Responsible for general maintenance in a medical specialty campus. Provides routine and preventative maintenance including inspection, general maintenance and repairs on various systems such as pressure boilers, basic HVAC systems, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment. May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned. Operate and maintain steam production equipment which includes boilers, feed pumps, fuel pumps, controls, water softeners, steam traps, and valves. Operate and maintain emergency generators and water booster pumps. Ensures that all steam producing equipment at all Essentia Health locations is being operated according to applicable state laws and insurance carrier requirements.

Education Qualifications:

Minimum of a 2 year vocational school or a 2-year apprenticeship program or the equivalent plus 2 years experience in a maintenance role.

Current Class -Special- Boilers License or higher within 6 months.

Healthcare Construction or Infection Control Risk Assessment Certificate within 12 months of hire or transfer.

State of Minnesota Engineer 1st Class B within 3 years.

State of Minnesota Engineer Chief B License may be required depending on the size of the facility.

Key Responsibilities: - Supports Pharmacy workflow development and optimization - Communicates with Inter and intradepartmental pharmacy - Reviews, develops, and implements quality improvement tasks - Attends Hospital and Pharmacy meetings as assigned - Job duties may also include daily medication monitoring, distribution and acquisition duties as required by the pharmacy department, medication reconciliation, anticoagulation dosing and monitoring, pharmacokinetic monitoring, renal dose adjustments, and provide medication related consultative service to staff within Essentia Health. Assists in all aspects of the daily departmental activities, including training of new staff and precepting pharmacy students, interns and residents, billing, record keeping, monthly audits, and other duties as assigned by the department leader. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Education Qualifications:

Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (BS or PharmD degree required) ASHP-Accredited Hospital Residency, or three or more years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Board of Pharmacy of the state in which they will be working (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota).
