Job Summary
Provides IT support of corporate Firewall infrastructure that consists of over 660 physical and virtual firewalls. Applies solutions to business and technical issues through customer interactions in the design, debugging, testing, and integration/implementation of firewalls including firewall design and network troubleshooting.
What You Will Do:
This position reports to an Information Technology Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the quality and reliability of the firewall infrastructure.
Performing firewall rule implementation and quality reviews.
Implementing new firewalls for startup sites.
Implementing core firewall management and logging equipment.
Troubleshooting routing and connectivity issues.
Participating in the On-Call rotation.
Completing EOL firewall replacements and upgrades to the firewall environment.
Working on complex infrastructure technology components.
Executing change management process practices.
Assisting customers and co-workers with documentation, training and usability efforts.
What You Have:
Relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience: Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree with an emphasis on computer networking.
Strong work experience in Information Technology or preferably a Network or Firewall related area of a business.
Knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar's organization with strong business acumen and professionalism.
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time as well as well as being a collaborative team member.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make network changes as needed to resolve issues.
Ability to respond to demanding target dates.

What you will do::
Serve as the trusted advisor for assigned supply base
Assess potential suppliers via on-site Quality Audits process control implementation and effectiveness. Validate process capability
Drive implementation of Lean, BIQ, and APQP
Continuously review production readiness through rigorous review of Supplier APQP elements
Collaborate with suppliers to assure proper process control standards are in place and continuously monitor key manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities
Provide technical support during start-up activities and provide ongoing strategic support
Will be responsible for the supplier's processes from design concept to the end of the product life

PRIMARY FUNCTION :
Set up and operate a CNC horizontal lathe to produce high quality production parts in a safe and efficient manner.
Use of related components and equipment including: metal cutting tools and inserts, work holding and clamping equipment, various hand tools, and precision measuring instruments. Jib and overhead cranes used for material handling.
Description:
Identify work piece and assist in loading on machine.
Set up and align part using work holding equipment such as vices, jaws, chucks, clamps, etc.
Assemble proper cutting tools for operation using tool holders, turning tools, and indexable cutting inserts.
Load CNC program and perform a trial run to check program accuracy when needed.
Perform very close tolerance machining operations such as turning, grooving, threading on large steel castings and forgings.
Use process instructions and G & M code program to operate CNC lathe.
Adjust or select machine parameters such as feed rate, speed, and offset values where required.
Perform in process inspection of machined parts as required to maintain quality requirements.
Make appropriate program changes and edits where required. May on occasion need to operate machine manually, without program.
Assist in unloading and remove processed parts from machine.
Clean up work piece removing burrs, chips, coolant, etc.
Keep facilities, material, and work area clean and orderly,
Conform to safety and inspection requirements and perform all the above operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
One to three years of actual, hands on, CNC lathe turning experience; demonstrate good skill and ability on the machines operated.
Read and interpret part drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use quality inspection gaging, indicating, and measuring techniques including verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
Know basic machine shop math, including high school trigonometry.
Know basic machine shop practices.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of machining terminology and procedures.
Demonstrate a safe work history.

Develop automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency in both the hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) and software-in-the-loop (SiL) space

In this role you will lead and execute Global Parts Pricing (GPP) major price change system and Parts Pricing compliance related processes. You will also partner with Caterpillar IT to support the Parts Pricing Information and Distribution System (PPIDS) and Parts Pricing Publication website (PPUBS) legacy pricing systems.
What you will do:
Plans and executes Global Parts Pricing major price change tasks required to create dealer price file publications. Responsibilities include timeline management, simulation monitoring, data validation, and overall system execution
Supports and completes repeating compliance processes such as price change audits, SOX audits, approval processes, PPI reviews, and system access management
Maintains policy, guideline and procedural documentation applicable to responsible areas
Proactively manages troubleshooting investigative efforts, grief resolution and communications relating to legacy system disruptions and abends, batch maintenance uploads and process failures
Owns PPUBS group mailbox and responds promptly to dealer inquiries

Caterpillar's Remanufacturing Division is looking for a 2nd shift Manager of Production for our Corinth, Mississippi facility. This position will oversee and coordinate the activities of a more complex production line, prepare schedules, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Creating reports and records of production processes, tools issues performance, and inventory; sharing them with managers and providing suggestions to improve safety, productivity and quality.
Preparing, maintaining, and updating documentation related to operating procedures and safety and quality standards; ensuring all processes and products meet desired safety and quality standards.
Supervising and directing the daily activities of production lines workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Job Summary:
This role leads a team of engineers developing, validating, and supporting sensors for application on Cat engines and machines.
Leads all aspects of the product line, including designs from research, concept, production to end of life, including cost, quality, and delivery.
What You Will Do:
This job opening is for a component development engineering project lead within the Caterpillar ICS Electrical Components division. The candidate will be a member of the team responsible for worldwide design control of sensing components. The incumbent will work on critical new technology development for the next-generation sensing components to support Caterpillar machine and engines application needs. This leader will also conduct sensor component NPI/NTI development relevant both to Caterpillar machine or engine application requirements. These components are primarily purchased finished and utilize a wide range of product & process technologies. The incumbent will be responsible for a family or sub-family of products and will manage product line strategy, technology MGPP, all new application requests, quality & cost improvement projects, and work necessary to ensure continuity of product supply. Additionally, the incumbent will manage development of new products by leveraging a research processes (TRL) L1/L2 NPI, and APQP processes for specification, sourcing, design & process verification, and production launch. The position will require collaboration with a global supply base, purchasing, product support, parts marketing, electronic system & sub-system teams, aftermarket solutions, machine and engine product groups. The incumbent will assist with the development and execution of product, sourcing, and life cycle management strategies. Specific job activities include requirements new technology introduction and new product development, supplier selection, project management, DVP&R planning/execution, stakeholder review delivery, and project leadership of continuous improvement project (quality & cost).

The Lifecycle Manager for Ground Engaging Tools (GET) is accountable for ensuring competitive solutions across the GET portfolio specifically focused on Construction Industries (CI) customers. The incumbent will be responsible for deliver aftermarket growth and business results with a focus on leading initiatives which attract new customers and grow share of wallet with existing customers. The successful Lifecycle Manager will closely collaborate with Caterpillar enterprise business partners and go-to-market teams to address enhancements and impediments to growth including pricing, product support, marketing, inventory, and cost reduction. As such, this individual will develop strategies to optimize the parts sales portfolio as measured by POPS-C, parts margin, OPACC-C, inventory and material cost. This position reports to the Global Senior Commercial Manager and will play a critical, influential role in driving growth.

What You Will Do:
Ensures the growth, health and profitability of the CI GET aftermarket parts business. Understands CI Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Voice of the Business (VOB) to align and prioritize product group initiatives which will yield the most positive impact.
Works across a global matrix organization with all process partners, including go-to-market teams, to ensure the critical aspects of Seed/Grow/Harvest of the parts business are managed and parts challenges are addressed at the product group level.
Serves as Solution Owner for CI GET Dealer Dependencies. Drives action and resolution within the GET product group through delivery to the field.
Championing the parts business to the Machine Business Division (MBD) for CI products by providing strategy leadership.
Develops strategy for New Product Introduction (NPI), inventory management, cost reduction, and services to maximize profitability, product stability and optimization of parts sales' portfolio.
Provides product group support to CI-led GET dealer workshops.
Assures product support and service engineering activities for CI GET are appropriate to support customer and dealer services for parts, service and warranty support and assures field knowledge is integrated into new product development.
Key Processes Managed:
Parts Annual Business Plan (ABP): Contribute to the Parts margin and parts net sales and transfers for CI GET product.
POPS Growth: Lead the strategy and growth goals for current products and NPI, further the application of intellectual property, branding, retrofit, upgrades and digital experience for parts growth.
Expanded Offerings: Provide objective and subjective data to influence CI GET NPI projects. Develop strategy to address customer needs and profitably grow. Serve as commercial workstream lead for GET NPI Projects which are applicable to CI customers.
Lifecycle Solution Improvements: Including but not limited to contribute to service part reuse and rationalization, customer contracts (CVA's), service efficiency and components improvement, to achieve lowest operating costs. Analyze portfolio for trends and recommendations. Provides lifecycle solutions to optimally release, manage and discontinue/rationalize service parts portfolio.
Liaison with Cross-Enterprise Partners: Leads parts-related discussions and drive decisions, own CI GET dealer dependency resolution.
Parts Marketing: Collaborate with parts marketing and distribution organization on sales programs.
OPACC-C/Margin Optimization: Including by not limited to leading pricing study definition, cost reduction project definition and execution, lead negative margin parts resolutions initiatives.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
Previous commercial-related or customer-facing experience, including in the functional areas of Marketing and/or Sales Support of Component/Products/Applications, Product Support, Engineering, or Logistics.
Previous experience in a project leadership-related role where the use of analytical tools and problem-solving methods such as Sigma/Lean and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) have been utilized.

In this role you will support Construction Industries Global Accounts by driving improved customer loyalty for both parts growth and machine sales growth. You will develop a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model that will be leveraged to support Customer Value Agreement (CVA) growth, Ground Engaging Tool (GET) Cost Per Hour (CPH), rebuild analysis as a comparison to percentage of new models and support Global Construction & Infrastructure Division (GCI) on new machine tenders. In addition, the position will be responsible to develop a strategy that is tied to discount programs to support the aftermarket for rebuilds, GET, CVAs. This is a great opportunity for you to highlight your ability to influence while building and enhancing your network as you will collaborate with both the GCI and CISD Global Account Managers and leverage the internal business partners of CISD to develop best practices.
What You Will Do:
Negotiate complex, single, and multi-year signed agreements by Caterpillar and customer executives when TCO is included.
Develop aftermarket services offerings and create / modify merchandising programs to support the desired TCO.
Support Total Maintenance and Repair, CVA contract quoting.
Familiarize yourself with the customers TCO purchasing decisions that impact both rebuilds and new machine purchases.
Identify and resolve unmet customer needs focused on lowest TCO analysis.
Develop and support the process to calculate, define and explain carbon impact on rebuild vs new and Cat Reman utilization.
Ensure commitments are executed per the contract, manages aftermarket offerings, and drives consistency for customers on a worldwide basis.
Achieve business plans for both new machine sales and parts sales to users, including the development of aftermarket services to support the customers short and long strategy.
