Consultatively sell batteries, light bulbs and accessory items to retail and commercial customers. Pleasantly engage customers, listen to what they have to say about their batteries/systems and lighting needs, and recommend solutions. Perform battery tests, installations, and battery pack rebuilds. Contribute as a Team Member to the overall success of the store. Associates must be able to lift 50 + pounds, should have a valid driver's license, and must have access to reliable transportation.

Customer Service / Sales Associate

• While working: Live a "Customer First" mentality

• Perform Customer Service / Sales duties.

• Greet customers promptly, determine needs and answer questions.

• Suggest needed sales add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities to achieve sales goals.

• Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers.

• Operate computer/cash register to initiate and complete sales transactions.

• Answer phones, assist callers, and ensure messages are relayed in a timely, accurate manner.

• Maintain the facility, inventory, property, and customer service levels to management standards.

• Develop and maintain current knowledge of product and service offerings

Merchandising / Inventory

• Rotate and stock inventory; perform inventory counts as required.

• Maintain retail shelf label pricing.

• Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures.

• Prepare store for daily opening and closing.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/equivalent and 2 years prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Prior retail experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's products, processes, point of sale, and cross reference systems.

• Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus.

• Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects.

• Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios and algebraic expressions and read gauges.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and or technical experience desired.

System and Platform Maintenance

• Sustain, enhance, and build automation tools to detect, remediate, and prevent security threats

• Implement and maintain Intrusion Response and Detection (IDR) Systems

• Know how effective our current security measures are at Batteries Plus

• Identify our compliance strategies in regard to PCI, and NIST security frameworks

Description:

• Assist the manager and store associates to achieve sales objectives and to maintain the facility. Develop general store management and operational skills.

  Duties :Operations Management

Assistant Store Manager

Batteries Plus, the nation's largest, fastest-growing battery and light bulb franchise, is looking for a customer-focused Assistant Manager in to assist the Store Manager and Store Associates in achieving sales objectives and maintaining efficient store operations.

Duties Include:

• Work with Manager to develop and implement the Store's business plan, and all company programs and initiatives, as well as evaluate performance compared to plan and benchmarks. Implement operational activities to control costs while driving the business.

• Lead and direct all store operations activities including purchasing, receiving, inventory management, customer order management, sales floor recovery, out-of-stock review and store organization and cleanliness.

Position: Sales Associate -Battery & Cell phone Repair

Reports to: Store Manager

FLSA status: Non-exempt

Pay range: $ 15-20/Hourly Depending upon experience, Position: Part Time (35-38 hours/week)

Essential Responsibilities:

Pleasantly engage customers and listen to what they have to say about their batteries, Device repair and lighting needs, and recommend solutions. Assist Store Manager in delivering monthly retail/commercial goals.

Sales Associate - Duties:

+ + Prepare store for daily opening or closing including counting and reconciling register drawer.

• Maintain retail shelf label pricing & displays to achieve full store appearance.

• Process E-com orders, Warranty and Ship Short RMA's.

• Prepare and send pricing quotes to commercial customers.

• Make weekly follow-up calls to existing as well as new commercial customers.

• Update Sales force after customer follow-up calls

• Assist in all store operations as assigned by Store Manager including Quarterly Inventory Audit.

• Test & Install Cell phone, Tablet, Laptop batteries.

• Repair Cell Phones, Tablet screens & other parts as needed.

• Test & Install Automotive batteries, Watch Batteries & Key fob batteries.

• Proactively sell Automotive, Motorcycle, Boat & House Keys/Key fobs.

• Load, unload and deliver or arrange delivery of products.

• Maintain Medallion & Google review score @ 80% + and 4.8+ by providing exceptional service.

• Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  Sales Associate - Qualification:

• Minimum 2-3-year of previous Sales or Service experience is desired.

• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn cell phone repair and Key programming.

• Ability to lift 50+ Lbs. and install automotive batteries.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record is desired.

• Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's electronic retail and cross-referencing system.

• Demonstrated technical skill and have the ability to work small parts and tools for phone repair and device repair.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred. Required for driving positions

• Ability to lift 50 + lbs.

Assistant Store Manager

Duties Include:
