Under the direction of a manager, the Sports Physical Therapist performs a wide variety of patient care activities related to orthopedic and sports conditions. Demonstrates excellence in sports physical therapy practice characterized by quality patient care and participation in formal and informal patient, student, community and staff education. Reports to Sports Medicine Manager and works in close cooperation with and under the clinical guidance of the referring physician(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care, modifying treatment as appropriate in accordance with the plan of care.
Monitors and documents response to and outcomes of prescribed care.
Provides sports injury prevention instruction and techniques to patients, parents, coaches and others in the community.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Current State license as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist holding a valid Compact State license, or Physical Therapist Applicant awaiting licensure.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Professional knowledge of physical therapy theory and practice. Must possess current CPR certification.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of chemistry, biology, mathematics, hematology, microbiology and serology at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, which includes successful completion of a supervised clinical internship.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, nursing personnel and other clinicians while reporting and explaining test results, gathering information, etc.
Approximately two years of laboratory experience is preferred in order to gain knowledge and proficiency in performing procedures.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Laboratory Information System (LIS) software preferred.
Analytical skills necessary in order to interpret and analyze routine test results, and determine appropriate course of action for abnormal or atypical results.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Laboratory service areas work environment with frequent exposure to physical discomforts due to unpleasant odors from specimens and chemicals. Frequent exposure to infectious agents when handling hazardous material, but potential for personal harm or injury is reduced when proper safety and health precautions are followed.

The Director of Supply Chain Management is responsible for the overall operation of the supply chain activities for the health system. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Radiological Technologist - Urgent Care reports to department leadership and under direction of a provider/nurse/MLT, supports and assists with the provision of identified clinical and laboratory services to enhance and maintain patient flow and satisfaction. Accurately obtains, documents, and reports variances for: history, vital signs, EKG's, and growth parameters for developmental stage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs radiologic procedures and examinations under the direction of radiologists or delegating practitioner to produce radiographic studies which are used in medical diagnosis.
Receives and interprets requests and/or instructions for radiologic procedures; gains the cooperation of patients; operates radiographic equipment; and records results of diagnostic imaging.
Takes appropriate action to protect patient, self and others from secondary radiation.
Maintains and applies knowledge of radiation protection standards; knowledge of the function of the major divisions of the skeletal system and major organs; and knowledge of the physical concept of energy and the property of X-rays and electric circuits to perform diagnostic procedures and to assist as a member of a medical team in radiologic examinations.
Provides services using imaging modalities including but not limited to conventional x-ray (CR, DR).
Evaluates radiographs for technical quality.
Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures.
Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and reports to provider/radiologist.
Assists with clinical processes to support nursing/medical care for the provision of safe, accurate and timely patient care.
Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
2-3 years pediatric or general x-ray experience preferred.
Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients/families, staff and physicians.
Analytical skills necessary to determine best method of providing requested radiographs based on the individual case and basic technical principles, ensuring clear undistorted radiographs at the lowest radiation exposure/dosage.
Ability to work as a clinically integrated team member to support and assist with the provision of identified clinical and laboratory services to maintain patient flow and satisfaction.
CPR Training required and/or must be obtained and maintained within 45 days of hire.
Must provide record of a completed diploma (or equivalent) or academic transcript for those areas performing laboratory or point of care testing.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Radiology/Imaging areas work environment with rare exposure to physical discomforts due to unpleasant odors from specimens and chemicals. Occasional exposure to infectious agents when handling specimens or hazardous materials but potential for personal harm or injury is reduced when proper safety and health precautions are followed. Regular exposure to radiation. Minimum chance of injury once established safety procedures are followed. Ability to stand for long periods of time wearing a lead apron. Ability to lift or turn disabled patients. Although radiation hazards exist in this occupation, they are minimized by the use of lead aprons, gloves, and other shielding devices, and by instruments monitoring exposure to radiation. Radiation exposure badges must be worn to measure radiation levels in the radiation area.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under direction of departmental leadership, the Patient Access Technician provides clerical and secretarial support for the patient care team and serves as a patient liaison for medical support services. Responsible for accurate data collection, documentation, and data retrieval with computerized systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets, instructs, directs and assists patients and visitors upon arrival to the service area.
Facilitates the revenue cycle process to include but not limited to patient registration, insurance verification to confirm active policy, co-payment collection, authorization data entry and billing inquiry functions.
Works collaboratively with various departments on patient access related information.
Conducts pre-registration and insurance verification for CHKDHS services.
Provides coverage to assigned registration locations including those outside of primary work location or by task assignment based on operational needs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 - 3 years of related work experience preferred.

Knowledge of third party payers, ICD-9/ CPT coding and medical terminology preferred.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively gather and exchange information in both oral and written communications with proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Demonstrates proficiency in computer keyboarding skills required.

Participates in PI, QA, and QC to ensure all regulatory requirements maintain an 'in compliance' status.
Functions in a charge or lead role as assigned for the days operations to ensure safe quality and efficient workflow, practices, staffing and operations.

LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist in all disciplines by the Board of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP).
CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire for designated job roles.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, nursing personnel and other clinicians relative to patient testing and information gathering.
Six to twelve months of laboratory training/job experience necessary in order to become familiar with a variety of laboratory testing procedures.
Ability to resolve technical problems using standard guides and procedures. Analytical skills necessary in order to perform and interpret routine tests and recognize abnormal/critical test results.
Must be able to determine the appropriate course of action for abnormal, atypical or critical test results.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) software preferred.
