The Loss Mitigation Supervisor reports directly to the Loss Mitigation Manager. Areas of responsibility include working with delinquent accounts through the various functions within Loss Mitigation. The Loss Mitigation Supervisor will be responsible for training, coaching, motivating, recognizing, account reviews, assigning queues, and monitoring work daily in support of department goals.

Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Maintaining a continuous presence.

  • Conducting account level research and monitoring call quality to promote superior service.

  • Handling escalated member calls and providing problem resolution.

  • Effectively supervising and coaching phone-based team members in a fast paced environment.

  • Partner to resolve issues within the Loss Mitigation team and remove barriers.

  • Monitor daily queue coverage and phone staffing needs.

  • Drive morale and identify ways to recognize strong performance.

  • Host and participate in team meetings to ensure communication is consistent and timely.

  • Participate during candidate interviews when recruitment needs arise.

  • Meet all required deadlines.

  • Achieving department delinquency and charge off goals while operating within budgetary guidelines.

  • Oversees scorecards monthly

  • Other projects as assigned by the Loss Mitigation Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required for interfacing with staff and management.

  • Strong leadership skills to ensure that full staffing, consistent remote monitoring, thorough queue audits, adequate training, and staff development needs are met.

  • Analytical ability to understand, interpret, and develop various reports and data.

  • Exceptional judgment in offering customer service to members, adhering to policy, complying with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other applicable regulations, while protecting the credit union assets by identifying opportunities to reduce losses.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with effective collections on delinquent accounts, recovery and repossession.

  • Ability to prioritize work and remain organized.

  • May be asked to fill in for the Loss Mitigation Manager during vacations or other temporary requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • At least three years of collections or loss mitigation experience.

  • At least one year experience in coaching or in development of team members.

  • Previous Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Strong collection insight to direct third party agencies to deliver desired results.

The Interactive Specialist is responsible to the Interactive Manager for providing timely and exceptional support experiences to members. Team members will work in a fast paced, dynamic video call center environment supporting members and staff by video, chat and email. The role focuses on assisting members with their financial needs via the Video Banking platform while providing a consistent approach to service delivery, timely and accurate execution of processes and achieving desired experience goals. Responsible for accurately assisting members with their financial transactions on share and loan accounts as requested and providing information to members regarding membership, new accounts, loans and all other services of the Credit Union through the Direct Teller Machines.

Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Provide engaging member-centric service to members virtually via Video Banking Solution

  • Professionally provide first call resolution by assisting members and potential members with requests; answer questions about products and services including loan products; recommend products that will benefit the member.

  • Producing a pro-rata portion of assigned sales goals

  • Demonstrating the ability to optimize member contacts by meeting immediate need and uncovering additional opportunities to serve the member

  • Utilizing -available- time efficiently, consistently maintaining low -work- and -unavailable- percentages while meeting interaction performance standards

  • Complying with all member verification processes and transaction processing guidelines to mitigate risk and protect the member and the credit union for fraud or loss.

  • Sales and service responsibilities include identifying opportunities to sell credit union products; meeting/exceeding aggressive sales, cross-sell and funding goals; providing prompt, accurate and courteous responses to members; making financial recommendations; processing various complex financial transactions; effectively educating members basic financial literacy components and Chartway's products and services

  • Processing transactions using Video Banking solution - deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, opening accounts, loan applications, etc.

  • Building relationships with members

  • Problem solving issues that may occur with software

  • Provides timely, accurate and energetic support to members

  • Responds to internal and external requests via telephone, email, fax or written correspondence relating to products, policies, procedures and credit union services

  • Review and monitor e-Funds alerts for possible fraudulent activity, research reinvestigation requests and correct discrepancies

  • Deliver an exceptional member experience through ITM technology. The experience will include accurate and efficient transaction processing and friendly and professional service delivery.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience: Three to five years of financial services experience that include support or branch operations roles

  • Experience: Proven track record of progressed responsibility, demonstrating ability to master roles and assignments

Reporting to the Director of Partner Services, the Branch Services Business Analyst will apply analytical skills to support branch service initiatives and execution of branch service strategies. This position will problem-solve through data, while thoughtfully incorporating product dynamics, marketing influences, and a wide range of member impact into recommended solutions. This position will gather sales and production data and report findings and suggestive enhancements to improve sales. This position will work in a collaborative environment on a horizontal team supporting all retail markets and contributing to analytic pursuits across the organization.

Responsible and Accountablefor:

  • Designs, conducts, analyzes, reports on, and manages branch and market production results

  • Develops necessary reporting using Excel and PowerBI tools and provides monthly metrics to show opportunities and trends.

  • Conducts research on member experience, services, and products via a variety of research methods

  • Assist management in establishing or enhancing the measurement of key performance indicators via new dashboards/scorecards.

  • Support market directors in ongoing initiatives from a data and analytic perspective and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed

  • Maintain and improve reporting for the Retail team, including providing guidance in forecasting and budgeting

  • Works closely with Data Analytics and Application Technology teams along with other organizational data experts to ensure validity and accuracy of data sources.

  • Participates on the analyst forum and ask forum

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Possess an excellent analytical, strategic and financial acumen with the ability to think strategically and draw logical conclusions and exercise judgment in recommendations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.

  • Demonstrated data visualization and querying (SQL) expertise. Power BI (Tableau) experience is preferred, but similar systems with transferrable skillsets (Looker, QlikView, Periscope, etc.) are acceptable

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate professionally, concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing to staff, executive management and external business partners

  • Self-starter who can be hands-on and can analyze, interpret and derive insights into business reports, analytic models, and data sources

  • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail, strong drive and a proven ability to work independently

Education, Experienceand Certification:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years experience in lending,sales or marketing, and business analysis

  • Experienceusing Excel, SQL, Power BI and Tableau like software (business analyst)

The Business Analyst - Core Systems is responsible to the Director of Application Technology for gathering business requirements for various supported banking systems, and data and report requests. This role provides analysis to programmers for development, and manages banking system vendor relationships. Coordinates upgrades and other internal and vendor system maintenance. Manages new banking system/application integration.

Responsibleand Accountable for:

  • Analyze applications that support banking functions and provide feedback and recommendations to Director of Application Technology. Banking Systems include but are not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) System, Auto Title Tracking System, Account and Loan Origination System.

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for quality and efficiency improvements in banking system processes and procedures.

  • Function as Analyst/Project Lead for various Technology Dept related projects including but not limited to business intelligence, and internally developed systems/applications.

  • Interacts with end users to gather requirements for changes or modifications to existing applications.

  • Understands various departmental processes and functions that interact with supported banking systems.

  • Develops functional specifications per user requirements and provide clear scope for technical developers.

  • Participate in the design and testing phases, including design and testing of prototypes and orchestration and sign-off on acceptance test results to ensure design integrity.

  • Serves as technical and communications liaison between Application Technology and Retail and other operational departments for all banking system related issues.

  • Serves as technical and communications liaison between the credit union and our banking system partners/vendors.

  • Maintains disaster preparedness of critical banking systems, to include management of disaster recovery testing and ensures changes in operations are reflected in the disaster recovery plan.

  • Deliver project tasks within scope, quality and timeframe commitments made to the project team.

  • Utilize key stakeholders, business partners, vendor assigned resources and any other available resource to research, evaluate solution options and provide recommended solution approach for the Program/Project team.

Knowledge, Skills andAbilities:

  • Keen understanding of project management techniques/methodologies.

  • Strong ability to create project plans and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Understanding of how operational duties impact organizational strategy and goals.

  • Ability to think creatively and contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to learn on the job is a must

  • Ability to manage and work complex and diverse projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

  • Good knowledge in core system operation/testing for financial institutions ($1 billion plus credit unions preferred)

  • Good experience with basic programming, ability to produce reports, and expertise with standard software applications MS Office and Adobe Acrobat

  • Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data with a key understanding of how technology operations help drive business efficiency and can be the driver to achieve organizational goals.

  • Must have the skillset and experience to effectively identify and analyze critical problems and provide viable solutions - while quickly and efficiency communicating to management before, during and after issues arise.

  • Self-motivated and willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge with current and emerging database technologies.

  • Clarifies and translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for Application Technology and manages changes to such specifications.

  • Possess an understanding of technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible to the Director of Talent Engagement for the management of the internal and external recruitment efforts. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for creatively sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, selecting and extending job offers to qualified candidates that fit the culture and values of the credit union. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will fill open positions with the most qualified candidates in the most efficient manner that maintains a reasonable time to fill.

Responsible and Accountable for:

  • Conducts valid skill-based screening interview for prospective team members to recommend for further review and hiring for open positions within the credit union.

  • Seeks out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates through social media posts, resume mining, outreach efforts, college/university recruitment, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other position advertising methods. Remains current with the latest recruiting techniques and solutions.

  • Manage applicant pool utilizing applicant tracking software, maintains vacancy listing.

  • Manages team member referral program, and ensures payment of referral bonus outlined in the program.

  • Maintain contact with internal team members (Managers, Directors and Senior Leaders) to develop a thorough understanding of the position requirements and department culture, thereby helping candidates to fully understand the opportunity and ensure the best selection.

  • Brand ambassador of the credit union, promoting our story and benefits of employment to prospective team members within our communities and to members.

  • Works with Talent Development Team to obtain training plan for all new hires and newly promoted team members to ensure their success in the role.

  • Makes offers of employment to internal and external candidates reviewing the position offered, salary, benefits, training, and the on-boarding process. Provides feedback for internal candidates not selected.

  • Manages internal job postings, external employment ads, and the recruitment and use of temporary staffing needs.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to conduct valid skill and behavioral based interviews to ascertain applicant's knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties of the position for which they are interviewing.

  • Ability to understand and accurately describe duties, responsibilities and team environments to applicants to ensure they have a solid understanding of the position they are applying for.

  • Ability to work with all levels of team members and management to fill open positions within the credit union.

  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and multitasker.

  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: College degree in related field required.

  • Experience:1-3 years experience in Human Resources; preferably in Recruitment.

  • Experience using social media for sourcing/recruiting, building relationships and contributing to an overall recruitment strategy/brand.
