Join a team of associates at Hartness International running our Press Break Machines. You will be working with various materials in the Laser Area / Fabrication department bending parts by the blueprint drawings. The parts you will be bending are 1/16 thru thickness parts, SS or mild steel parts that have been laser cut and run the deburing process. Some parts have 1 bend or require multiple bends. You will be running safe Amada Press Breaks learning to bend the parts needed daily. At Hartness International we provide a great team working atmosphere, learning all concepts of the Fabrication trade.
What you will do:
You will receive Parts and Blueprints to bend parts on Press Break.
You will be trained how to bend and check the parts to the Blue Prints.
You will be trained on how to handle the orders and process the orders with parts.
You will receive safety training on the current Amada Press Breaks.
You will get hands on experience running 3 different types of press breaks.
You will learn how to run multiple saws to cut materials in shop.
You will learn how to go thru the QC Inspection process of parts at ITW Hartness.
You will learn 5's Lean Manufacturing.
You will learn how to understand and follow all safety rules of the shop.
A mechanical minded person that has metal fabrication knowledge.
You must be willing to learn and understand how the equipment functions.
Must be able to read and understand bending drawings.
Understanding of basic measurements / tape measurements.
Must be willing to be trained and listen to the trainers.
Understand the importance of attendance and punctuality on the job.
Critical thinking skills to diagnose problems and repair issues in an effective manner.
Multitasking capability with ability to identify and execute priority tasks.

Summary:
Hartness, an ITW Company is looking for a CNC Router Operator to run a Onsrud Router CNC meeting production requirements for parts needed daily. This position has primary responsibility for set-ups and production runs to machine aluminum, and plastic parts for Hartness manufacturing of our world class specialty packaging industry products.
What you will do:
You will receive orders from the production manager and setup and run parts on the router with material provided.
You will make the parts needed from daily production orders and do your quality inspections at the machine with measuring tools provided.
You will have a daily goal of orders/parts to make and work towards achieving daily shop goals.
What we are looking for:
Ability work well within a team environment to produce quality materials for our production and manufacturing teams
Ability to run parts on CNC equipment
Solid organizational and time management skills
Ability to comprehend specifications provided within orders and translate them to the desired parts per blue print orders
Familiarity with reading and comprehending blue prints/schematics
Understanding safety rules of the shop and the equipment
Willing to learn and be trained how to run the CNC Router at Hartness
1-3 Years of CNC Shop experience.
Experience with CNC part making in prior work experience
Experience with reading blue prints and measuring tools
Experience working in manufacturing environment

Summary:
The Material Handler will be responsible for preparing customer orders for shipment. This role will utilize material handling equipment, shrink wrapping equipment, inventory control systems, and knowledge of the warehouse layout to accomplish their functions. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency while maintaining safety are key skills for this role.
Essential Duties:
Prepares finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Completes pick lists with required documentation.
Maintain accuracy and quality of all orders being shipped.
Move material through facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc..) when applicable.
Maintains material handling equipment by completing daily pre-use inspections.
Complies with safety and hazardous material handling regulations.
Understands and monitors the Kan-ban inventory system. Performs cycle counting and stock verification.
Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper sorting and use.
Placard and label finished goods pallet for shipment.
Replenishes supplies for operators.
Follow all Company safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.
Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
6+ months related experience in a picking and packing environment preferred.
Previous forklift and order picking experience required.
Other Competencies:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally with good organizational skills required.
Able to adapt to changes in the work environment.
Must be dependable, have good attendance and be punctual.
Able to work overtime when required.

We are currently looking for an experienced thread roll setup operator to setup and operate thread headed blanks.
Compiles dimensions of stock, sequence of machining operations, and type and size of thread from charts and specifications
Selects, installs, and adjusts threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure tripping mechanism, cams, gears and pulleys.
Sets feed rails, parts bowl, and roller sorter to ensure quality parts.
Adjusts speed control knobs to synchronize transfer and ejection of stock with machine action.
Selects correct SEMS components (washers) and loads into machine.
Complies with all safety regulations and TS161949 policies.
Verifies dimensions of workpieces with specifications. Modifies and grinds thread roll dies as necessary.
Maintains, oils, and cleans machines on a regular basis. Drains and cleans oil trays; dumps scrap and sweeps floors to maintain housekeeping standards.
Recognize and inspect quality issues and troubleshoots process or quality issues with engineers to correct and document.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or the equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
5+ years' experience using thread rolling machines
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to complete routine production and quality reports
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Sets up and operates single or multi die double stroke (SDDS) cold header and forge pointer to produce quality automotive fasteners from cold metal rod or wire by performing the following duties:
. Selects, installs, and aligns died, cutting tools, guides, and stops to set up machine.

Understanding of material characteristics and proper machining techniques.
Preferred:
CNC machining experience on horizontal and/or vertical mills is strongly preferred. Prior experience with Makino horizontal mills is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with MASA5 database is a plus.
Prefer candidates with setup experience which includes tool selection and changes, offsets, program editing, etc.
Experience in a low volume/high mix environment is preferred.

Essential Functions
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the business; prepares and maintains the handbook on policies and procedures. Ensures HR policies are legally compliant.
Educates and supports employees in the use of the self-service applications available to them.
Assist with ensuring and meeting compliance programs by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions.
Assist with employee safety, wellness, community activities and health screening programs
Complete monthly HR reporting and metrics as assigned
Coordinates with hiring managers to assist in the recruiting process, interview scheduling, hiring process, applicant tracking and record keeping requirements along with screening applicants.
Organizes and conducts new employee orientation; creates a positive first experience of the company and serves as a role model for ITW values.
Inputs and maintains employee data in the HRIS system such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for reporting. Prepares regular or special reports using HRIS.
Prepares employee communication documents including new hire, disability, benefit, separation notices and related documentation. Assists in the dissemination and collection of data and forms.
Works with ITW corporate human resources or third-party providers, as necessary, in the management of employee life cycle processes and transactions.
Creates, coordinates, and conducts management/employee training in topics including interview skills, performance management, safety, harassment, ITW Principles of Conduct, and ITW business policy guidelines. Coordinates and manages e-learning administration along with management directory.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resource Management
3 years of HR generalist experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization

Knowledge of HR laws, i.e., FMLA, HR Compliance

Statistical analysis and quality metric calculation
SPC monitoring and reporting
Lab restocking, monitoring retains / disposing of retains in hazardous waste
Batch sheets and material COA's documentation

Education and Experience:
Minimum education is an Associates Degree in Chemistry or other similar technical field. BS in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering preferred. 0-3 years' work or internship experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experiences in labs and/or instrumentation, formulating non-Newtonian fluids, Excel Stat pkg and/or Mini tab as well as DOE and Statistical Process Control considered a plus. Good oral and written communication skills required. Computer literacy is required. Ability to work second shift may be required.

Primary Objective:
To ensure the timely payment of customer accounts receivable, including collection of past due customer accounts receivable by phone, e-mail and other methods as needed.
To apply customer payments and reconcile account discrepancies.
Major Areas of Accountability
Collection:
Generate and review an SAP accounts receivable aging for assigned customers each week.
Contact assigned customers for payment of past due balances.
Follow-up initial past due contacts with telephone calls, e-mail correspondence and letters as needed.
Provide invoice copies, statements and payment application detail as requested.
Record notes in the SAP collection system.
Process web invoices on websites as required by select customers to assure timely payment.
Create and maintain customer collection files as needed.
Discrepancy reconciliation:
Review the original invoice, purchase order and sales order related to each payment discrepancy.
Work with business unit staff and determine appropriate course of action.
Proceed with collection or request credit as directed by the business unit.
Cash application:
Apply payments made via check or wire transfer to outstanding accounts receivable documents.
Offset accounts receivable debits and credits as directed by customers, accounts receivable or business unit staff.
Organize and file daily cash receipts.
Provide support for general ledger and bank reconciliation.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Five years accounts receivable / credit and collections experience with exposure to accounting and customer contact.
Must have the legal right to work in the USA
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: High degree of numerical aptitude and data entry accuracy.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software (i.e. SAP).

The Buyer is a member of the Global Sourcing and Procurement team and acts as an authorized agent of the company by making purchase commitments that meet the company requirements and to facilitate the supplier performance management processes to support long term material and service requirements.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, negotiate pricing and supply agreements for assigned commodities and services
Analyze MRP data to ensure appropriate ordering levels to meet Company objectives
Execute purchase orders, including schedule line agreements and blanket orders, to meet Company demand for materials and services, which are sometimes complex in nature. Ensure all requirements, pricing, terms and conditions, and expectations are clearly documented, and manage exception messages by expediting, delaying or canceling orders as required.
Support internal customers by providing information on purchasing processes, products and suppliers. Mitigate problems by understanding customer requirements and anticipating issues that provide value in resolving supplier and purchasing related issues.
Administer bid processes, including preparation of RFQ packages, to ensure product and service requirements are documented. Evaluate suppliers' proposal for price, requirements, terms and conditions, risk and performance and value.
Maintain master data in the ERP system for Info Records, Routes, Material Masters etc. Determine MRP system settings to optimize inventory, based on established guidelines. Resolve system reconciliation issues such as invoice and receiving discrepancies.
Negotiate with suppliers by developing negotiation strategies based upon the proposal analysis to include price/cost factors, terms and conditions, and technical issues and documents and maintains contractual agreements.
Address day-to-day issues with supplier performance, such as rejections/quality issues and supplier requested schedule changes, ensuring SAP system is accurate. Support or facilitate supplier performance review meetings.
Provide feedback to support strategic sourcing, including assessments of the current situation (e.g., internal direction, suppliers, pricing trends) and identify future purchase strategies and actions to proactively reduce total costs and optimize performance.
Develop and apply technical knowledge of products assigned for purchase to add value into purchasing functions.
Other accountabilities as assigned.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment; or in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 5 years of continued advancement in a manufacturing, or business environment, plus three years of technical purchasing experience. Total experience of at least 8 years without a Bachelor's degree.
