This position will assist in the timely dispensing of medications to patients ensuring accurate labeling and in compliance with all legal requirements, regulatory agency standards, third party contracts and Essentia Health Policy and Procedures. Responsible for performing all duties associated with interpretation, order verification, dispensing and monitoring of medications ordered by prescribers; the evaluation and dissemination of comprehensive information about medications and their use, to patients, families, and medical staff; and providing quality pharmaceutical care to make a healthy difference in people's lives. Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required)ASHP-Accredited Hospital Residency, or three or more years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy of the state in which they will be working (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota). Pharmacists in the UFCW 1189 Collective Bargaining Agreement, are required to be licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, regardless of their primary worksite.

This position provides therapy services to patients of all ages, including evaluation and assessment, treatment, education, and consultation to improve patients' abilities to their highest possible level. This position provides services as part of a care team assembled to assure optimal clinical and financial outcomes, under the direction of Essentia Health management and the referring physician.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current state licensure as Occupational Therapist.

Hand Therapy

Caseload will be primarily hand therapy.

Splinting experience required.
