Caterpillar is looking for an Account Maintenance Strategist located in Houston, TX. As an Account Maintenance Strategist, you will aggregate, correlate and create Caterpillar customer and dealer recommendations using the 5 elements of condition monitoring in order to provide critical suggested actions to help customers lower owning and operating costs, improve availability, and reduce warranty costs. These recommendations will improve customer loyalty, increase enterprise market share, and grow parts and service sales, while reducing the customer's costs through equipment management efficiency.
Job duties, include, but are not limited to:
Aggregates and correlates the five elements of condition monitoring, where all are available.
Functions as a subject matter expert for each of the condition monitoring five elements.
Provides equipment recommendations to Caterpillar dealers and customers.
Uses enabling software tools & systems to prioritize and analyze condition monitoring data inputs.
Extracts or is provided data from the appropriate business systems including customer, dealer and contractor sources.
Provides information for equipment management lead tracking and resolution.
Prepares standard written reports of recommendations for customers and their Caterpillar dealers on a monthly basis.
Facilitates ongoing customer meetings with Caterpillar dealers, industry groups, Corporate Accounts, and DSDs.
Communicates verbal recommendations as required to customers and their Caterpillar dealers.
Builds collaborative relationships & acts as a consultant with equipment management personnel.
Mentors & coaches other condition monitoring advisors, consultants, & pre field representatives.
Basic Qualifications:
10 plus years of experience in the product support and/or engineering fields
Strong customer service/contact experience, communication, multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational skills
ability to work in team environment and work with diverse groups of customers and business partners.
A degree in engineering, business, marketing and/or equivalent application experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Capable of providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
initiative and ability to resolve issues either individually or through appropriate team guidance
Working knowledge of engines, power train, hydraulic systems, Product LinkTM, VIMS, inspection process, equipment lifecycle planning, S-O-SSM Services, and the Service Information System

Inspect parts using CMM to verify they meet required specifications

Perform gauge verifications and repairs on various gauges including bore gauges, thread gauges, ring masters, torque wrenches, etc.

Minimum 1-year experience performing audits on incoming material and produced parts

As a Packaging Engineer, you will design and develop returnable and expendable packaging for individual piece parts and bulk shipping to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of material. Proper packaging design includes part containment, protection, and optimization of transportation and other supply chain functions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Establish packaging and processing specifications at the part number level for new product introductions, cost savings, or other supply chain improvement
Communicate with existing facilities on packaging issues related to receiving, warehousing, and/or line side delivery
Perform cost analysis on current packaging processes and recommend changes where appropriate
Lead low risk Green Belt projects
Perform activities to ensure parts are protected, shipped, and delivered to the customer in a usable fashion
Develop packaging solutions to protect finished painted components
Design for transport efficiency
Perform containerization analysis, testing, and quoting
Validate new packaging and containers during pilot phase
Coordinate with operations for storage and ergonomic considerations
Develop kitting packaging
Validate returnable quantities through simulations
Resolve safety and / or quality issues caused by current packaging
Resolve issues reported by customers and process partners
Develop, communicate and maintain supplier packaging requirements
Audit conformance to packaging specification
Joint Process Improvement with packaging vendors and purchasing
Create packaging concepts using 3D modeling software (i.e. Pro-E)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of industrial packaging experience
Project management experience

As a Packaging Engineer, you will design and develop returnable and expendable packaging for individual piece parts and bulk shipping to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of material. Proper packaging design includes part containment, protection, and optimization of transportation and other supply chain functions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Establish packaging and processing specifications at the part number level for new product introductions, cost savings, or other supply chain improvement
Communicate with existing facilities on packaging issues related to receiving, warehousing, and/or line side delivery
Perform cost analysis on current packaging processes and recommend changes where appropriate
Lead low risk Green Belt projects
Perform activities to ensure parts are protected, shipped, and delivered to the customer in a usable fashion
Develop packaging solutions to protect finished painted components
Design for transport efficiency
Perform containerization analysis, testing, and quoting
Validate new packaging and containers during pilot phase
Coordinate with operations for storage and ergonomic considerations
Develop kitting packaging
Validate returnable quantities through simulations
Resolve safety and / or quality issues caused by current packaging
Resolve issues reported by customers and process partners
Develop, communicate and maintain supplier packaging requirements
Audit conformance to packaging specification
Joint Process Improvement with packaging vendors and purchasing
Create packaging concepts using 3D modeling software (i.e. Pro-E)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Packaging, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
2+ years of industrial packaging experience
Project management experience

Job Purpose
We are actively searching for Learning & Development Analytics Consultant with a strong understanding of people data, workforce development, and learning and development processes, plus a passion for data and analytics with the corresponding communication skills to effectively reinforce what matters most.

Job Description:
Caterpillar's Resource Industries Operations & Products (RIOP) Project Manager is a manufacturing subject matter expert within a high-performing Manufacturing Strategy team with responsibilities across the division. The incumbent will be accountable for developing and leading (or supporting another project lead) complex projects and programs at a division & facility level. Role includes managing New Source Introduction (NSI) footprint projects, supporting NPI programs, assisting with sourcing decisions, analyzing various production facilities and processes, guiding other manufacturing facility leaders, and developing production alternatives.
Seeking a subject matter expert who has extensive experience with machining processes and is familiar with tool design, including the ability to guide fixturing and tooling concepts and design. Experience leading a new machine tool project is desirable. Project management experience is also important, as you will need to work with PMO analysts or use MS Project to execute a project. Ability to work with Design Engineering to improve manufacturability and develop more efficient processes is also important.
The role will work with facilities across the RIOP division, other Caterpillar facilities, and potentially with indirect and external suppliers on occasion.
The position is challenged to carefully evaluate problems and review a large number of possible solutions before selecting one option. Problems may be complex and can require the incumbent to develop solutions. Caterpillar is hiring Warehouse Associates to help build a better world!
As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar, you will perform a variety of functions to check, receive, and verify accuracy of part locations and quantities. In addition to counting parts and filling orders, you will conduct first line, basic quality assessment of parts for damage and defects.
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
Starting Pay: $16.30 per hour

Job Duties/Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited to:
Safely perform the material handling and warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
Operates handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
Performs housekeeping functions as required
Will be required to use heavy equipment, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists
Report defects and need for repairs.
Will be required to use pneumatic tools and/or power tools to crate products and prep them for shipment
Build and construct wooden shipping containers
Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative
Adherence to attendance policies
Mandatory overtime may be required (Saturday and possible weekday)
Volunteer overtime may be available

Physical Requirements:

Walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes, with or without reasonable accommodation.
May be required to use pneumatic tools and overhead hoist.
Will be required to work in various areas of the facility day-to-day based on business needs.
