The Opportunity:

As the Configuration Manager you will support EP-3E, Minotaur Family of Systems (MFoS), Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO), and P-8A QRC tasks. You will provide leadership for a cross-functional team that includes military, government civilians and other contractor support services (CSS) personnel. You will direct the development of formal technical directives to support the full range of special mission systems for PMA-290.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for applying configuration and data management control disciplines to the design, development, and support of software, hardware, and other complex systems.

  • Develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's or solution's performance, functional, and technical attributes and its requirements, design, and technical specifications throughout its lifecycle.

  • Develops standards, processes, and controls supporting product/solution configuration, data management, and release activities.

  • Provides guidance and status to software developers, engineering staff, quality assurance, and configuration/release teams related to process and tool design alternatives, solution lifecycle processes, and compliance with established procedures for configuration/data management.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Possess an active US DoD Secret clearance

  • Experience with DoD configuration management process, NAVAIRINST 4130.l D, DoD Configuration Management Policies and Processes.

  • Knowledge of DoD systems engineering and DoD acquisition policies.

  • Experience in analyzing and preparing logistics documentation to include configuration management plans.

  • The ability to clearly communicate and articulate Configuration Management terms, policies, and practices.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (experience substitutions authorized).

  • Candidate will work closely with Project Managers to support world-wide travel planning, reservations, and itinerary development.

  • Reconcile travel changes by working closely with contract approved travel office in acquiring receipts of previously contracted flights and manage carrier travel credits for each traveler.

  • Provide timely and accurate Electronic Country Clearance submission and approvals for travelers through client travel system.

This includes being able to work as an individual or a member of a small team across all aspects of air, ground and maritime environments while effectively operating uncrewed systems enabled with WMD sensors.

It is critical to be able to support logistical and maintenance focused support across the organic uncrewed systems and associated sensors. It is crucial that you must be able to be adaptable and work constructively with a tactically and technically diverse team.

You will work as part of a multifunctional team of subject matter experts to assist DoD customers with detecting WMDs through the deployment of uncrewed systems and WMD detection sensors. You must be prepared to support DTRA CO leadership on required maintenance and logistics that include best practices, budget requirements and support contract efforts. CACI-SOAS is looking for an experienced Uncrewed Systems (sUAS Pilot/Trainer) Specialist to join the DTRA DA team to support DTRA's Contingency Operations (CO) Department by providing direct tactical and operational support to their mission to Counter-Weapons of Mass Destruction (C-WMD) by operating mission focused and sensor arrayed Uncrewed Systems. As required, you must be prepared to support the DTRA client to provide tactical and operational uncrewed systems' support to their global C-WMD mission with dedicated support to each of the Combatant Commands (CCMDs) and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) that includes CONUS and OCONUS travel.

As an Uncrewed Systems (sUAS Pilot/Trainer) Specialist, you will work along US Department of Defense (DoD) forces and other government agencies to provide mission focused support to detect and identify chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. This includes being able to work as an individual or a member of a small team across all aspects of air, ground and maritime environments while effectively operating uncrewed systems enabled with WMD sensors. It is critical to develop and foster a culture of innovation and creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technically and procedurally. It is crucial that you must be able to be adaptable and work constructively with a tactically and technically diverse team.

More About the Role:

You will work as part of a multifunctional team of subject matter experts to assist DoD customers with detecting WMDs through the deployment of uncrewed systems and WMD detection sensors. You must be prepared to conduct routine training, testing and evaluation of uncrewed systems and sensors across diverse operational environments. This includes supporting both CONUS and OCONUS TDYs and deployments that potentially include austere combat environments and assist to generate recommended solutions based upon experience working with diverse elements of the DoD. You will work closely with members of CO team to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of organic uncrewed systems through employment of military tests and evaluations across various operational environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Frequent travel to both CONUS and OCONUS sites.

  • Operate uncrewed systems for test and evaluation across various operational environments.

  • Troubleshoot and fine-tune uncrewed systems in the field.

  • Plan and analyze test results.

  • Operate, maintain, and train use of uncrewed systems (i.e., assembly, power on, storing, packaging).

  • Research and integration of new components supporting uncrewed systems.

More About this Role:

As the ARSOF Requirements Document Writer, you will support USASOC staff integrated planning teams (IPTs) with subject matter expertise on the Special Operations Forces Capability Integration and Development System (SOFCIDS) process. You will integrate IPT recommendations into the development and staffing of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) Change Recommendations (DCRs) that are part of SOFCIDS process for updating and changing ARSOF capabilities. After the DCR documents are submitted to USSOCOM and approved, the requirements writer will also assist with developing and staffing U.S. Army Force Design Updates (FDU).

Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • Implement systems and processes to manage product workflow to support the project's operational requirements and the command's force modernization priorities.

  • Ensures the quality of analyses, assessments, and data research.

  • Develops and maintain relationships with the respective Capability Managers to assist the Force Modernization Center staff in meeting their responsibilities, functions, and tasks within the Capabilities Determination, Capabilities Development, and Capabilities Integration sections.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
