This position is based out of our Dayton, OH office with travel and remote work options supporting out-of-area DoD, Federal Civilian, and commercial customers as required.

The Senior Acquisition SME will provide multi-disciplinary support to government system acquisition program management offices and will serve as an adviser to government personnel. Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling acquisition programs; organizing, training, and supervising a support staff. Will work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings.

The ideal candidate for this position possess U.S. Air Force and Space acquisition experience with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Acquisition experience from other DoD service acquisition organizations is also considered highly relevant. Serco is seeking someone who is versatile, with a broad background and demonstrated ability to produce quality work. Must be comfortable in a challenging, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Applicants must also have excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues.

This individual is responsible for providing acquisition management support services to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of acquisition services in support of the customer's mission. Services include some or all of the following:

  • Requirements, program strategies, and acquisition plan development

  • Project execution

  • Bid and proposal review/analysis

  • Other related services associated with the acquisition process

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A DoD Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance

  • Master's Degree

  • 7 years of program management of major acquisition programs

  • 5 years in a leadership position

  • Extensive knowledge of Air Force and Space program management policies and procedures and application to development, production and fielding of major weapon systems

  • Extensive experience with Defense Acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives required

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and a part of a collaborative team

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Experience working with Service specific Rapid Capabilities Offices and Research Laboratories

  • Experience executing alternative/rapid acquisition authorities

  • Broad experience with development, coordination and communication of program management strategies and recommendations with mid- and senior-level Service and OSD personnel

As the AT/FP GSC Systems Administrator at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Test Lab in Charleston, South Carolina, you will support the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) N3S Public Safety Systems Ashore Programs and their mission is to design, procure, integrate, install, and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters.

The AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the CNIC N3S AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC), and CNIC Regional Program Managers (RPMs). The primary goal of the CNIC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain AT/FP Ashore Program systems in accordance with their operational requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for setting up and maintaining a system or specific components of a system (e.g. installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software; establishing and managing user accounts; overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks; implementing operational and technical security controls; and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures)

  • Provide critical preventive and corrective maintenance, information assurance, asset management, technical systems updates, service call resolution, and configuration management for C4I systems worldwide

  • Provide Operation and Maintenance support including patch management/testing, STIG implementation and mitigation, information assurance/security, anti-virus, and data backup solutions

  • Provide system administration and engineering support for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A high school diploma/GED with 5+ years' of experience in the field or in a related area

  • An active DoD Secret clearance

  • An active DoD IAT Level II compliant certification

  • Strong understanding of current Microsoft supported Windows operating systems

  • Experience in the administration of Window's Active Directory domain management to include Group Policy Object management, VMware ESXi, data base solutions such as Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle SQL database, and data backup solutions such as Retrospect, BackupExec, and Macrium Reflect

  • Experience with the implementation of vulnerability remediation and STIG configurations for system hardening.

  • Ability to create Standard Operating Procedure documentation for designs and implementation strategies of new hardware and software deployments

  • Ability to produce system specifications, design requirements, test evaluation planning documents, and technical publications and reports

  • Familiarity with DoD networking and security accreditation requirements

  • Ability to support project at client sites where working conditions may vary

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed

  • McAfee HBSS, ACAS, SCAP, STIGs, VRAM, eMASS, and DoD RMF.

If you desire an opportunity to help the Navy and Marine Corps, Serco has a great opportunity for you! As a Post-Delivery Trial Card Database Analyst in Pascagoula, MS you will be on a team that is evaluating and managing the delivery of new amphibious ships to the fleet.

This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret DoD level clearance post-employment.

Our team is led by a Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, each having decades of experience working in the DoD and Shipbuilding Industry. Our Amphibious Warfare Operation provides critical services to nearly all U.S. Navy amphibious ships and craft. Serco supports the U.S. Navy as a prime contractor providing amphibious warfare and expeditionary professional support services. We are committed to providing the U.S. Navy with the engineering and subject matter expertise to face all challenges, and welcome those with dedication, talent, and skill sets to join the Serco Amphibious Warfare Team. You will work closely with Government and industry professionals as well as shipbuilders and other support personnel. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact toward our military defense and safety of our sailors and marines.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide semi-professional technical support for engineers working in such areas as research, design, development, testing, or manufacturing process improvement. Work pertains to electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment.

  • Provide trial card management support to the hull manager and program office onboard naval vessels during all sea trials and rehearsals, including underway.

  • Prepare design drawings and assist with the design, evaluation, and/or modification of machinery and equipment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A High-school Degree/GED with 2 or more years of relevant experience. Individuals with college degrees or technical school or military certifications will be considered.Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

  • Must have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret DoD level clearance post-employment.

  • United States (U.S.) citizenship.

  • Ability to operate personal computers and have good knowledge and operational abilities with Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility. Some work will occur within an industrial field office, outdoors and/or aboard ship while the ship is undergoing construction, alteration, activation, overhaul, repair, and/or underway trials. Walking through potentially uneven terrain ashore and onboard, and climbing ladders throughout naval vessels to accomplish ship checks will be required . Exposure to high noise levels, uncomfortable temperatures, heights, or other industrial safety conditions will require use of personal protective clothing and equipment.

  • Ability to travel 50% to support activities in a shipyard or naval facility or on-board ship while underway.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Experience in Post Delivery on DoD/Navy/U.S. Coast Guard Ship Programs.

  • Experience in managing ship repair availabilities and processing trial cards.

  • Amphibious warship ship construction or ship repair work experience is ideal.

Serco supports the U.S. Navy & Marines Reserve unit as a prime for their Psychological Health Outreach Program (PHOP) contract providing behavioral health screenings, referral service support and outreach to Reservists, and their family members as well as consultation to Home Training Center (HTC) and Naval Reserve Center (NRC) leaders.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct behavioral health screenings with Reservists and eligible Family Members to determine current psychological health needs.

  • Link at Reservists and their Family Members to -good fit services- based on identified needs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes to document all service encounters.

  • Prepare outreach materials such as flyers, brochures and newsletters to educate clients on a wide spectrum of psychological health topics and resources.

  • Provide briefings and consultation to Reservists, Family Members and high-level military leaders.,

  • Attend Meetings as required/requested, including staff meetings, training workshops and community meetings.

  • Coordinate with regional site lead and team members to ensure all program data required for reporting purposes is provided in a timely manner.

  • Travel one to two times a month on weekends to various HTCs and NRCs throughout the region.

This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition life-cycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.Our Senior Training Program Manager (FMS), located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, supports the F-35 Training Systems (3.9). Program Management Office (PMO).

The Systems Program Manager shall provide program management support to the Training Systems and Simulation PMO and their FMS Customers in the development, delivery, operation, and maintenance of all F-35 training systems, to include all Pilot Training Devices, Maintenance Training Devices, and the Joint Simulation Environment. The F-35 Training Systems are critical enablers to producing Mission Qualified Pilots and Maintainers while tracking their training status throughout the individuals' career. Serco is excited to begin support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JPO). This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your DoD Secret clearance.

Our Senior Program Manager, Program Integrator position is located in Crystal City, Arlington, VA, and provides program management direct supportto theDirector, Deputy Director/Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Directorate of Cyber Integration within the F-35 Joint Program Office with the purpose to integrate the activities of F-35 Program Director of Cyber Integration (DCI) teams to minimize gaps and seams in program execution. Assure all cyber planning is fully integrated with overall program effort and that of other participating services, agencies, and countries as applicable. Monitor and track status on Program Management Office (PMO) and DCI Governance Action Items. Assist in coordination and delivery of information and capabilities briefing for program management reviews and presentations. Develop presentations on program status, accomplishments, and progress to all levels of DoD, JPO Governance Forums, and industry. Provide strategic guidance to produce critical outcomes for program success. Supports the DCI Chief of Staff on matters internal and external to DCI. This duty requires initiative and the ability to work independently given strategic guidance to produce critical outcomes for program success.

The Integrator will attend Program level briefings and meetings internally and externally as directed by the Director and Deputy/CISO as their designated representative. The Integrator shall ensure detailed feedback is provided to each as well as passing along tasking given during the briefing or meeting. When the Integrator cannot resolve an issue, the Integrator will develop and recommend courses of action to the PM that will satisfy the Enterprise's critical objectives and priorities. Develop and prepare a variety of correspondence and other documentation (i.e., formal letters, position papers, reports, staff studies, staff summary packages, briefings, charts, bullet background papers, etc.) as tasked by the PMO leadership.

This is a Hybrid/Telework position.

You will be part of a dynamic team of F-35 JPO Program Managers and Analysts who works closely with the customer and other key F-35 National Security and Allied stakeholders to deliver quality F-35 systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Execution Integration/Management Duties:

  • Ensures tasking, actions and direction flow from the VS workflow to appropriate individuals and organizations, with an understanding of priorities, tone, and intent.

  • Cognizant that DCI and Staff must closely align and function in direct support of the DCI Director, Deputy Director/CISO and that these positions in particular require mutually supportive coordination of combined effort, and therefore must work to affect such interdependent support and activity.

  • Provide Program Status Updates to DCI Leadership Team, Services, Partners, and F-35 Governance Forums.

  • Understand, report, and mitigate weapon's program risks.

  • Promulgates assigns or arranges for management control techniques and procedures to provide accurate and comprehensive information concerning the status and progress of assigned programs.

  • Synthesizes critical management issues, documentation, and relevant information to support program reviews.

  • Continuous Improvement and Cost Savings/Affordability Initiatives Duties:

  • Formulate and develop innovative support concepts which minimize cost while maintaining aircraft availability.

  • Communication Duties:

  • Communicate and thereby represents the DCI, both internally and externally. All actions are performed with the clear and fundamental understanding that these actions are in primary support of the DCI Director, Deputy Director/CISO.

  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of information and capabilities briefing for the program reviews and presentations.

  • Develop presentations on program status, accomplishments, and progress to all levels of DoD, JPO Governance Forums, and industry.

  • Integration Duties:

  • Interfaces with every DCI lead/direct report internally as well as directly with the senior staff personnel of offices internal DCI, and also with industry. This interaction is most often a coordinating and collaboration function and not a direct report relationship - the critical purpose of this position is -enabling-, -coordinating- and -maximizing- the actions of others to integrate across organization operations and enhance the ability of the VS Directorate to conduct analysis and make informed decisions impacting directly on the program. These decisions will have significant development, operational and programmatic impacts for the entire life cycle of the program.

  • Integration between with DCI and other JPO functionals (e.g. Security, OSI/PJ) branch teams and DCI Senior Staff and Functionals.

  • Represent the Program at meetings, conferences and workshops.

  • Assist in reporting periodic and comprehensive assessments and evaluations of Country program goals and objectives that will provide a basis for long-range planning to improve F-35 Program management.

  • Monitor and track status on PMO and JPO Governance Action Items.

  • Assures that all planning is fully integrated with the overall program Team effort and that of other participating services, agencies, and countries when involved.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Master's Degree in the stated discipline or a Bachelor's Degree plus 4 years additional work experience related to the labor category functional description.

  • The ability to provide on-site support at F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA no

  • At least ten (10) years' experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, in weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of six (6) years out of 10 years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning. At least three (3) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).

  • Leadership experience in US Service-related military operations or defense acquisition program management related to weapons system acquisition, employment, and life cycle management.

  • Knowledge in DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5000.2 (Operation of the Defense Acquisition System), DoD Directive (DODD) 5530.03 (International Agreements), and the International Cooperation in Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (IC in AT&L) Handbook

  • To be provide subject matter expertise to support F-35 program in delivering the weapons system.

  • To assist with task support of acquisitions, financial management, risk management, systems engineering, total ownership cost determination, acquisition coordination, and communications.

  • To demonstrate knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment.

  • To demonstrate knowledge of the system equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases.

  • The ability to travel 10%.

  • DAWIA Certification Requirement:Program Management (A) Level II or a BS or BA degree or PMI certification and1 year equivalent to at least the DA-4 level of Specialized Experience.

  • Program Management experience in Defense Programs, specifically in aviation Sustainment and Logistics.

  • Experience of working in a Systems Program Office.

Our Program Analyst, as a recognized authority in the principles of program analysis and acquisition management, supports our team in applying knowledge and expertise in acquisition program management and analysis to specified programs throughout their life cycles. Is a recognized authority in the acquisition and analysis process and areas relating to acquisition and analysis policy matters including acquisition streamlining, integrated systems management, manning, best practices, and lessons learned. Our Analyst provides expertise and innovation in interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. Applies principles, theories, and concepts to the exploration of the subject area, definition of scope, and selection of problems for investigation. Responsible for assisting in the coordination efforts regarding programmatic, technical, and sustainment areas, including program management, systems engineering, personnel management, scheduling, risk management, contracting, acquisition, budgeting, funding, configuration management, integration, testing, and life cycle logistics. Manages work-flow and assists in coordination between Partners and Foreign Military Sales (FMS), other PMO, functionals, and industry as tasked. In this role, you will:

  • Assist PMO in execution management:

  • Analyzing budget execution and earned value management for assigned contract Work Breakdown Structure elements.

  • Provide Program Status Updates to JPO Leadership, Services, Partners, and F-35 Governance Forums.

  • Assist in maintaining the technical baselines for assigned systems and sub-systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or discipline, or an Associate degree plus an additional four years of acquisition program management, analysis, and planning related experience (total of 10 years).

  • The ability to provide on-site support at F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) located in Crystal City, VA no

  • At least six (6) years' experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, in weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management; and a minimum of four (4) years out of 6 years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning. At least two (2) years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).

  • Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition to plan, organize, and coordinate critical aspects of the development, production, deployment, and sustainment of systems, subsystems, and equipment.

  • Knowledge of the FAR for the development of contracts and contract modifications required for the acquisition of logistics supportability products.

  • To demonstrate experience in the program/project status, schedules, and DoD reporting.

Serco is excited to announce we are adding additional support to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office. This contract provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F-35 program, to include development, production, and sustainment.

In its role as the focal point for all F-35 Fleet Users, to include U.S. Services, International Partners, and Foreign Military Sales programs to ensure ID integration throughout the F-35 enterprise and to ensure the delivery of 5th Generation combat capability to Warfighters in support of coalition operations. The Contractor shall provide support to the National Deputies who are the F-35 Program's senior national representative for their Participant country within the JSF Program Office and are responsible for providing day-to-day representation of the cognizant Partner nation on all matters related to the F-35 Program. The Contractor shall provide support to the U.S. Service Deputies who are assigned to the JPO to ensure immediate/critical U.S. Service insight to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The Contractor shall provide support to the Foreign Military Sales USG Program Managers who represent the Foreign Military Sales Foreign Liaison Officers for country within the JSF Program Office and are responsible for providing day-to-day representation of the cognizant Foreign Military Sales nation on all matters related to the F-35 Program.

Our FMS Program Analysts serve as FMS subject matter experts and use information derived from military FMS policy to determine courses of action. Reads through highly technical full spectrum reporting and doctrinal materials to distill facts for decision makers. Attends technical symposiums and technical training as directed by the client. Conducts or supports technical training classes with briefings and demonstrations of technical techniques and tools. Participates in development of technical exchange meetings. Works directly with customers and team members to determine project scope and specifications. Provides research and analysis to support FMS activities. May support development and analysis of products, including training modules, evaluation tools, etc. Presents analysis or products to customers. May support policy and procedure development for JPO or community-wide support. May interact with outside customers and functional peer groups. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Leads and directs the work of others.

In this role you will;

  • International Integration and support - assist ID in facilitating the programs of two types of countries associated with the F-35 program: -Partners- (also referred to as -Participant-), -who are signatories to the JSF Production, Sustainment and Follow-on Development Memorandum of Understanding (JSF PSFD MOU), and -FMS Customers,- which have a signed Letters of Requests (LORs) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) for purchasing aircraft, related material, and services

  • International Programs - Assist ID in supporting National Deputies and their assistants in representing each of the F-35 Partner nations resident in ID.Assist ID in supporting Service Deputies and their assistants in representing each of the F-35 US Services resident in ID.

  • Assist the USG Program Manager (PM) in representing each FMS customer and managing the F-35 LOA that is the foundation of each FMS country's F-35 program.Assist FMS PMs, Service Deputies and USG Partner country managers in leading USG activities and Program Management Reviews (PMRs) for each country in the F-35 Program to ensure each program remains on track

  • Assist the New Business team within ID in conjunction with industry and other USG security cooperation entities, in providing and coordinating F-35 information to countries considering acquiring the F-35, and in assisting in the USG effort to build a LOA for aircraft acquisition.

  • International Agreements - Assist ID in the development, management, negotiation, and implementation of International Agreements, to include MOUs (such as JSF SDD MOUs [2001] and JSF PSFD MOU and in implementing arrangements, and LOAs.Assist ID in coordinating the review and approval of Decision Memoranda by all Partners.

  • Coordinated Capabilities - Assist ID in serving as a cross-PMO coordination focal point for ID country requirements, PMR action items and ongoing, non-U.S. development, sustainment, and production challenges.Assist ID in maintaining ID Scorecards and coordinating the positions of ID customers to the JPO.

  • External Interfaces - assist ID in coordinating with U.S. agencies on any programmatic or policy matter pertaining to the USG's F-35 cooperative and FMS programs established with ID countries.

  • International Communication - Assist ID in maintaining open lines of communication and maximum transparency between the F-35 program and external stakeholders (i.e., industry and international Ministries of Defense) with and through Partner National Deputies and FMS Foreign Liaison Officers (FLOs).

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • The ability to provide onsite support at Crystal City, Arlington, VA, F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) location no

  • Five (5) years of recent work experience related to international acquisition programs.

  • Five (5) years' experience in DoD aircraft acquisition or at least ten (10) years of aircraft operational experience.

  • Master's degree in related fields, or a bachelor's degree with an additional four years of experience in international acquisition programs (Nine (9) years total).

  • Experience in defense acquisition program management related to weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle management;

  • Experience with DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5000.2, DoD Directive (DODD) 5530.03 (International Agreements), and the International Cooperation in Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (IC in AT&L) Handbook.

The Fleet Administrator (FA) performs a variety of moderately complex-to-complex duties to include supervision of all office functions and is the central point of contact and liaison for administrative issues. Distinguishing characteristics include exceptional functional and situational reasoning skills, advanced verbal aptitude, accounting, data entry, interpersonal and communication skills.

The FA normally works under general supervision but may serve in the capacity of Lead supervising one or more co-workers in an office setting. As a Fleet Administrator II, you can expect to:

The Fleet Administrator's duties include scheduling appointments, drafting letters and otherwise relieving the Project Manager of clerical work and minor administrative details. Reads and routes incoming mail and monitors electronic mail, prepares outgoing mail, locates and attaches appropriate files to correspondence, transcribes notes on computer, composes and files correspondence and other records. The Fleet Administrator's responsibilities include Human Resources, payroll and finance. Serco supports the US Navy on a Carriers contract supporting the acquisition of Carriers. We are seeking a motivated individual to provide contracting support to the U.S. Navy as they acquire new aircraft carriers. The PEO Aircraft Carriers Contracts group needs assistance in managing their ship procurement contracts.

In this role, you will support the Contracts team by tracking contract costs, monitoring changes, tracking CDRLs and developing inputs for progress briefs. You will use Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to read and understand contracts, build tracking tools, and create briefs to summarize contractual status. You will analyze invoice data and help the customer track cash flow related to the budget.

This position is in the Washington, DC area. Applicants must have a DoD Secret clearance.

In this role, you will perform a variety of duties such as:

  • Track contracts issued for new aircraft carrier construction and various support contracts.

  • Track CDRL requirements and maintain an invoices tracker spreadsheet that tracks the invoice values for new aircraft carrier contracts.

  • Maintain configuration management on funding modifications and Technical Instruction (TI) revisions by building and updating spreadsheet trackers.

  • Support the COR with tracking and assisting with the funding deobligations and obligations on the construction contracts to make sure all funding is accounted for properly.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An Active DoD Secret clearance which is required at time of application.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Two to four years of experience with contracts support, data analysis, and/or project management.

This is a full-time position that works primarily in Franklin, but also performs work at other customer locations. Travel between locations is in a company assigned service truck.

As a Fleet Mechanic, you can expect to:

  • Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.

  • Perform inspections, repair and maintenance operations on a variety of powered, non-powered equipment, and vehicles.

  • Ability to work on a diverse equipment set, which includes mowers, cranes, backhoes, trailers, trenchers, bulldozers, excavators, wood chippers, asphalt laying equipment, diggers and pole setting equipment, aerial manlifts, cranes, medium and heavy trucks and mounted/non-mounted attachments.

  • Operate and perform diagnosis on equipment, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, routes and replaces hydraulic lines, check system for leaks and proper operation

  • Perform diagnosis and repair complex electrical systems.

  • Perform minor welding repairs when required in a field environment.

  • Perform routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections checking, DOT inspections and replaces fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, etc.

  • Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.

  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Work under general supervision and is a self-starter.

  • The list of duties does not include ALL duties that may be assigned to this position.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 3 years of related experience.

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.

  • Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.

  • CDL B is helpful, but not required

This is a high profile and challenging position supporting U.S. Navy acquisition of Naval Weapon Systems. This great opportunity will allow you to take a leadership role in supporting U.S. Navy system development for our ships and sailors. Serco provides technical support to its customer, a defense acquisition program management office which is responsible for the development, acquisition, production, fielding, and lifetime support of surface ship missile systems. This senior-level position has aspects of systems engineering, engineering management, and other related skills. This position provides technical and management support in missile development, integration, testing, and fielding development of risks and risk mitigation plans.

In this role you will:

  • Develop, communicate, and execute plans under government program office leadership for the integration of new or existing air defense weapons with existing or new sensors and combat systems.

  • Communicate and coordinate with government and industry stakeholder organizations such as acquisition program offices, Navy labs and field activities, industry partners, and representatives of the Navy requirements community and the Fleet.

  • Manage funding for integration efforts on behalf of the program office. Make recommendations for funding requests from sponsors and program offices and plan and recommend funding allocations to supporting activities. Support the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) budgeting process.

  • Support planning for test events with the test community, identifying test resources, determining resource availability, supporting the scheduling of test equipment, and other related tasks.

  • Develop risks and risk mitigation plans.

  • Coordinate where required with the scientific community.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This is a currently a hybrid role with three days per week normally in person in the office.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

  • Ten (10) years' experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition, naval weapon systems, acquisition program office, or related industry experience.

  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required with the ability to maintain per contract requirements.

  • Excellent organizational, managerial, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Experience with MS Office 365 collaborative tools such as SharePoint and Teams, and familiarity with data visualization tools.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • 10% travel is required for this role.

As a Fleet Mechanic, you can expect to:

  • Perform operational and functional inspections, repairs and maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.

  • Perform inspections, repair and maintenance operations on a variety of powered, non-powered equipment, and vehicles.

  • Ability to work on a diverse equipment set, which includes mowers, cranes, backhoes, trailers, trenchers, bulldozers, excavators, wood chippers, asphalt laying equipment, diggers and pole setting equipment, aerial manlifts, cranes, medium and heavy trucks and mounted/non-mounted attachments.

  • Operate and perform diagnosis on equipment, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, routes and replaces hydraulic lines, check system for leaks and proper operation

  • Perform diagnosis and repair complex electrical systems.

  • Perform minor welding repairs when required in a field environment.

  • Perform routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections checking, DOT inspections and replaces fluids, checks lights and other electrical system components, etc.

  • Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.

  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

  • Work under general supervision and is a self-starter.

  • The list of duties does not include ALL duties that may be assigned to this position.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 3 years of related experience.

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.

  • CDL B is helpful, but not required

The Fleet Administrator (FA) performs a variety of moderately complex-to-complex duties to include supervision of all office functions and is the central point of contact and liaison for administrative issues. Distinguishing characteristics include exceptional functional and situational reasoning skills, advanced verbal aptitude, accounting, data entry, interpersonal and communication skills.

The FA normally works under general supervision but may serve in the capacity of Lead supervising one or more co-workers in an office setting. While workers require some supervision in most assignments, they are free to develop their own work sequences within established procedures, methods and policies. The FA is generally subject to periodic supervisory checks.

As a Fleet Administrator II, you can expect to:

The Fleet Administrator's duties include scheduling appointments, drafting letters and otherwise relieving the Project Manager of clerical work and minor administrative details. Reads and routes incoming mail and monitors electronic mail, prepares outgoing mail, locates and attaches appropriate files to correspondence, transcribes notes on computer, composes and files correspondence and other records. Answer telephones and routes calls to the appropriate official and compiles statistical reports.

The Fleet Administrator's responsibilities include Human Resources, payroll and finance. Human Resource duties include but are not limited to: Orientation of new staff, Human Resource documentation and reporting requirements (EEO, Workers Compensation, OSHA, Etc.). Responsible for the maintenance and security of employee database files and records to include employee vacation and sick time accrued and used.

The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for assisting the manager with customer vehicle licensing and registration, running and analyzing reports, assisting with personnel issues (IT, HR, training, etc.), billing, assisting with scheduling vehicle repairs, and general clerical assistance

The Fleet Administrator's payroll and finance responsibilities include preparation and maintenance of payroll and payroll records, and is the central point of contact for accounts payable and vendor concerns.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent, courses in Business Administration, accounting, communication and/or benefit administration preferred, electronic data system training, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.

Strong analytical, communication, customer service and human relation skills
