The schedule for this opportunity will be 1st shift, 6:30AM-3PM Monday through Friday. Overtime eligible with the potential of earning a sign-on bonus dependent on experience and availability.
In this role, you will:
Operate automotive and diesel vehicles and construction and material handling equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems
Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer recommended services.
Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems.
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports and planned maintenance.
Qualifications
To be successful on the job, you will have:
At least 5 years of related experience.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.
Be a safety oriented individual.
CDL B license and PA Class VII inspection license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided.
Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired.
This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

Serco is seeking a motivated General Clerk to join the team in Millington, TN!
Serco supports the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) by recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country. Our team takes care of our Nation's Sailors (Active, Reserve and Retired) by building and maintaining their Official Military Personnel Files (OMPF). These files are critical to a Sailor's promotions, benefits, and awards.
The General Clerk will support offices within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 by maintaining and providing complete and accurate personnel records and records-related information to authorized users throughout the Navy and other federal agencies. This position is responsible for complete and accurate document creation, filing, duplication, and routing, as assigned by the supervisor. Daily support includes scanning documents using high-speed scanners, flatbed scanners, and/or microfiche readers/scanners to include non-standard size documents such as photos, college transcripts, and/or microfiche in accordance with the SOP. This work involves handling proper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
In this role, you will receive basic training and be a part of a team which:
Accepts correspondence from Fleet and support commands from around the country
Prepares, Validates and Verifies documents for completeness, accuracy and suitability. Then scans them for entry into a Sailor's OMPF
Follows strict guidelines in protecting the Sailor's Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
The hourly pay rate for this position is $15.00 plus an additional $4.23/hr for Health and Welfare (H&W).
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
3 years of experience in office management or clerical support
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace
Additional desired experience and skills:
High School Diploma or GED

Position Description
Serco is seeking a motivated General Clerk to join the team in Millington, TN!
Serco supports the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) by recruiting the best quality men and women from the diverse population of our country. Our team takes care of our Nation's Sailors (Active, Reserve and Retired) by building and maintaining their Official Military Personnel Files (OMPF). These files are critical to a Sailor's promotions, benefits, and awards.
The General Clerk will support offices within Navy Personnel Command (NPC) PERS-3 by maintaining and providing complete and accurate personnel records and records-related information to authorized users throughout the Navy and other federal agencies. This position is responsible for complete and accurate document creation, filing, duplication, and routing, as assigned by the supervisor. Daily support includes scanning documents using high-speed scanners, flatbed scanners, and/or microfiche readers/scanners to include non-standard size documents such as photos, college transcripts, and/or microfiche in accordance with the SOP. This work involves handling proper handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
In this role, you will receive basic training and be a part of a team which:
Accepts correspondence from Fleet and support commands from around the country
Prepares, Validates and Verifies documents for completeness, accuracy and suitability. Then scans them for entry into a Sailor's OMPF
Follows strict guidelines in protecting the Sailor's Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
The hourly pay rate for this position is $15.00 plus an additional $4.23/hr for Health and Welfare (H&W).
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
3 years of experience in office management or clerical support
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace
Additional desired experience and skills:
High School Diploma or GED
Typing and 10 Key proficiency
Experience with Navy Records Management
Knowledge on protecting PII

This Strategic Workforce Planner will be on a dynamic team at our Alexandria, Virginia location. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact on our Department of Defense Cyber Workforce Strategy.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a Secret clearance.
This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.
In this role, you will:
Provide analytical and technical support relating to DoD CIO Cyber Manpower strategy and policy and cyber workforce initiatives.
Research, analyze, and identify DoD and federal IT skill gaps and root causes as well as recommend strategies to reduce gaps in cyber workforce positions.
Provide draft analysis and recommendation report to meet the functional community management lifecycle reporting requirements established by the Department of Defense.
Conduct research and analysis to identify cyber workforce trends; analyze data to assess the overall health of the DoD cyber workforce; develop strategic workforce documents; write cyber workforce reports for submission to the Secretary of Defense, the US Congress, or other federal entities; and provide documentation to support advocacy for legislation, regulations, policies, and tools necessary to sustain the cyber workforce.
Responsible for a broad spectrum of civilian workforce planning and analysis requirements, as well as overseeing overarching force management policies (e.g., recruitment, retention, compensation, professional development) career development, education, and training) for over 50,000 DoD civilians in 18 occupational series. Supportive efforts include research and analysis to identify workforce trends; development of strategic workforce documents; and advocating for legislation, policies, and tools which support workforce sustainment.
Analyze cyber personnel trends to support strategic human capital reporting requirements.
Understand the differences between manpower and personnel systems, and the type of human capital information that resides within them.
Ability to conduct data analytics using DoD canned reports and/or structuring data queries to obtain desired content. Other sources may include the Bureau of Labor Statistics, OPM's Fedscope.
Provide support, on an ad-hoc basis, for a variety of Congressional response requirements associated with cyber workforce management. These include analysis of draft legislation; creation and defense of legislative proposals; correspondence preparation; material support for meetings with Congressional member/staff visits; and responding to requests for information.
Monitor congressional positions and actions on matters affecting all aspects of cyber workforce management and recommends Defense positions.
Advise the DoD CIO regarding the need for new or modification to existing legislation, and congressional reporting requirements; develops timely responses to congressional responses including legislation, questions in specific areas of interest, questions and inserts for the record, hearing statements, and backup material preparation.
Prepare responses to media requests, write newsletter articles, and provide website content to share insight on DoD cyber workforce trends and the status of ongoing workforce initiatives.
Analyze workforce data and prepare cyber workforce reports to meet requirements imposed by the Secretary of Defense, the U.S. Congress, the GAO, OMB and OPM.
Provide written content for a variety of informational purposes to showcase cyber workforce initiatives.
Draft authoritative responses for GAO questions, succinctly conveying DoD's position and accomplishments and providing -artifacts- to back up comments/justifications.
Provide data to support OMB and OPM data requests.
Write briefings and large-scale reports (15-30 pages) to convey status of DoD cyber workforce.
Prepare oral reports on cyber workforce matters to the senior executives, managers, or other Defense/Federal Stakeholders.
Serve as trusted advisor to client on workforce matters.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
The ability to maintain/transfer a DoD Secret clearance and can upgrade to a Top Secret/SCI clearance
A High School Diploma and 10 years of relevant experience in manpower or workforce planning.
OR a Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
OR a Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in DoD canned reports and/or structuring data.
Experience with the understanding of legislative processes.
Knowledge of DoD and Federal Workforce Data Sources.
Knowledge of DoD organization.
Experience with creating/modifying Congressional briefings and position papers,
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Department of Defense, the organization and structure of the Military Departments and Fourth Estate, and other government and non-government activities at the national level that have a substantial impact on the Department's cyber mission.
Proficiency knowledge in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience in research, Analysis, and workforce planning.
Experience leading and directing the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS on an as needed basis.
Additional desired experience and skills:
An active DoD Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI Clearance
Experience working with Department of Defense, Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Experience with Defense Manpower Data Center

In this role, you will:
Operate automotive & diesel vehicles and construction and material handling equipment.

Perform PA state inspections and manufacturer recommended services.
Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems.
Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports and planned maintenance.
This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have:
At least 8 years of related experience.
Class VII Inspection license and Class A CDL.
High school diploma or its equivalent.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.
Be a safety oriented individual.
CDL B license is required but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for it will be provided.
Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.

In this role, you will:
Non-medical Counseling Services:
Deliver -just in time- services via -walk around/coaching- approach (psychoeducation).
Identify personnel and family needs to provide a "get-well" plan.
Make referrals and warm transfers to military and community resources according to the needs of personnel and families.
Manage duty to warn and restricted reporting situations in accordance with DoD protocol.
Participate in individual and group supervision.
Share information regarding trends and issues encountered at service location.
Participate in in-services/training, quality improvement committees or other activities as assigned.
Outreach and Awareness:
Partner and augment activities family and personnel programs and services.
Build coalitions and connect with federal, state, and local resources and non-profit organizations.
Consult with military commands and installation service providers.
Advise on curriculum development in response to new presentation requests from military leadership.
Develop and implement approved training and education programs and materials.
MFLC Assignments Available: Rotational/Adult, Rotational/Child Youth Behavioral (CYB), On-Demand, Surge.
Travel: Travel is required to accomplish mission goals to include evenings and weekends with the ability to use all modes of transportation. This position requires access to US Government facilities and systems. US Citizenship, a valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation to travel to assigned locations and nearby facilities is required.

Qualifications
To be successful in this roll, you will have:
Experience working with military family programs and/or advocacy services, military or civilian social service agencies, and/or are a military family member/Veteran with full understanding of the military lifestyle.
Experience working knowledge of military, state, federal, and local resources.
Understanding, sensitivity, and empathy for Service members and their Families.
Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively with military and civilian medical, social service, law enforcement, and legal personnel on behalf of Service members and their Families.
Additional desired experience and skills:
Minimum of master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a Mental Health related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Counseling.
A valid unrestricted and/or provisional counseling license/certification from a State, the District of Columbia, a U.S. Commonwealth, or a U.S. Territory that grants authority to provide counseling services as an independent practitioner in their respective fields.
Must be a U.S. citizen, and must speak fluent English.

Team Submarine's Submarine Program Offices are responsible for:
The acquisition of the OHIO Class replacement and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the Research and Development (R&D), design, construction, Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Live Fire Test and Evaluation (LFT&E) of the COLUMBIA Class. The program is a major defense acquisition program and is of significant political importance with Congress and the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
The acquisition of New Construction Submarines and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, T&E, LFT&E, and Fleet introduction of the U.S. Navy's newest class of nuclear attack submarines. The program is a major defense acquisition program with a total life cycle cost of approximately $336B. Additionally, successful improvement of the class' capabilities is of significant political importance with Congress and OSD.
The SSN(X) Office is responsible for the acquisition and design of the future fast attack submarine and for identifying, assembling, managing, directing, and coordinating the resources required for the R&D, design, construction, T&E and LFT&E of the future submarine. The future Attack Submarine will be designed to retain multi-mission capability and sustained combat presence in denied waters with a focus on greater speed, stealth, and horizontal payloads and salvo rates.

Serco-NA is seeking a motivated individual to provide acquisition program support to one of our NAVSEA customers. Serco-NA has an opening for an acquisition management analyst to support an active contract with the U.S. Navy in the Washington, DC area.
General Duties:
Commitments Team - responsible for tracking commitments in the commitment database. A commitment is an organizational obligation to perform the actions initiated by either official correspondence or by PMS397 internal requests. The Commitments Team is the single point of entry and closure for PMS397 commitments.
Responsibilities of the commitments team:
Receive shipbuilder incoming correspondence electronically via Contractor Integrated Technical Information Service (CITIS) or via hardcopy mail for classified documentation.
Log each commitment into the commitment database (currently MS Access) using a unique commitment number.
Create an electronic file folder in Corporate Document Management System (CDMS) that contains the incoming correspondence with all enclosures, identified by the commitment number and title of the action.
Save documentation stored on CDMS Primary and CDMS NOFORN in an OCR Format.
Identify the appropriate program office Lead Engineer for the subject commitment and provide them the CDMS location.
Update the program office commitment database with the status of all reviewer actions and completion dates for the purpose of reporting status and performance metrics.
Receive SUPSHIP incoming correspondence electronically via Technical Support Management System (TSM) or via hardcopy mail for classified documentation. For Mail Action Tracking System (MATS) in TSM, download the MATS, post it to CDMS, add shortcut in associated commitment folder, provide it to the program office Lead Engineer, and enter the MATS number in the -SUPSHIP Letter- field for the commitment in the commitment database.
Serialize, distribute and archive outgoing correspondence and its concurrence Objective Quality Evidence (OQE).
Verify all route sheets are marked in at least one of the boxes for SUBSAFE, FBW SCS, MIC Level, or -None- and enter the corresponding designations in the commitment database.
Scan and store in CDMS the documentation required to be archived.
Post and link, when applicable, -For Information- submittals that have incorporated PMS397/NAVSEA comments to the associated commitment folder.
Support SDM and Project Officer oversight of program office, shipbuilder, and key stakeholders.
Distribute commitment reports to program office personnel.
For all classified/NOFORN documents associated with commitments, create an unclassified placeholder on CDMS to support location of the classified/NOFORN documents.
Other actions as directed by program office supervisor.

In this role you will:
Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring and analysis support to Program Managers including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and development of time-phased budgets and schedules.
Lead project set up in compliance with contractual terms, conditions and requirements.
Prepare program financial Estimates at Complete (EAC) and meet deadlines for submission requirements.
Identify project risks and opportunities and provide analytical contribution in working resolution with PM, Contracts, Procurement and Finance/Accounting.
Review and assess all contract modifications. Advise the program management team of impacts as necessary.
Monitor costs and manpower on a weekly basis ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct job number. Process cost transfers as required.
Perform analytical review and arithmetic checks of cost reporting documentation.
Prepare accurate and complete variance analysis and reporting.
Prepare/Support Internal Program Review (IPR) presentations for management.
Prepare financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for programs. Ensure contractual requirements are met and customer financial deliverables are accurate and on time.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis on the contract as requested by PMO and others.
Monitor funding status, providing reliable and timely notification of funding status by line item detail as required.
Support accounts receivable as required during the billing processing. Monitor billing status and unbilled issues, working with Finance, Contracts, Accounting and PMO to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals as services/goods are received in accordance with GAAP and internal policies to ensure that the projects cost/commitment is accurately captured and reported internally and externally.
Ensure program revenue and profit is recorded in compliance with the EAC.
Analyze profit risks and opportunities and advise management on the optimal path forward.
Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley, FAR and all company policies and procedures as they related to contract performance and financials.
Provides guidance to less experienced Project Controllers.

In this role, you will:
Support PCrefresh efforts such as Windows upgrades
Support government phone efforts such as Purebred or other technical upgrades
Support account creations for NMCI users, troubleshooting CAC issues, and assisting users with technical issues
Provide regional and local level design and installation support to Navy-wide Operational Technology (OT) initiatives and programs for specific instantiations within regional networks
Maintain and securing regional and local level OT systems in accordance with Navy directives
Ensure connectivity and integration with regional monitoring and enterprise management services
Troubleshoot system outages and network connectivity issues; engaging with program-level support personnel, base-level communications, and regional staff to resolve issues

In this role, you will:

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) mission is to provide the warfighter with knowledge superiority by developing, delivering, and maintaining effective, capable and integrated command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. Serco's C4ISR mission support encompasses Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), Information Technology (IT) systems, Electronic Security Systems (ESS), and other electronic systems under NAVWAR cognizance. Serco performs C4ISR installation services at shore facilities, on towers, piers, platforms, mobile systems, and special purpose vehicles. C4ISR installation services includes both decommissioning and modernization of existing facilities as well as installation design and installation of integrated C4ISR systems at new shore facilities.
The Project Manager will conduct project management through continual cost control and review. This position will have business development and budgetary responsibilities and will provide expertise to the customer(s) to ensure resolution of issues. Will be responsible for managing project(s) and related task orders for customer(s) with revenue ranging from $3 - $15M. Typically reports to a Program Manager or Director and may manage a team of 20 or more employees.
In this role, you will:
Develop new business or expand business with the customer.
Be responsible for, and coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, performance work statements and specifications, and financial terms/conditions of proposals.
Develop and monitor project plans including time and cost estimates.
Ensure project outputs are delivered on schedule and within funding.
Establish milestones and monitor adherence to program plan, schedule, quality, security, identifies problems, and obtains solutions.
Prioritize workload and determines staffing levels and any adjustments in staffing. Maintains a staffing plan to ensure technical quality and appropriate experience levels are consistent.
Act as primary customer contact for project activities. Regularly meets with and updates the customer on project status. Leads review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current DoD Secret level clearance and the ability to maintain.
Bachelor's degree; 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the field may be substituted for required education depending on level of education received.
Ten (10) plus years practical experience (with a minimum of 4 years supervisory experience) in leading projects for Shore C4ISR designs and installations.
Four (4) years as technical lead of US Navy Shore installations involving multiple C4ISR systems and performing tasks in accordance with NIWC's Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH).
Management/technical background in the design and installation of US Navy Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
The ability to travel up to 10% CONUS/OCONUS.

In this role, you will:
Provide technical expertise in the implementation or evaluation of USAFCENT access entry control operations and assist with the protection of property from the dangers of sabotage, espionage, and intrusion.
Participate in access entry control and sensor systems software and hardware implementation, maintenance, testing, and periodic checks.
Assist with identifying performance limits and monitoring concerns; properly documenting outcomes as directed by USAFCENT Force Protection management.
Advise 9th AF /USAFCENT FP on coordination of air base defense, antiterrorism, FP, and physical security support with USCENTCOM, the Air Staff, and host nation forces.
Do physical security site surveys; provide effective and economical recommendations for onsite improvements to the exterior and interior security elements; to include but not limited to, security lighting, intrusion detection and assessment equipment, annunciation and display systems, security communications, or other security measures that protect Government property and personnel.
Be directed to identify, analyze, and resolve broad and complex security concerns.

Additional roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Notify and assist management, if necessary, with the development of new or revised policies, procedures, and implementation.
Execute and enforce compliance to physical and personnel security requirements outlined in directives, instructions, manuals, regulations, and local policies.
Address alarms and/or telephone/radio calls by determining and taking appropriate action; identified by management.
Assess security controls to ensure security protocols are not compromised; prevent unauthorized access or unauthorized disclosure of information.
Notify management of any policy or procedure concerns, directorate security manager concerns, or personnel issues.

Operate, monitor, and maintain Video Image Control and Display system (VICADS) architecture and software, operating processes, and store images captured, recorded, and on network video recording and storage devices for multiple facilities.
Assist with Internet Protocol (IP) networking, Windows-based servers and workstations; hardware and software, as well as, Command and Control Display Equipment (CCDE), and security and video surveillance.
Assist in overseeing VICADS robust configuration parameters; alarm point priority assessment, automatic or manual call up policies, automatic pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) presets upon alarm and intelligent queuing logic for multiple alarms.
Responsible for escorting designated personnel into controlled premises; provide an authorized service for 9 AF (USAFCENT) facilities, construction projects and/or installations during operational hours.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Three (3) years' experience with USAF Automated Entry Controls Systems (Vindicator/Hirsch products) or similar is required.

Position Description
As the, Marine Electrician-Mid Level, you will work on a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C5ISR system installations. The Marine Electrician-Mid Level will perform the following typical tasks:
Receive initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed; performs recurring work independently; work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions including troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions.
Conduct various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement; selects, sets up, and operates standard test equipment and records test data.
Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed such as: Constructs components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment.
Gather and maintains specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performs computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plots data and draws simple curves and graphs.
Perform simple or routine tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests; operates and adjusts simple test equipment; records test data.
Rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor in a safe work environment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A High School diploma or equivalent and shipboard installation experience.
Familiarization with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
An OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification and be familiar with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation.
The ability to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position. Attention to safety critical.
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.
Be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens, be able to obtain gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), undergo a background investigation and pass a drug screening.

Serco supports the AFLCMC/HIS which is looking for a Business Systems Analyst / Stock Control System SME to interact with the Stock Control System (SCS) Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and the support contractor to assist them with the migration of the SCS from the current mainframe environment to the Cloud. This includes the testing of the migrated software to verify that the conversion from mainframe code to JAVA has been successful.
In this role, you will:
Interact with SCS SME's and the support contractor to assist them with keeping the Stock Control System in compliance with the current and proposed changes to implement DLMS. Additional information about DLMS can be viewed at http://www.fms.treas.gov/ussgl/index.html
Perform as the central point of contact for audits conducted by the Air Force Audit Agency (AFAA) and the Independent Public Auditor (IPA) for Defense Information System Agency (DISA) billing review and verification. This requires knowledge of the technical operations and structure of SCS.
Assist in the development of training materials to be used for training the multitude of users of the SCS modules once the newly developed software has been totally delivered to the SCS program office.
Create Government Cost Estimates (GCEs) for Computer Requirements (CRs) submitted by various parties that require modifications to the SCS processes.
Perform Technical Evaluations of Engineering Cost Proposals from the support contractor.
Establish and maintain key points of contact with the various interfacing system representatives.
Attend various meetings and conferences as required to accomplish the above tasks and as directed by the Program Managers.
Additional duties include responding to Program Manager requests for analysis of system transactions and processing rejects.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High School Diploma
An Active NACI (favorable determination)
Three years' experience in an Air Force or DoD project support environment
Ability to review and understand application source code written in COBOL, CA-IDEAL, C++, and JAVA
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

As a part of this dynamic team located in Alexandria, Virginia, you will be expected to bring your inquisitiveness, drive, and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our sailors.
In this role, you will:
Provide support to clients developing and maintaining U.S. Navy surface ships systems and associated subsystems, under supervision.
Provide production and testing support including engineering support for hull, mechanical and electrical systems; total ship engineering; ship surveillance; and all types of waterfront engineering and inspections.
Review shipbuilder work packages, conduct photo documentation, develop databases allowing searches for key information in written correspondence.
Review drawings, Initial Change Proposals (ICP), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), waterfront changes, work items, design reviews condition reports and trial cards. Other key responsibilities will include:
Reviewing initial designs, developments, and analysis of new ships and/or ship systems.
Assisting in the development of designs for current and conceptualized ships, systems, and equipment. Evaluate designs for feasibility.
Reviewing ECP packages for completeness and provide recommendations.
Assessing compliance with Naval regulatory and design standards.
Interfacing with stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure necessary resources are available for ship/system.
Participating in Gas Turbine design meetings.
Reviewing qualification test procedures and participating in qualification testing and trials.
Supporting production design and construction oversight and review processes to ensure compliance with product specifications.
Researching recent technology and/or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
Maintaining communications with SUPSHIP, NAVAIR and other commands, including laboratories and support contractors, in resolving technical issues impacting (or have potential to impact) the design or performance of the ship class.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
An Active or current DoD Secret security clearance or meet the requirements for clearance sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in naval architecture, ocean engineering, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, systems engineering (ABET-Accredited), or a related discipline.
Up to two years relevant work experience. (In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than six years of applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted based on education, or highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving recent technology.)
Experience working with ship and ship system design principles and practices.
Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and Naval construction process.
Soundoral and written communications skillset.
Ability to work efficiently with limited or no supervision.
Sound skillset using the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The ability to travel 25% of the time.
Additional desired experience and skills include having the following:
A Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
Knowledge ofDDG 51 acquisition program and processes.
Experience working with applicable regulatory, commercial, and military standards and classification society rules.
Experience working with ship system performance assessment and prediction methods.
Experience working with Navy ship and ship system design principles and practices.
Familiarity with maritime fuel systems, Gas Turbine Propulsion, Gas Turbine Generators, Saltwater Cooling systems, damage control systems and auxiliary systems.
Former Navy gas turbine shipboard auxiliary or main propulsion experience.
Experience working with applicable regulatory, commercial, and military standards and classification society rules.

Position Description
Serco is looking for Advanced Mechanical Assemble to join a high-profile and challenging project supporting the US Navy. Advanced Mechanical Assemblers will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
In this role, you will:
Receive technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician, and your work will be reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Supervise a small team of 3-5 lower-level employees while reporting to a manager.
Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to fabricate and assemble various electromechanical and electronic assemblies.
Perform work with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field under general supervision.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and you will typically report to a supervisor.
Work onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations in an area that is somewhat uncomfortable due to drafts, noise, temperature variation and the like and with equipment where carelessness would probably result in minor cuts, bruises, muscle strains, serious injury, or death
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a High School Diploma and Shipboard experience.
Have an OSHA 10 certification or able to obtain the certification.
Be able to use power tools, assembling both large scale and intricate mechanical assemblies.
Demonstrate the ability to working with blueprints, assembly drawings and sketches in completing a wide variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this field.
Experience in the fabrication and precision assembly of various mechanical assemblies.
Applicant must be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift.
Applicant must be willing to work second, or thirds shift as needed and willing to work more than 40 hours work weeks.
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% to various work sites.
Must be able to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position.
Attention to safety critical.
