In this USAFCENT Judge Advocate Administrator role, you will:

• Assist the customer in accomplishing all necessary internal operations to include administrative training, security, development, and implementation of organizational operating instructions and regulations of personnel related programs.

• Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and deposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence and with managing programs to include task management, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, UDM to include ART and SORTS programs, awards program, security program, supply program, records management, Defense Travel System (DTS), training program, and self-inspection program.

• Attend required training, meetings, and functions as related to the prescribed unit programs.

• Assist with ensuring unit programs comply with regulations, laws, policies, and directives.

• Instruct others on changes in administrative policies and procedures.

• Assist with developing, establishing, updating, and maintaining office procedures and records/files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office. Implements unit file plan.

• Identify and implement processes which can be improved or made more efficient through application of automated technology or other methods, including SharePoint. Leverages networks and technology to create office continuity.

• Assist in role of FAM, coordinating management of and training for deployed personnel. Assists with legal orientation course for legal personnel deploying to USCENTCOM AOR.

• Serve as POC for newly assigned personnel; introduces them to key personnel and schedules their initial training/orientation requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this USAFCENT Judge Advocate Administrator, you will have:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Active Secret Clearance

• Six years' experience working military administration support requirements.

• Four years' experience in Microsoft Office applications/email systems or the equivalent.

• One year experience in SharePoint.

• Ability to Travel = 10%

Serco has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Program Analyst to be part of a program and financial planning team for Naval Sea Systems Command.

The Financial Analyst supports the Financial Division of the Surface Training Systems Program Office and works directly with Senior Level Civil Service leadership and Senior Military in a Surface Navy Ship program which provides training and training equipment to the US Navy.

The Financial Program Analyst will :

• Act as Site administrator for the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS).

• Download and create weekly reports for staff.

• Provide customer interface for data used in the entry of Task Planning Sheets (TPS) and subsequent task modifications into the NEPS.

• This includes planning includes the development and execution of current TPS guidance introduction and implementation of the new NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), the official planning system of record.

• Act as Activity manager for deployment and implementation of the NEPS single enterprise-wise financial planning and negotiation tool.

• Act as the program authoritative point of contact for assisting in the education of the new financial database/system and for trouble shooting all database issues.

• Provide task monitoring of fiscal year allocation plans and execution reports.

• For external allocations and execution reports, this includes frequent face-to-face discussions and reviews with Class managers and financial analysts to ensure accuracy and update of requirements and/or allocations changes within the fiscal year.

• Develop and edit PowerPoint briefings on NEPS and financial data involving advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

• Participate in planning meetings with government and business partners.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have :

• An Active Secret Clearance is required for employment.

• A Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 5 to 7 years of directly related experience in financial program planning, administration, budgets, and development.

• In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 9 years applicable work experience.

• Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.

• NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) account and/or ability to learn new financial database/system

• Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) account and working level knowledge of the system

• Advanced Microsoft .Office experience including PowerPoint and Excel skills required for this position.

This team will support the Navy efforts for successful data enablement with an emphasis on -data as a corporate asset- and analytics.

In this role, you will:

• Lead specific tasks under the Digital Transformation Support Services Program, work closely with Program Manager to ensure timely delivery of products and reports

• Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders such as DoD/DON leadership; key stakeholders; resource sponsors and others to provide guidance and proposed briefs for external stakeholders

• Continue the assessment of potential internal and external stakeholders based on capability and synthesize findings and propose way-ahead consistent with ongoing efforts

• Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for cost, schedule, and performance, as well as an Executive Integrated Cost Model with work breakdowns and associated structure for the lines of efforts

• Provide Insights as-a-Service to other Navy Commands and seeking detailed views of digital initiatives under their purview

• Identify technology concentrations/centers of excellence within Commands for enhanced collaboration, including expertise sharing, and potential areas to pilot

• Provide monthly updates or as required for special interest topics: Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G, Analytics and others as directed by DTO

• Establish functional requirements for the model that includes inputs, outputs, interfaces, visualizations and others as required

• Establish a standardized Concept of Operations that includes how it will be used in enterprise decision processes and how configuration will be controlled and updated

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance

• A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university; Masters degree preferred

• 18 years of experience (including advanced/graduate education)

• Transformation at Scale, Program Management, Data Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Consulting, Organizational Design and Management, or Business Process Improvement

Serco supports the USCG in the acquisition of new technology used to defend our nation. This includes programs supporting the USCG Operation Test and Evaluation Command (OPTEVFOR).

You will be part of a 5-7 -member team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality test analysis and reports. The team has been supporting Test and Evaluation for over 15 years and has been recognized by both the Navy and DHS for their outstanding contributions.

In this role, you will:

• Perform as the Test and Evaluation Engineer that supports the OPTEVFOR USCG Test Division in the review of acquisition documents, development of complex test plans, execution of operational tests, the reduction and analysis of data, and the writing of test reports.

• Support Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) events to provide the OPTEVFOR with an evaluation of the mission capability of the system or service when employed in a realistic, operational environment.

• Support the Operational Test Coordinator in providing a T&E Strategy brief to the Department of Homeland Security Director of T&E for all major acquisition programs under DHS engagement.

• Assists in providing OT&E strategy associated with operational testing and drafting of applicable sections of the TEMP per policy with the T&E Manager and T&E WIPT.

• Provide T&E Concept Briefing on the planned OT&E activity.

• Support development of Test Plan for DOT&E approval, executes test events, collects, and analyzes data, and provides a report on the results.

• Work directly with senior technical personnel, stakeholders, and project managers in the planning and execution of test events.

• Employ existing guidelines and instructions, guidance from higher-level engineers, experience, and independent judgment to plan and accomplish test objectives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years of Test and Evaluation experience. 4+ years of USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Operational experience in Surface Platforms or as part of the CG-9, USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Headquarters staff OR at least ten (10) years of USCG operational experience in Surface Platforms and Operations.

• Successfully completed the necessary requirements to hold either a Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Certified Acquisition Professional certificate for Test & Evaluation Manager Level I

• At least three (3) years working on the development of Integrated Evaluation Frameworks (IEFs), Test Plans, and Final Reports, in direct support of Operational Testing of USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Level 1 Acquisitions.

• Ability to obtain a Secret level Security Clearance post-employment.

• Proficiency in technical writing.

• Mentor and assist in the training of part-time Employment Facilitators new to the program to include a 90 day post-hire review.

• Provide transitioning Servicemembers (Active, Reserve, National Guard), family members, and Veterans a comprehensive understanding of preparing for civilian employment, job searching, job application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, credentialing, and assistance in preparing for civilian employment and participation in technical programs and schools; and who can conduct large group instruction and provide counseling on the job search process.

• Facilitate job search and process workshops with curriculum and activities created specifically for Spouses, Veterans, and Wounded Warriors.

Qualifications

• An Associate degree and 5 years of TAP training experience.

Serco has naval engineering contracts supporting the Navy and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Our subject matter experts explore and architect solutions to satisfy existing tactical needs as well as explore the future of what's possible. In the execution of these projects, Serco is charged with evolving concepts into physical demonstration prototypes or tactical military assets. Such projects typically demand frequent development, prototyping and test cycles, under closely managed configuration control, and may include software and/or hardware in-the-loop simulations and testing. • Perform independent software parametric analysis of development progress based on parameters received from program offices to quantitatively predict completion dates

If you are accepted for this position, you willprepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. You will write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation. You will create code documentation for software; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.

In this role, you will:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

• Understand basic concepts (to include basic grammar concepts), responsible for writing technical copy for various types of documents

• Gather technical information, prepares written text

• Maintain a current internal documentation library

• Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio etc.

• Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications

• Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials

• Work on all phases of documentation

• Understand basic concepts and write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity

• Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences

• Coordinate layout and design of documents

• Research highly technical subject matter, organizes information from multiples sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers

• Under general direction, write technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity

• Apply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources

• Produce defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems

• Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information

• Produce technical documentation for Cryptologic programs or projects developing analytic tradecraft methodologies

• Apply technical manual standard NSA DS-89 to work product.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

• U.S. citizenship

• Six (6) years experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

• Four (4) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

In this role, you will:

• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s) - Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Service-oriented Architecture (SOA), etc.Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents

• Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components

• Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination

• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations

• Allocate real-time process budgets and error budgets to systems and subsystem components

• Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions

• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable

• Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers

• Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non repudiation, and Availability); Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms (e.g., Identification, Authentication, Access Control, Accountability); and Security Mechanism Technology (Passwords, cryptography, discretionary access control, mandatory access control, hashing, key management, etc.)
