Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Assembly B (Intermediate Level) you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division performing production tasks for a wide variety of Dewar assemblies which may include skilled hand work and or utilizing automated production equipment. Work is performed in a clean lab that sometimes requires optical magnification. This is a first shift position with flexible start time.
Essential Functions:
Complete assigned manufacturing process steps for DEWAR assemblies and sub-assemblies for customer deliverables
Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component preparation/installation, hand soldering as needed on assembly units
Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents
Understand and follow appropriate test equipment / safety procedures
Support group objectives for on-time delivery
Follow industry standard or practice for 6S
Work independently and with a team
Provide regular status reports on work in progress
Qualifications:
Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
2 years or more experience using email and Microsoft office.
Able to work second shift
2 years or more experience with hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Craft and validate requirements and qualification test plans for non-standard parts, materials, and processes, ensuring customer approval and compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

A solid background of 5-6 years in aerospace component requirements, including Aerospace TOR.
Proficiency 5-6 years' experience in electronic obsolescence tools and methodologies.
Eligibility to obtain a security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in failure analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).
Familiarity with diverse component families, including hybrids, microcircuits, semiconductors, oscillators, and passive devices.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with suppliers to address and resolve issues.
Knowledge of industry standards such as MIL-HDBK-217F, MIL-STD-882E, or MIL-STD-1629A.
Experience in reliability engineering, including FMEAs, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis (ESA), or similar disciplines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HAYSTACK, Accuris, or Silicone Expert.
