inter-system capabilities with multiple Remote Ground Stations including Satellite Control Network

- Provide limited database system administration

- Provide operations subject matter expertise to technical working groups

- Participate in Ground and Space anomaly resolution working groups

- Analyze and validate system performance

- Thoroughly document system deficiencies

- Provide technical recommendations and guidance to Ground and Satellite operators during system failures and recovery
