WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Supervise the Upsell team and assist to upsell available VIP inventory to concert patrons.

Serve as a resource of information for VIP clients regarding their experience within the venue.

Coordinate operations on night of shows with venue management, servers and security.

Maintain articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with current audience.

Maintain exemplary and professional grooming standards.

Required to occasionally work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving

Experience in selling to high-end, VIP clients

Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills

Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy

Must have a flexible schedule

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful

Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet

Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques

THE GIG

Venue Nation is seeking an Usher/Greeter/Ticket Taker. As an usher, greeter or ticket taker, you help to ensure safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after the show.

WHAT YINZ WILL DO

  • Greet guests, scan guest tickets upon entry to the venue, answer guest questions, assist guests with locating their seats and examines tickets for entry to various seat levels around the venue during the event.

  • Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guest.

  • Resolve guest complaints or problems.

  • Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity.

  • Provide assistance to guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations.

  • Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

  • Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.

  • May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

  • Assist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.

  • Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.

  • Additional tasks as requested by management.

WHAT YINZ WILL BRING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • At least 1+ year in a guest service role preferred

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and occasional sitting, lifting and carrying 25 lbs.+

USANA Amphitheatre is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor for the 2022 Concert Season! The Guest Services Supervisor is a working supervisor who is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the Guest Services team within the venue. Duties may also include management functions.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Direct and supervise Guest Services staff and other employees performing similar services as directed.

  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting guests and responding to guest inquiries and complaints.

  • On an ongoing basis, leads and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.

  • Assist with managing breaks.

  • Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations.

  • Oversee productivity and work assignments of the guest services staff and communicate with management (or designated Manager) any challenges and status of all assignments prior to the conclusion of the shift.

  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.

  • Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

  • Assign and schedule team members to specific duties.

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Guest Services Manager.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years in Guest Service and communications

Behind the scenes you'll use the AWS serverless stack (lambdas and step functions) to securely orchestrate purchase steps including ticket reservation, delivery, ticket insurance, parking, and method of payment. On the front end you'll build responsive UI/UX to abstract away the complexities and keep fan excitement levels high. Your work will directly affect products used by millions every day and will have a material impact on our business.

  • Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using a modern tech stack

THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a Ground Control and Headliner Experience Team Member to provide an exceptional experience to headliners. This position will report to Ground Control and Headliner Experience Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome attendees at entrances and make everyone aware of Ground Control's presence and purpose

  • Abide by assigned shift schedule, pump water at the free water refill stations and patrol the event zones at correct times with assigned group mates

  • Learn how to operate a two-way radio and perform emergency medical calls

  • Listen attentively to the radio and respond immediately to specific calls and requests

  • Assist distressed individuals when they are in need of a helping hand

  • Memorize information provided by the event website, festival guide and staff guide to share with attendees

  • Understand evacuation procedures and locate safe refuge locations prior to the opening of each show

  • Provide support at entrance areas using megaphones to assist Headliners with directional support

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service-related work experience is preferred

  • Experience using radios and ability to work under pressure in stressful environments is required

  • Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines

  • Must be able to professionally interact with all levels of individuals in a courteous manner and de-escalate situations before they become unpleasant.

Live Nation is seeking a Backstage Experience Coordinator for the Toyota Music Factory. The position will directly report to the venue General Manger. The Backstage Experience Coordinator (BEC) will be responsible for administering various Live Nation and venue designed programs to support local production & touring personnel.   • The Backstage Experience Coordinator will meet & greet the tours upon arrival to the venue and be available to assign dressing rooms and is the point of contact for all hospitality needs.

  • Where possible- Coordinate with Porters to wash, dry and fold all tour laundry as well as hand and bath towels. The Backstage Experience Coordinator will work with Porters to check dressing rooms periodically through the day to tidy up and collect any towels to be washed.

  • Partner with local backstage catering to ensure the Artists rider requirements are met and the culinary experience exceeds the artist's and touring personnel's expectations.

  • Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating the bands about our efforts.

  • Will be the backstage brand ambassador and the face of the service culture program.

  • Responsible for completing the Post Event Service Recap and analyze other venue service reports to create action plans for service improvements in partnership with the Artist Services team & Venue GM.

  • Research best practices and collaborate with the Artist Services team & Venue GM to develop venue opportunities to increase engagement, increase Artist/Crew satisfaction.

  • Work with Production Managers & Catering Teams to help facilitate advances.

  • Pre and post show walk through with checklist to make ready all backstage Artist & Touring crew areas and notate any damage to be repairs.

  • Work with Local Catering to oversee all dressing room and bus stock, including after-show meal coordination.

  • In coordination with the General and Production Managers, co-manage any applicable backstage program budget and process vendor invoices.

  • Will act as the lead in maintaining metrics and sharing information with the Artist Services Team, tracking historic data on Tours & details regarding Artist choices/favorites and manage the backstage tour personnel survey and competition rate for your venue.

  • Partner with the venue's Production Manager, Artist Services team and LN Tour rep to create memorable, hospitality-minded moments at every show, including but not limited to birthdays and special celebrations.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

THE ROLE

The Box Office Attendant will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service related to ticketing at the box office or ticket resolution areas.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Actively participate in a training session for the Front Gate box office system in order to effectively help patrons who need assistance regarding their ticket order.

  • Quickly and efficiently identify a customer's will call order by verifying all pertinent customer information including the customer's name, email and credit card in order to distribute tickets to patron's properly.

  • Resolve any scanning issues that may occur with a patron's ticket at the gate in a timely and courteous manner.

  • Accurately administer cash and credit card transactions with Front Gate POS system.

  • Daily transmittal of credit card batches

  • Reconciles pretty cash and processes for reimbursement

THE JOB

The Security Manager will help plan and carry out the organization's security strategy. This role will help develop the annual security strategy, report on status, and schedule work between all security teams. THE JOB

The Assistant General Manager will provide support and assistance to the General Manager. This role will work closely with division leadership, local municipalities and will have a close tie to all hourly event-based employees at the venue. The Role:

As a seller you will be assigned to and responsible for a point of sale in the venue where artist merchandise is sold. THE JOB

This is a hybrid position that involves operational responsibilities for both ticketed events such as concerts and shows as well as special events, both private and corporate.

THE JOB

Red Mountain Entertainment is looking for an energetic, strategic thinker to provide ticketing operations and general administrative support for our expanding team.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Assist with reviewing and submiting show build to venues

  • Compile starting audit checklist for shows

  • Maintain reconciliation reports and communicate regularly with Venue Box Office staff and company booking staff

  • Work with Venue Box office to request scaling maps

  • Set up, monitor and adjust special ticketing offers and promotions

  • Work with Live Nation Touring to check their submitted show builds

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

THE ROLE

Insomniac is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Merchandise Booth Cashier to join the Merchandise team. We are seeking Merchandise Booth Cashiers who will be responsible for many tasks, including ringing up customers' purchases at their booths, follow directions from management, and maintain best practices for the department and organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle merchandise purchase transactions. Ensure customer is satisfied with product being purchased before completing the transaction.

  • Count in all product received. Count out all product at the end of the show.

  • Help set up merch booth and product displays based on guidance from Insomniac Merch mgmt. team.

  • Input the correct products into the cash register or Point of Sale (POS), to ensure accurate inventory is kept

  • Provide excellent customer service and relations

  • Help maintain booth cleanliness and organization throughout festival or event.

  • Follow all safety and theft prevention procedures

  • Execute day to day tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Cash handling experience is required

  • Must have great customer service skills

  • Must be well organized and detail- oriented

  • Basic math and counting skills are required

  • General knowledge of live entertainment and Insomniac brands/shows

  • Travel is required to and from work location; lodging is not provided.

THE JOB

Live Nation and SPAC are seeking a Box Office Representative who will assist guests for live events by performing duties, such as selling admission tickets for concerts and classical events, assist in suggesting seats available, and providing day of show information by phone and/or Box Office windows.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Sell admission tickets and passes to Live Nation concerts and SPAC classical events at the Box Office and over the phone.

  • Greet guests attending events who come to the box office.

  • Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued.

Job Description

Job Summary:

Position Title: Security Officer

Department: Music Hall

Reports To: Music Hall Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

  • Greet, bid farewell and thank every guest

  • Offer information to guests regarding entertainment schedules, specials, hours of operation, menu etc.

  • Operate lifts for guests requiring assistance

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure guest safety

  • Prevent and resolve altercations among guests

  • Deal with disruptive guests and, if necessary, see that they leave the premises

  • Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift

  • Check identification of all guests who do not appear to be of legal drinking age (must have ID books from all states)

  • Prevent guests without proper identification from entering the premises

  • Enforce House policy regarding photos/videos/recording devices

  • Safeguard against theft

  • Communicate with artists regarding needs and/or requests

  • Protect the privacy of artists

  • Ensure the proper maintenance of stanchions and barriers, including the lifting/moving of stanchions and barriers up to 150 lbs.

  • Assist with Private and Special Events

  • Maintain necessary communications with all departments

  • Communicate with radios (all door staff and management should remain in constant contact throughout shift)

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to work late hours

  • Must be a team player

  • Understand guest service

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must be able to obtain an alcohol awareness card

  • Must obtain NV Gaming Control Board Registration

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in security or crowd control

  • Experience in customer service in a face to face environment.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

  • Working environment is very fast-paced

  • May require standing for extended periods of time

  • May require light lifting / moving of items from time to time
