What You'll Get to Do:
We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer/Administrator to maintain our enclave for a small but very powerful team of data analysts and threat hunters focused on a wide range of cyber security issues. The ideal candidate will jump right in, take ownership of our infrastructure, and work directly with users to support a wide variety of engineering and systems administration tasks. If you are the kind of person who likes a challenge, takes ownership of their domain and tasks, works well with very little supervision, and enjoys a job whose output is measured in impact to national security objectives, this might be the role for you. A wide variety of tasks come to our Cloud Engineer/Administrator, including but not limited to:
Troubleshooting Skills (System and Process Debugging, Logs, Centos, Linux, system admin) - self-learner, requires ability to monitor and remediate problems before impact production, and during deployments of new code/services. Future tasks may include setting up service and host monitoring using tools like Nagios (or similar AWS constructs)
CI/CD Deployment: Jenkins, Bash, SSH, PKI, Ansible, Gradle, ability to create new pipelines and scripts from scratch. Codify new deployment/build/production/test workflows into automation as time allows.
AWS User Data (EC2 + S3 + SQS) writing application logs, data flows/mapping/configuration/troubleshooting, Cloud Formation, AWS CDK experience (with TypeScript as well)
Software development/scripting: Bash, TypeScript (Required), Java debugging/troubleshooting a plus (not required)
Fundamentals of Linux services: init/systemd scripts, cron, system tracing, network configuration, iptables, syslog, TLS configuration, LDAP configuration, PKI generation (mtls and Server certificate/Key from CA using CSR), user admin, permissions, hardening, logging, elastic+kibana centralized logging(potentially splunk in the future), wireshark/tcpdump.

More About the Role:
As the selected candidate, you will facilitate the adoption and employment of the MARS program across the Intelligence Community:
Provide MARS demonstrations to assigned personnel at DIA, component commands, and service intelligence production centers.
Assist users with learning and using the functions within MARS.

The Strategy Policy Analyst will play a key role in managing the entire planning process for the organization and provide new and innovative ideas and strategies as well as policies to achieve determined goals, while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies. The position will support the customer in planning, delivering, and implementing high-priority strategic projects that contributes to the overall strategy and help drive its successful execution. The Strategy Policy Analyst will assist in trouble shooting current problems and implement effective solutions.
