Overview

To assist the Branch Manager of a small/medium/large branch office by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure operational functions are completed and properly performed by branch staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead branch team to provide members the full range of Navy Federal Credit Union products and services including lending products and depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate, IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts

  • Assist the Manager in monitoring cash operations and branch self-auditing efforts to keep credit union assets secure and within operational limits

  • Manage staff to ensure vault opening, closing and balancing procedures are completed

  • Participate in outside marketing and promotional activities for members and potential members through financial presentations, local events and realtor/trade shows and events

  • Participate in recruiting efforts, on-boarding and initial training of team members

  • Participate in budget, purchasing, tracking and records retention for business expenses

  • Guide team development for continual growth in technical, soft and leadership skills

  • Provide applicable support to ensure team achieves and maintains product, service and business goals, including cross servicing of Navy Federal products and services

  • Assist with leading and training team members to deliver high quality service to our members

  • Analyze reports and conduct trend analysis to optimize business performance

  • Ensure compliance with all security, safety and emergency preparedness procedures

  • Ensure compliance with all HR related policies, practices and procedures, such as timekeeping, recruiting, compensation, separations, leave usage, etc.

  • Ensure the team follows, complies with and regularly reviews all required policies, practices and procedures

  • Perform supervisory/managerial responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities

  • Ensure adequate/skilled staffing; select employees

  • Establish performance goals and priorities

  • Prepare, conduct and review performance appraisals

  • Develop, mentor, and counsel staff

  • Provide input and/or prepare budget requirements for Annual Financial Plan (AFP)

  • Ensure section/branch goals and objectives align with division/department strategy

  • Ensure efficiency of operations

  • Act as Manager in the incumbent's absence

Qualifications

  • Scorecard criteria requirements as defined by Branch Operations Governance or applicable external experience

  • Working knowledge of applicable federal regulations governing consumer lending and/or credit cards, mortgage and equity loans, savings and checking accounts

  • Working knowledge of multiple financial products such as consumer mortgage loan, credit cards, and/or savings/checking accounts

  • Working knowledge of functions relating to cash and ATM operations

Overview

As ISD Engineer III, the candidate would understand the business requirements, abstract the requirements, and design a configurable, extensible, scalable, performant, robust solution.

The person will be responsible for providing technical solutions to evolve existing applications, ensuring the designed solutions are workable by coding or piloting in key modules, and being agile and innovative to solve business problems. Individuals in this role will work on multiple highly complex projects and require in depth technical knowledge of cloud architecture approach and have experience of cloud technology stack. Positions in this function would be responsible for delivering professional level technical work in support of the development of applications, tools, platforms, and services. Responsibilities

This will require close collaboration with the Technology Product Owner and Technology Product Managers in Cloud Enabled Core services, vendors and other departments in ISD. This person will interact with ISD, business unit leadership, and vendors to support the development of a roadmap that addresses the necessary milestones needed to support the implementation of the new cloud Core Banking system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise in distributed and cloud technologies

  • Ensure appropriate thought and considerations are applied to sizing and performance metrics of the new cloud banking core

  • In partnership with CBS Leadership, manage and build relationships with third-party vendors to achieve cost efficiencies and ensure that service level agreements are established and met

Overview

To perform penetration testing against systems across NFCU in order to identify weaknesses and provide guidance on remediation and prevention. Conduct application, network, wireless, and mobile assessments as well as lead red team campaigns. Assess a wide variety of critical systems and applications to discover exploitable risks to the credit union and improve the risk posture of the organization. Provide findings and remediation guidance to relevant teams and serve as subject matter expert to help engineering teams understand findings and successfully manage risk. Work is performed under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

- Independently manage penetration tests from inception through delivery to include:

o Scoping assessments and establishing rules of engagement

o Designing penetration tests for systems and applications using established assessment frameworks; account for common and unique application and system considerations

o Sourcing and leveraging information such as source code, architecture diagrams, etc. to enhance assessment coverage

o Coordinating & scheduling testing with engineering teams across the enterprise

o Effectively managing relationships and communicating with engineering teams before, during, and after testing

o Acting as subject matter expert with engineering teams when communicating results, preventative measures, remediation steps, and other security related information

o Acting as a technical lead for multi-resource engagements

- Identify and prescribe remediation for vulnerabilities in NFCU applications, systems, and networks

- Leverage complex tactics including, but not limited to, lateral movement, network tunneling/pivoting, credential compromise, and hash cracking

- Lead red team exercises with a focus on stealth, long campaigns, social engineering, and realistic threats

- Enhance testing by identifying novel attack patterns against NFCU systems and applications based on real-world data

- Perform attacks consistent with common threats (e.g OWASP top 10) as well as uncommonly observed attacks specific to certain technologies and frameworks

- Research and develop exploits for local and remote targets

- Craft proofs of concept as well as deployable exploits for both public and novel vulnerabilities

- Create and automate custom fuzzing leveraging techniques relevant to NFCU technologies

- Develop custom scripts (Nuclei, Python, etc) to check for security requirements specific to individual applications

- Communicate complex technical risks concisely to non-technical and executive audiences

- Effectively employ OpSec best practices to minimize distribution of vulnerability data

- Mentor and support more junior staff across the security organization
