As a Principal Architect you will work independently supporting internal and external clients, vendors, project stakeholders, and partners throughout various stages of project delivery. This candidate will provide oversight of the architectural design team to develop high quality designs on time and on budget. Tasks include conceptually visualizing projects, and preparing drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents. Your Impact

• Develop and incorporate advanced technologies, building materials, modeling techniques, design requirements, and operating strategies to account for the safety and functionality of occupants, and end users; implementing future-ready solutions with architectural design standards.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture

• 20+ years of relevant post education experience in the learned discipline.

• Experience in the design and project delivery of commercial, industrial, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

• Demonstrate experience working in a supervisory capacity, or leading large multidisciplinary design teams.

• Essential professional licensure/certification credentials and professional affiliations (e.g.) AIA, NCARB, CSI, CCS, LEED Accredited

• Highly proficient with architectural principles, practices, process, and the application to project work-related issues.

• Knowledge and experience with building planning, drawing standards, design, and construction management; including active involvement in a variety of restorative and new design projects.

• Knowledge and experience with technical writing, understanding of MasterFormat, and the development of project manuals and contract specifications through the use of MasterSpec or SpecLink.

• Demonstrate problem solving ability, creative thinking, visualization, and technical drawing skills.

• Provide support to the capture manager in developing fee proposals for project pursuits and managing staffing resources.

• Working knowledge of principles and concepts for sustainability and green building design. Demonstrate knowledge behind reducing and eliminating the use of hazardous substances and greenhouse gases.

• Well-defined specific knowledge of relevant building and construction laws, building codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.

• Well-developed ability to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of architectural principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons and illustrations to the appropriate regulations.

• Ability to plan and conduct inspections and investigations during various phases of the construction and design of buildings, facilities, or structures, associated with applicable regulations, policies, and requirements.

• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.

• Demonstrated effectiveness at coordinating and assertively directing junior level architects, designers, and others to complete tasks effectively, efficiently, and completely.

• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Architecture or related discipline is preferred.

• Experience in the planning and design of Industrial, and Advanced Manufacturing Facilities. Experience with Cleanroom design is desired but not required.

WSP is currently initiating a search for a District Project Accounting Supervisor for our Earth & Environment East Region.

Experienced supervisor-level senior project accountant and finance professional performing in the role of district project accounting supervisor or in the role of a very senior Project Accountant with a large degree complexity and/or as subject matter expert. In addition to maintaining a project portfolio of their own, responsible for supervising other project accountants, auditing other project accounting staff work and assessing skills sets and developmental needs. Responsible for integrating a mixed team of Project Financial Analysts from two separate accounting systems into new Global ERP. Collaborates and partners with business leaders to engage in portfolio-based review and analysis of financial performance of projects, reporting on key and secondary financial metrics, providing recommendations for addressing problem project corrective strategies, and overseeing invoicing and revenue recognition efforts. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards, supporting the delivery of future-ready solutions to clients.

Your Impact

- For individual project portfolio, manage and analyze the collection, recording, and allocating project costs and revenue, ensuring accurate project margin calculations, and communicating project financial performance and profitability to project/program management.

- Ensure complete understanding of all contract terms and conditions.

- Responsible for lifecycle project accounting for larger and/or multi-faceted complex projects involving ensuring the WBS is sufficient to properly capture and track financial performance and properly calculate revenue and bill plans in Oracle Fusion, monitoring and forecasting project performance, reconciling project payables and receivables to project budgets, reviewing billing to ensure contract compliance adherence, performing necessary overhead adjustments, assisting with audits and ensuring proper revenue recognition.

- Monitor key financial indicators on projects assigned to their team, evaluating financial performance, identifying potential problems and helping to mitigate any potential issues, investigating further as needed.

- Monitor/analyze revenue and WIP balances for projects under their purview, communicating and collaborating with district business leaders to resolve issues.

- Provide recommendations to senior Finance management regarding the potential write-off of any project-related receivables and any large unplanned non-billable costs or potential margin erosions.

- Become proficient in Horizon and able to teach and coach junior staff.

- Attend or coordinate project related meetings to inform the team regarding the current status of project financials, completing or following up on any identified actions as discussed; attends management or district level meetings to report on the current status of project financials.

- Supervise, train and mentor project accountants within District Level responsibility on financial analysis, the development of reports, and interpretation of analyses done on projects and other tasks as mentioned above.

Lead Analyst Identity Access Management Operations (SailPoint IIQ)

Position Summary

Reporting into the Global Manager Identity Access Operations, as Lead Analyst IAM Operations you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IGA/IAM system. Your primary focus will be on managing and maintaining user identities, access privileges and ensuring compliance with security protocols and day to day IAM operational activities. Candidate should be qualified to be a tier 3 level support coordinator with the demonstrated ability for being able to maintain the overall function of the operations and maintenance of IAM capabilities and components of IAM system.

The Lead IAM Analyst Operations is expected to conduct the following activities:

Lead and manage a team responsible for the operation of IAM system (Identity IIQ)

Oversee the design, implementation, and provisioning and deprovisioning processes, ensuring efficient and secure user lifecycle management.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to define and enforce control policies, roles, and responsibilities within the IAM system.

Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and customization of IAM processes and task.

Leverage your strong knowledge of Active directory to manage user accounts, groups, and permissions.

Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange and office 365 environment, including user mailbox management, email routing and security configurations.

Monitor and analyze performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.

Trouble shoot and resolve complex issues related to user access, permissions, and authentication with the IAM system, PowerShell scripts, active directory, and MS Exchange/Office 365

Develop and maintain system documentation, including standard operating procedure and configuration guide. Function as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and training sessions.

Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in IAM, such as OAuth, SAML, LDAP and MFA.

Requirements:

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems, Business, Mathematics & Statistics, Engineering or relevant discipline, or a comparable combination of education and work experience

Experience in implementing and managing Identity Access management solutions. Including one year in a lead role.

Must be able to perform as a hands-on technical lead performing IAM functions and maintaining systems.

Proficiency in IAM/IGA tool SailPoint Identity IIQ

Experience with Service Now, understanding of SLAs and the importance of meeting SLAs.

Ability to provide 24/7 on call support as SME.

Experience with documentation of IGA policies and procedures

Knowledge of Azure AD/Active Directory, SSO and MFA and PAM

In-depth experience with Python, Scripting, MS Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

Strong understanding of business process design, security protocols, access controls, and risk management, including risk analysis, mitigation, and monitoring

This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Associate Project Accountant for our New York, NY, Valhalla, NY, Newark, NJ or Ephrata, PA office . Provides professional accounting and financial specialist support to a project team, reviewing and evaluating project charges for accuracy, completing cost transfers, establishing and updating funding as needed, instituting and maintaining project budgets, and ensuring that all project data is current. Generates accurate and concise documentation regarding infrastructure/transportation/professional services projects within Oracle, providing pre-billing information for project manager review, and are accountable for independently reviewing, providing QA/QC on invoices including recommendations to PM and ensuring compliance with the contract. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards, supporting the delivery of future-ready solutions to clients.

Your Impact

• Works independently to manage and analyze the collection, recording, and allocation of project costs and revenue; ensuring accurate project profit and loss calculations, budget vs. actual cost, and developing and providing project financial performance and profitability to project/program management.

• Responsible for lifecycle project accounting from creating project accounts in Oracle, to tracking projects and project budget, validating invoicing, project close-out, and reconciling overall project payables and receivables to project budgets.

• Perform detailed and involved accounting tasks related to managing project contract revenue, billing events, and billing transaction exceptions.

• Partner with the Project Manager and project team to establish the project budget, updating budgets as needed when contract modifications or budget changes arise.

• Generate project financial reports, evaluating the reports for any items that need to be escalated for review by the Project Manager as necessary.

• Authorize access to project accounts, and the transfer of expenses into and out of project-related accounts in compliance with established accounting practices and guidelines.

• Maintain quality control standards and procedures for generating accurate and precise project-related financial records using Oracle, spreadsheets, and software.

• For assigned projects, apply learned accounting expertise relating to project resources, labor and expenses, investigating project variances and submitting variance reports to management.

• Verify contract and change order characteristics, including reading and interpreting contract language, method of compensation, modifications, purchase orders, and subcontract/consultant terms.

• Responsible for ensuring draft invoices from billing are accurate based on the contract requirements agreed upon with the client, identifying any corrections needed, obtaining Project Manager documentation and signature, and finalizing the invoice approval with the Project Manager/billing team and submits the invoice to the client.

• Subcontract management and coordination with Contract Administrators. This includes evaluating subconsultant invoice submittals for accuracy, establish and maintain purchase orders for subconsultants, and request and follow up on subcontractor payment requests with Accounts Payable.

• Identify and record unpaid contract billings, following up on any delinquent accounts receivable and/or unbilled costs.

• Respond to requests for more detail from clients, investigate all project expenses not billed to clients, and review and approve all project-related billings to clients.

• Attend project-related meetings to inform the team regarding the current status of project financials, articulating problem projects and following up on any identified actions as discussed.

• Create and submit government reports related to projects.

• Compile information for review by a more Senior Consultant prior to submitting for internal and external auditors as required.

• Remain current in latest project accounting principles and subject matter.

• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience).

• 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience in accounting, project contracts and change order documents.

• Knowledge of project accounting principles, practices, and methods and their application to project work-related issues.

As a Fire Protection Engineer specializing in Energy Storage Systems (ESS), your primary duties will be directing ESS designs to comply with evolving codes and standards, and requirements unique to the jurisdictions where our projects are located. You will work with in our Fire and Life Safety (FLS) Team, with other MEP engineers and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges with innovative and cutting-edge technology. You will work on mission critical and data center projects throughout the US and internationally. This opportunity provides technical assistance for design, development, and construction site surveys for ESS in data center projects. Tasks may include assisting with the research, design, concept development, planning; and optimal integration of energy storage systems. Additional tasks include performing building and fire code analysis review and compliance, and review and directing the in-house design engineers to accommodate code requirements. This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Associate Project Accountant for our New York, NY, Valhalla, NY, Newark, NJ or Ephrata, PA office . Be involved in projects with our Project Accounting Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

Provides professional accounting and financial specialist support to a project team, reviewing and evaluating project charges for accuracy, completing cost transfers, establishing and updating funding as needed, instituting and maintaining project budgets, and ensuring that all project data is current. Generates accurate and concise documentation regarding infrastructure/transportation/professional services projects within Oracle, providing pre-billing information for project manager review, and are accountable for independently reviewing, providing QA/QC on invoices including recommendations to PM and ensuring compliance with the contract. Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards, supporting the delivery of future-ready solutions to clients.

Your Impact

• Works independently to manage and analyze the collection, recording, and allocation of project costs and revenue; ensuring accurate project profit and loss calculations, budget vs. actual cost, and developing and providing project financial performance and profitability to project/program management.

• Responsible for lifecycle project accounting from creating project accounts in Oracle, to tracking projects and project budget, validating invoicing, project close-out, and reconciling overall project payables and receivables to project budgets.

• Perform detailed and involved accounting tasks related to managing project contract revenue, billing events, and billing transaction exceptions.

• Partner with the Project Manager and project team to establish the project budget, updating budgets as needed when contract modifications or budget changes arise.

• Generate project financial reports, evaluating the reports for any items that need to be escalated for review by the Project Manager as necessary.

• Authorize access to project accounts, and the transfer of expenses into and out of project-related accounts in compliance with established accounting practices and guidelines.

• Maintain quality control standards and procedures for generating accurate and precise project-related financial records using Oracle, spreadsheets, and software.

• For assigned projects, apply learned accounting expertise relating to project resources, labor and expenses, investigating project variances and submitting variance reports to management.

• Verify contract and change order characteristics, including reading and interpreting contract language, method of compensation, modifications, purchase orders, and subcontract/consultant terms.

• Responsible for ensuring draft invoices from billing are accurate based on the contract requirements agreed upon with the client, identifying any corrections needed, obtaining Project Manager documentation and signature, and finalizing the invoice approval with the Project Manager/billing team and submits the invoice to the client.

• Subcontract management and coordination with Contract Administrators. This includes evaluating subconsultant invoice submittals for accuracy, establish and maintain purchase orders for subconsultants, and request and follow up on subcontractor payment requests with Accounts Payable.

• Identify and record unpaid contract billings, following up on any delinquent accounts receivable and/or unbilled costs.

• Respond to requests for more detail from clients, investigate all project expenses not billed to clients, and review and approve all project-related billings to clients.

• Attend project-related meetings to inform the team regarding the current status of project financials, articulating problem projects and following up on any identified actions as discussed.

• Create and submit government reports related to projects.

• Compile information for review by a more Senior Consultant prior to submitting for internal and external auditors as required.

• Remain current in latest project accounting principles and subject matter.

• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or closely-related discipline (or demonstrated proven equivalent experience).

• 1 to 3 years of relevant post education experience in accounting, project contracts and change order documents.

• Knowledge of project accounting principles, practices, and methods and their application to project work-related issues.

• Developing an analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound independent judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions with financial implications to the company.

• Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an accounting and non-accounting audience.

• Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.

• Proficient with technical writing, office automation and accounting software, technology, math principles, spreadsheets, MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, data format/sort/filter, predictive models, and tools.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply learned subject matter and technical knowledge to reach conclusions from data collation, documentation, statistical analysis, and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.

• Awareness of and adherence to WSP USA's Project Delivery Handbook.

• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

• This is a professional role and as such work deadlines and work hours may extend beyond a typical workday.

• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Oracle preferred (but not required).

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $56,400 - $93,060
