Responsibilities

The Ci vilian Marketing Director will be responsible for the following:

Marketing Planning and Execution

  • Drives plans and strategies for integrated marketing plans aligned to targeted business outcomes across business areas. Partners with local teams including Program Marketing Managers (PMMs), Sales, Communications, Finance, and Business Operations to establish the appropriate marketing plan. Ensures local marketing plan leverages Global Demand Center (GDC) strategy, execution frameworks and marketing technology (MarTech) capabilities to drive business priorities (e.g., customer adds, lead generation) via local marketing engines (e.g., digital, social, email, events). Aligns marketing tactics to marketing objectives (e.g., acquisition, nurture, re-engagement) and relevant metrics. Collaborates with GDC team and area stakeholders to align Marketing plans to GDC strategy, capabilities, and engines. Gathers and shares back internal and external feedback about the quality of the plan.

  • Delivers and optimizes marketing plan based on insights and local market knowledge. Interprets and provides recommendations for reports and analyses of customer metrics for their impact on the local market. Leverages corporate customer targeting, segmentation tools and various metrics to provide recommendations to continually update and improve on customer experiences (e.g., optimize segments, spend, performance, improve digital channels). Aligns digital engine plan with critical company focuses such as privacy, accessibility, and compliance. Lands local events and campaigns that are aligned to the global-event framework, leveraging appropriate target lists and digital tools

Measurement

  • Analyzes marketing performance and marketing spend reports, to identify and share insights that may affect marketing and business-planning decision making through a regular rhythm of business (ROB) of reporting and business review meetings. Provides data-driven insights leveraging available Global Demand Center (GDC) tools and dashboards to optimize marketing strategy and delivery. Takes action based on insights from corporate data, with guidance as needed. Connects data insights with deep knowledge of local market trends. Promotes local adoption and usage of global available tools. Incorporates inclusive marketing and accessibility principles, best practices, and tools in the execution of marketing initiatives. Partners with the GDC team to create and improve tools if additional needs are uncovered.

Marketing Operations

  • Drives the Rhythm of Connection (RoC) with local stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption of Global Demand Center (GDC) strategies and messaging. Maintains and reviews marketing-related spending against planned estimates. Reviews any marketing budget or spend management governance. Ensures event or campaign delivery is consistent with marketing plan and is progressing appropriately. Reviews marketing activities and local website properties for any gaps with global guidance and compliance standards (e.g., accessibility, privacy, security, area company brand) as well as local compliance standards. Executes standardized, scalable, compliant, and efficient marketing execution by leveraging global capabilities, engines, and tools via MSC (Marketing Service Central) in partnership with Global Demand Center (GDC) stakeholders. Contributes to the development of strategic responses to specific market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and/or trends.

CESI is seeking a Senior Service Manager to join our Critical Environment Infrastructure team. In close collaboration with peer teams and stakeholders, this role will work with a team of service engineers charged with the design, integration, and operational support for CO+I's Critical Environment Telemetry systems across all datacenters. The primary accountabilities for the role are managing the distinct services within CESI. This includes defining and meeting Operational SLAs, security mandates, and related post-deployment telemetry service management and sustaining operations. The key areas of responsibility include ensuring the CE telemetry infrastructure meets planned capacity needs for existing and upcoming sites, collaborating to ensure that the associated technology stack meets evolving design, security, and compliance standards, and providing 24/7/365 telemetry infrastructure operational support. This individual will use a growth mindset to develop, foster, and leverage partnerships with CESI engineering teams, peer teams, Datacenter Operations teams, and CO+I teams responsible for the design and delivery of datacenters.

The ideal candidate will possess a range of service management experience including defining operational SLA's, creating service roadmaps, reporting on monthly service metrics and availability while fostering a continuous improvement mindset. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure architecture in building, managing, and maintaining services. They will also work with Microsoft partners in the evolution of hardware and software features which support Critical Environment work.

Partners with Finance to own expense management including documentation (purchase orders [POs], receipts, tax award spreadsheets, statements of work, reclassifications), expense tracking, and policy compliance. Identifies and resolves expense and supply related issues (missing purchase orders, account imbalances) by communicating with senior leaders and Finance as applicable. May serve as interim approver for finance approvals. Contributes to and oversees planning, tracking, maintenance, and adjustment of equipment and inventory. May perform vendor and supplier management, including ensuring they are set up for financial processing. May contribute to complex budget management in partnership with peers (Finance, Controller, Business Managers, Chiefs of Staff) by reviewing, forecasting, and providing recommendations to ensure efficiency/quality.

Rhythm of Business (ROB)

  • Understands and helps to implement rhythm of business (ROB) in line with recognized patterns, and proactively takes action on business cadence. Creates, builds, and adjusts plans within areas of responsibility in partnership with Business Manager and/or Chiefs of Staff. Executes meeting cadence around the ROB of the leader. Uses discretion to determine a distribution plan for confidential internal and external communications and brings awareness to patterns. Supports continual implementation and flexibility of the ROB by partnering with peers (Chiefs of Staff) and gathering feedback.

Space Management and Planning

  • Maintains and manages up-to-date space-management processes and team spaces (office locations/desk assignments, private conference rooms, seasonally transitional spaces, remote/location status). Coordinates large-scale space requests (annual office restacks, space build outs), liaising between admins and space planner and advocating for appropriate space for their team. Collaborates with others to design and plan room layouts, including furniture, technology, and equipment needs/assembly. Maintains detailed space utilization data to recommend changes in space assignments and identify future space requirements. Escalates and shares with senior team members. Resolves escalations and postmortem issues.

Travel Management

  • Manages travel arrangements (accommodations, transportation, security, group codes) for manager(s) and/or group. Creates detailed itineraries/agendas for daily activities by building agenda and setting and managing travel expectations to maximize trip productivity. Executes on logistics of agenda (building agenda and expectations, briefing leader, sharing information with countries). Acts as a stand-by resource to address issues/escalations during business travel. Facilitates communication across stakeholders ahead of travel. Ensures required documents (immunization records, visas) are obtained for international travel. Guides less experienced colleagues, leveraging full knowledge of Microsoft travel policies. May accompany leaders on business trips to provide onsite support. Manages and ensures compliance with relevant US Travel Tax Tool.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.

  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $27.40 - $46.49 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.84 - $52.98 per hour.

We are looking for a Digital Sales Specialist-Business Applications. This person will be responsible for the Business Applications suite of solutions, specializing in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions on our North America Enterprise team. You will work with our most important customers within our Enterprise organization. You will drive the day-to-day execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities - selling best-in-class Business Applications cloud services to our managed customers, building digital transformation momentum for these customers, our partners, and Microsoft.

Qualifications
