The Technology Software Engineer will work with a team of other software developers and network and systems engineers to design, implement, and deploy software which meet customer's requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments The engineer will participate in architecture and design of various software components focused on creating applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies. Works on technical assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments

Technical System Expertise: Understands system protocols, how systems operate and data flows. Aware of current technology benefits. Expected to independently develop a full software stack. Understands the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to complete software and automation work. Independent study of current technology is expected. Interact with system engineers to define system requirement and/or necessary requirements for automation.

Technical Engineering Services: Drives engineering projects by developing software solutions; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and calculations. Expected to supervise base and associate level engineers as needed.

Innovation: Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which improve an existing and new system/process/service. Contributes to designs to implement new ideas which utilize new frameworks to improve an existing or new system/process/service. Understands and can apply new industry perspectives to our existing business model. Review existing designs and processes to highlight more efficient ways to complete existing workload more effectively through industry perspectives. Understands the creation of company IPR.

Technical Writing: Maintains knowledge of existing technology documents. Writes basic documentation on how technology works. Creates clear documentation for new code and systems used. Documenting systems designs, presentations, and business requirements for consumption and consideration at the manager level. Understands the protection of company IPR.

Technical Leadership: Collaborates with technical teams and utilizes system expertise to deliver technical solutions. Continuously learns and teaches others existing and new technologies. Contributes to the development of others through mentoring or in house workshops and learning sessions.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Must have strong Oracle PL/SQL and SQL development skills and excellent knowledge of Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Materialized View, Cursors, JSON and XML features and writing complex SQL queries

  • Must have a successful track record of working with business customers on their business and functional requirements, consulting with the business customers to identify and close gaps in their requirements, design and lead the development efforts of a broad team of developers to deliver and test the solution, ensure complete documentation and methods and procedures to successfully migrate the solution to production, and provide support for the solution in production.

  • Well versed in Agile development Focus: Able to communicate goals in support of the business' mission.

  • Analytical: ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach, and forward thinking to anticipate the consequences of technical changes to code and plan ahead with contingencies.

  • Working experience with the Onevizion platform development is highly preferred

  • Web service development and support is a plus

  • Java development experience is a plus

  • Experience with at least one scripting language Powershell/Python/Shell is a plus

This role reports to the Director of Consumer Market Insights - Data Science and is responsible for leading a team of business analysts, insights managers, and data scientists. You must thrive on the challenges inherent in dissecting complex problems, utilizing facts/data to derive a conclusion, and deliver clear recommendations to improve results. You work collaboratively across organizations providing guidance and assessing business impact. Must have experience influencing business decisions through story-driven, visually compelling presentations while communicating advanced analytic methods in an easy-to-understand fashion.

This role favors the extremely analytical and will generally touch on all traditional cornerstones of marketing: pricing, products, promotion, and distribution placement with specific roles and assignments going deep into any one or all these areas. This person must be comfortable owning and managing large data sets requiring a passion for best practices and application of data modeling.

CRM Segmentation Manager

This position is responsible for the Audience list generation and execution of all targeted marketing (includes Legal/Service) campaigns for both Prospect and existing Customers. This includes, but is not limited to, targeted display, onsite targeting, Direct Mail, Email, SMS and Outbound calling (OBC) campaigns. Ensure customer selections and testing strategy aligns with each specific marketing project as well as with overall company strategy. Use model scores and other data to accurately communicate to each customer at the right time, using the right channel, offering the right product, at the right price. Provide consultation and recommendations on best options to strategically improve marketing campaigns to drive company sales and profit.

  • Partner with other teams to consult and guide Audience/targeting criteria.

  • Use various tools to build and maintain campaign diagrams that select desired customer groups and generate lists for each campaign across multi-channel campaigns (e.g., Email, SMS, Outbound calling (OBC), Direct Mail, etc. direct marketing campaigns) across Lines of Business.

  • Understand customer and transactional data, as well as new digital and prospect data sources, to a level that enables you to convert Marketing Briefs into executable Direct Marketing segments.

  • Support team with processing manual database requests to meet ad-hoc or special data requirements for campaigns.

  • Work to identify and test new data sources or feeds to help further targeting.

  • Maintain responsibility for the enforcement of contact strategies. Optimize within and across marketing campaign selections to maximize efficiencies.

  • Work in conjunction with other team members on the setup, QA/QC and deployment of marketing campaigns.

  • Maintain data sources and Audience integration with other teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business

  • 4-7 years of work experience in CRM, understanding of direct marketing objectives and needs, data management skills and understanding of customer/product/offer relationships in CRM systems.

  • Job experience in one or more of these tools required, with expectation that you should be able to train others upon hire:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience required; this role is for SFMC support with the following experience and responsibilities:

  • Manage ongoing automations and journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Troubleshoot bugs/issues and provide root cause analysis.

  • Build, test, and deploy new automations and journeys.

  • Modify and apply changes to ongoing automations and journeys.

  • Drive production process for email campaigns and triggers.

  • Communication with stakeholders, vendors and internal partners to ensure alignment on deliverables.

  • Partner with cross-functional team to drive project scoping and email development.

  • Review assets, links and audience to ensure they align.

  • Submit assets to email vendor/tech team.

  • Proof emails for link accuracy, tracking, and functionality.

  • Final approver of email (with stakeholder sign-off).

  • Partner with Project Manager on maintenance of production-related tools (calendar, workflow management tool, etc.).

  • Contribute to improving email production processes and efficiencies by leveraging project management and email production expertise.

  • Applied knowledge in Campaign Orchestration and cross-functional management.

  • Experience with common integration patterns used between legacy systems to integrate with Salesforce platform.

  • Proven experience with technical aspects - i.e., API programming, AMPScript, Javascript, and writing SQL queries.

  • Experience in holistic platform solutions with a customer 360-degree view, and personalized service and marketing applications.

  • Adobe Campaign experience preferred - this is in addition to SFMC required experience noted above.

  • SAS MA Customer Intelligence Studio 6.6 experience is a bonus.

  • Intermediate understanding of database infrastructure and data communications.

  • Basic understanding of experimental design.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience governing taxonomy and documentation.

  • IT or other quantitative field OR relevant experience as outlined above.
