What You Will Do:

  • Support internal and external customers with engine quotes, orders, deliveries and billing documents

  • Analyze information to provide a recommendation for SAP ECC enhancements

  • Document and communicate business issues to a technical team so issues may be routinely identified and resolved.

  • Provide functional configuration, maintenance, and support for Customer Solution Quoter (Dealer Ordering tool), Sales and Distribution (SD), Design to Order (DTO), and OMP interfaces to legacy systems.

  • Consult with technical team on the design for system break/fix and enhancements

  • Document and maintain business process documentation for unique ordering scenarios

  • Reduce work-around processes to simplify quote to invoice process.

What You Have:

  • Advanced analytical skills; ability to adapt to multiple cultures and countries; strong influencing skills;

  • Advanced Communication skills: ability to simplify complex information and develop clear communications and presentation materials to a variety of audiences;

  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects of different sizes and Projects leadership.

  • Extensive working knowledge of ordering systems (preferably related to Caterpillar Energy & Transportation products, but can include machines, parts or other ordering systems)

  • Understanding of Pricing procedures

  • Understanding of Data Steward and Governance

  • Experience with Lean principles and practices

  • Experience with tools like Power BI, DevOps or ServiceNow

  • Understanding of the Caterpillar organization, products, policies, and procedures.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Advanced experience in roles related to sales, marketing, information technology or business development that include, but not limited to: Order Management, Experience designing, leading business processes or Project Management

  • Extensive experience with SAP

  • Native/Advanced English

The Senior Manager - Digital Program Management oversees strategic planning, integration and delivery of the key elements in the Digital Aftermarket Services program, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Caterpillar's Digital, IT, Product and Aftermarket organizations. Key responsibilities include:

Role Definition

Manages employees who are responsible for development projects, teams, and facility site support functions. This role has the responsibility of providing secure and reliable IT services and site support solutions to the Load & Haul Product Group, and the following Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP) manufacturing sites: Decatur, IL; South Milwaukee, WI; Sumter, SC.   • Provide operational support to keep factories and offices efficient and secure.

  • Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards.

  • Partner within the Caterpillar IT division and other IT organizations to align strategic and tactical enterprise solutions and ensure smooth transitions with key systems changes.

  • Maximize staff contributions through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.

  • Responsibilities consist of IT leadership to Caterpillar factories to enable Mobile Device Management (MDM) services for mobile devices (barcode scanners, wearables, tablets, etc.) through the MobiControl platform. Description

To develop and support the system solution functionality of one or more applications or business processes for Caterpillar.

Job Duties

  • Support S&OP practitioners and participants in the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process: Machine Forecasters, Prime Product and Attachment schedulers, S&OP Coordinators, PDC / Logistics Node Planners, amongst others.

  • This includes development and delivery of user training in IBP (Integrated Business Planning solution from SAP), as well as S&OP reporting solutions

  • Provide proactive insights to S&OP participants

  • Perform quality checks / Root Cause Corrective Action to maintain good solution health in the S&OP process

  • Perform direct internal customer support

  • Serve as Lead for S&OP Process Master Data Management administration and coordination.

  • Collaborate and administer to Caterpillar's Product Hierarchy - various levels of models, working with Brand Marketing and Engineering on nomenclature rules

  • Serve as Lead for S&OP process Long-Term Forecast Administration and coordination.

  • Collaborate and administer to Caterpillar's Long-Term Forecast process - applying models, facilities, and other attributes into the Long-term Forecast process

  • Contribute to innovation on existing as well as next generation of S&OP products and solution design

Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Disassembly II position located in the Corinth, MS facility . In this position, you will work across multiple disassembly stations/departments and train others in areas which may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Disassembly of engines and/or components

  • Salvage & Repair operation of engine components

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to disassemble and/or salvage engine components

  • Salvage processes will include basic welding, use of acetylene torches and manual and/or radial drills

  • Use of hand tools, power tools and hoists are required

  • Cross training in other positions up to and including Salary Grade 2 may be required based upon basic qualifications and physical requirements being met. Those positions could include: Disassembly 1, Cleaning 1, 2, Assembly 1, 2, Machining 1, 2, and Logistics 1

  • Reference other position postings for specific qualifications and physical requirements.

  • Utilize various computer systems including email on a regular basis

  • All operators will adhere to Built-in-Safety guidelines

  • Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated

  • Operator will work in a team environment

  • Candidate will work in an environment without close supervision

Basic Qualifications:

  • Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data)

  • Required to read/write and interpret documents.

  • Knowledge of engines and components

  • Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc.)

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel

Physical Requirements:

  • Job may be physically demanding at times and must be able to handle high volume fast-paced operation.

  • May work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures

  • May walk, squat and bend for intervals of 15-30 minutes

  • Must be able to wear proper PPE.

  • May be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs. multiple times per shift.

  • Must be able to stand for up to 10+ hours per shift.

Job Description

Join a talented embedded software team responsible for the lowest layer of diesel engine software. In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a global software development team of 6 to 10 team members. You will have ownership for software design and architecture and work closely with other teams to help deliver quality software on time. You will be part of a large development team and work closely with others to create software and electronic systems to control engine performance and communicate with other devices.

The Building Construction Products (BCP) Division team is comprised of more than 7,000 employees-from assemblers and accountants to marketing professionals and engineers-we work in factories, warehouses, and offices all over the world.

Develop and recommend solutions to problems of limited scope and complexity and may develop and recommend solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. The incumbent is challenged to carefully evaluate problems and review a number of possible solutions before selecting one option. Works with process owners and governance Council to ensure correct level of approval is determined for process changes and updated documentation is provided to all service centers.
