Is responsible for the accurate preparation of non-sterile extemporaneous products, unit-dose preparations; inventory control; medication delivery, distribution, and storage; care of supplies and equipment; and management of automated medication dispensing systems. Assists the pharmacist and pharmacy leadership in all aspects of the daily departmental activities, including training of new staff and pharmacy students, billing, record keeping and other clerical functions, monthly audits, and other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy leader.

Education Qualifications:

If working in a MN location, must meet one of these three education/experience categories as defined by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy:

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician with maintenance of continuous registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy dating back prior to January 1st, 2013

ORCompletion of a board-approved technician training program

ORCompletion of the Essentia Health employer-based technician training program within first 90 days of employment.

If working in a ND location, must meet one of these two education requirements, as defined by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy:

Successful completion of an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists accredited academic program.

OR

Completion of, or be enrolled in, an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists accredited on-the-job training program. Program must be completed and must have obtained certification by a national certification body approved by the Board of Pharmacy within 24 months of hire. The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is an approved certification body.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

PTCB Certification(General) must be completed within one year of hire unless currently enrolled as a Pharmacy student in an accredited Pharm.D. program if working in either state.

Registered as a pharmacy technician in the state in which they will be working, physically practicing in or the state that they will be providing pharmacy services into, on or before their first day in the pharmacy (Minnesota/North Dakota locations only)

General Information

Essentia Health offers a 1-year fellowship for Family Medicine physicians who desire advanced training in Obstetrics subsequent to medical practice in rural locations.

• Six Months of training will be dedicated to management if routine and high-risk obstetrics, developing competence inoperative deliveries and Cesarean section, and expanding skills in ultrasound, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and colposcopy.

• Curriculum consists of: 24 weeks obstetrics, 12 weeks outpatient primary care, 8 weeks emergency medicine/trauma/critical care and 4 weeks electives.

• The fellow will also participate in education of University of Minnesota medical students and Duluth Family Medicine residents.

• Annual Stipend will be paid

Essentia Health offers a 1-year fellowship for Family Medicine physicians who desire advanced training in Obstetrics subsequent to medical practice in rural locations.

• Six Months of training will be dedicated to management if routine and high-risk obstetrics, developing competence inoperative deliveries and Cesarean section, and expanding skills in ultrasound, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and colposcopy.

• Curriculum consists of: 24 weeks obstetrics, 12 weeks outpatient primary care, 8 weeks emergency medicine/trauma/critical care and 4 weeks electives.

• The fellow will also participate in education of University of Minnesota medical students and Duluth Family Medicine residents.

• Positions offered: 1-2

• Annual Stipend will be paid

Prerequisites for Acceptance

• MD/DO degree

• Completion of a 3-year ACGME or AOA accredited family medicine residency

• Board certified or board eligible

• Minnesota medical license

About our Behavioral Health Team:

• Join a group of 10 adult and 3 child and adolescent psychiatrists as part of a Behavioral Health Care Team. Other members of the team include; doctoral level psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, RN's and clinical assistants. The Behavioral Health Division provides a spectrum of care for children and adults, including inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison and emergency psychiatry, ECT procedures, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and an outpatient behavioral health clinic. The Division also includes Health Psychology doctorate and master's level psychologists.

Works under direct supervision and provides low level oversight of secure enterprise network architecture. Responsibilities include: Tier I support and administration of vulnerability assessment software, IDS/IPS, vulnerability remediation, and SIEM. Acts as a member of the Computer Security Incident Response Team in identifying and responding to security incidents. Assists in real-time analysis of the organizations security posture to include wireless, firewall, web application, UTM, and risk assessment. Assists in the research and recommendations of projects involving Information Security.
